Weather Stations FAQ

Here you will find an overview of frequently asked questions about weather stations.

INFO: Issues with Daylight Saving Time (Summer/Winter Time)

If the clock does not automatically adjust after a time change (Daylight Saving Time/Winter Time), it is likely that the time signal reception was missed during the transition. Please remove all batteries for about 10 minutes and then reinsert them. This will allow the device to re-sync the time.

Symbols & Displays

The symbol blinks when the air pressure drops sharply in a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are likely approaching. Once the air pressure stabilizes, the blinking will automatically stop – it serves as a storm warning.
  • In the first 12 hours after inserting the batteries, as the barometric values are not yet fully available.
  • When a storm is approaching (weather warning).
No. In this model, the temperature and humidity sensors are located in the connection cable, not in the housing. This prevents incorrect readings due to the display lighting.

Outdoor Sensors & Connection

Please proceed as follows:
  1. Remove all batteries from the base station and outdoor sensor.
  2. Wait for at least 3–10 minutes.
  3. Insert the batteries into the base station.
  4. Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected, and the outdoor temperature will be displayed.

Tips:
  • If there are problems, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different types or charge levels may cause interference.
  • Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
  • Consider choosing a different location for the base station.

Time & DCF Signal

If pressing the "DCF" button on the back doesn't help, reset the station:
  • Press the reset button on the back briefly with a pen.
  • Consider placing the station closer to the window, as reception may be limited inside buildings.
  • RESET: Reset the clock mechanism. The hands move to 12:00, and a new attempt to receive the DCF signal starts.
  • REC: Start a manual attempt to receive the DCF signal (e.g., after relocating the device).
  • M.SET: Manual time setting when the signal cannot be received or the device is outside the reception range.
