- In the first 12 hours after inserting the batteries, as the barometric values are not yet fully available.
- When a storm is approaching (weather warning).
- Remove all batteries from the base station and outdoor sensor.
- Wait for at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
Tips:
- If there are problems, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- Consider choosing a different location for the base station.
- Press the reset button on the back briefly with a pen.
- Consider placing the station closer to the window, as reception may be limited inside buildings.
- RESET: Reset the clock mechanism. The hands move to 12:00, and a new attempt to receive the DCF signal starts.
- REC: Start a manual attempt to receive the DCF signal (e.g., after relocating the device).
- M.SET: Manual time setting when the signal cannot be received or the device is outside the reception range.
