The BRESSER 6x24 OLED laser rangefinder allows you to reliably determine the distance between your location and an object, animal or building. The device is very easy to use: simply switch on, look through the eyepiece, place the reticle over the object you want to measure, and then press the button. The distance is displayed in metres on the high-quality OLED display with a measuring accuracy of ±0.2 m to ±0.5 m. Thanks to the harmless 905 nm laser beam, the device can determine distances within fractions of a second. The target can be located at a distance of up to 800 m. The rangefinder also features a great additional function for moving objects: a speedometer. This enables you to determine in an instant how fast something is moving towards you, away from you or past you - at speeds of up to 300 km/h.

Due to its compact dimensions, the distance measuring device only weighs around 230 g, and is therefore ideal for hiking, hunting, sailing and other outdoor activities. The small device also comes with high-quality optics with 6x magnification and close-up focus from a distance of 4 metres. The field of view is 7 degrees - or in other words: 122.5 m at a distance of 1000 m - ideal for a perfect overview of your surroundings. The dioptre compensation of +/- 5 ensures that you will always obtain a crystal-clear image. In addition, the brightness of the display can be adapted to the current lighting conditions. The BRESSER NightExplorer 7x50 astronomy binoculars are ideal for terrestrial observations in poor light conditions and discovering the night sky. They feature a 50-millimetre objective that lets in plenty of light. Thanks to the 7x magnification, objects that are 700 metres away appear to be just 100 metres in front of you. Compared with binoculars with a higher magnification, these binoculars allow you to see much more. At a distance of 1000 metres, the field of view is 126 metres wide. Focusing

Astro all-rounder for beginners - the telescope
The astronomical telescope is a classic reflector telescope, a so-called Newtonian reflector. One characteristic of this particular type: They are designed to look in at the front and from the side instead of the rear. Thus, the observation position always remains comfortable, even when the tube is pointed vertically into the sky. Once familiar with it, the telescope is also very easy to use. These reflector telescopes also have one important advantage regarding their optics: they are free of chromatic aberrations and thus offer good imaging properties.
With its 130 mm aperture, this entry-level telescope already collects a lot of light from celestial objects. In addition, 130 mm aperture and 650 mm focal length result in a short focal ratio (ratio of aperture to focal length) of 1 to 5 (F/5). This allows you to marvel at a bright image through this fast telescope. It also allows for high magnifications, making the beginner's telescope a flexible all-rounder for sky observing. Enjoy the full range of astronomical highlights: At low to medium magnification, take in open and globular clusters such as M13 in the constellation Hercules. Or you can admire gas nebulae such as the famous Orion Nebula M42. At high magnifications, on the other hand, observing the planets or details on the Moon becomes an absolute pleasure.
The 130 mm aperture offers a resolution which allows you to admire your favourite celestial objects in sharp images at magnifications of up to about 260x. Technically, even more is possible - theoretically up to 487.5x with the included accessories. However, the image sharpness can then slowly decrease with increasing magnification. Nevertheless, how much you can really magnify, depends not only on your telescope. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) is also always an important factor in your astronomical observations.
Please note that reflecting telescopes of the "Newton" type always produce images both laterally reversed and upside down. This does not matter for astronomical observations, which is why these telescopes are very well suited for these purposes. For nature and landscape observations during the day, however, this characteristic is disruptive. Therefore, we recommend the BRESSER refracting telescopes for this application.
User-friendly and stable - mount and tripod
Have you found the perfect place for your observations? Then just attach the telescope to the equatorial mount and the height-adjustable aluminium tripod. The advantage of this type of mount: unlike azimuthal models, the movement of the celestial bodies has to be counterbalanced on just one axis. For this purpose, one axis is aligned parallel to the Earth's axis by pointing it approximately at the polar star. Adjustment and tracking of the telescope is particularly precise and comfortable via the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment. And your accessories stay always within reach on the storage plate attached to the tripod.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable!
Complete astronomy starter package - the accessories
Unpack and get started straight away - the beginner's telescope comes with lots of accessories. The LED viewfinder enables you to navigate the night sky with ease. This direction finder is installed on the telescope and projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. When you look through it, the red dot appears to be floating at the exact location in the sky to which the telescope is pointed. Thus, the LED viewfinder allows you to easily find celestial objects and accurately align the telescope.

A classic for astro-newbies - the telescope
Very easy to handle, even for beginners and children: this classic refracting telescope - a so-called Fraunhofer achromatic refractor - will help you get started in astronomy successfully. Thanks to the modern, precisely coated optics, you will benefit from good imaging properties when looking at astronomical sights. With its 90 mm aperture, this beginner’s telescope already collects around 165 times more light than the human eye and thus offers good resolving power. In addition, the 90 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length result in a large focal ratio (aperture/focal length) of 1 to 10 (F/10). The effect: you will enjoy a sharp image with good contrast.
Due to the combination of large aperture and long focal length the telescope for beginners is a flexible multi-talent. It’s not only very suitable for observing the Moon, Sun and planets. You can also use it to get a closer look at many deep-sky objects. Enjoy the view of sparkling open star clusters and globular clusters, but also gas nebulae such as the Orion Nebula M42 or the Dumbbell Nebula M27 can be seen beautifully.
But what about the magnification? The resolving power achieved by the 90 mm aperture easily allows magnifications of up to about 180x with really sharp images. Technically, the beginner’s telescope can do a lot more: with the included accessories, magnifications of up to 675x are possible. However, you want to see the celestial bodies as clearly as possible, but as the magnification increases, the image sharpness can slowly decrease. How much you can magnify during your astronomical explorations also depends on more than just your telescope. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) is also always an important factor.
Twice as good for flexible sky observation - mount and tripod
The height-adjustable aluminium tripod with a particularly adaptable mount provides a secure footing for your explorations of the universe. The MPM (Multi-Purpose-Mount) can be used both azimuthally and equatorially. In the azimuthal mode, its handling is particularly intuitive: just as with a common photo tripod, you can simply swing the beginner’s telescope to the left and right, up and down by hand. Alternatively, you can use the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment to point and track your telescope with extra precision and comfort.
The integrated polar-wedge also allows you to tilt the axis cross into an equatorial position. This means that one axis is parallel to the Earth's axis. You then only have to compensate for the movement of the celestial bodies on this one axis. No more simultaneous movement along the two axes! Of course, the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment are also usable for the equatorial mode.
A handy feature of the tripod: a storage plate is placed between the tripod legs. Here your astronomy accessories are always within reach.
Fully equipped for your amazing astronomy adventure - the accessories
In addition to the telescope, tripod and mount, you need a few extras in order to make your very own exciting discoveries in the sky. Therefore, the telescope set for beginners contains all the necessary equipment and more. An important helper: the LED viewfinder. Using it is very easy: install the direction finder, which projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen, parallel to the actual beginner's telescope. When you look through it, the red dot appears to float in front of the sky. This allows you to quickly see what your telescope is pointing at. Thus, the LED viewfinder enables you to easily find celestial objects and align the telescope precisely - before going on to the detailed view through the magnification of the telescope.
You decide how big you want the astronomical objects to appear by choosing the eyepiece. Even through the two eyepieces included in the astronomy set (4 mm and 20 mm) you will be able to get very different images of the celestial bodies. Would you like to see even more details? Then simply triple the magnification of the eyepiece using the 3x Barlow lens. And should you wish for even more flexibility by means of different magnifications, you will have a large selection of optional eyepieces for your beginner’s telescope. The 31.7mm (1.25 inch) socket diameter corresponds to an international and manufacturer-independent standard.
You don't want to have to lie down underneath the beginner’s telescope for your observations, even though it’s pointed vertically into the sky? You won’t have to, because the 90-degree star diagonal mirror always allows you to look in comfortably. This is also true during the day. For not only the night holds fascinating sights in store for us. That's why you can safely observe the star of our daytime sky with the solar filter: the Sun. Space Explorer telescope - everything you need for a good view into space
Designed for beginners and advanced observers, this telescope has everything that you need to explore space on clear nights. The red dot finder provides an easy way to orientate yourself in the night sky. Once you have set up the finder on the telescope, the small red dot will show you the direction in which your telescope is pointing. Once you have decided on an object, you can view it more detail with the three eyepieces. Marvel at Saturn's majestic rings and the gas giant Jupiter in different magnifications with the 4 mm, 12 mm and 20 mm eyepieces. On dark, moonless nights, the brightest gas nebula, galaxies and star clusters are also visible. If you're fascinated by the moon, simply screw the moon filter into the back of one of the eyepieces.
