Durchlichtmikroskop mit Objektivrevolver

Bei den professionellen Mikroskopen verfügt der Beleuchtungsstrahlengang über eine Leuchtfeldblende, einen höhenverstellbaren und zentrierbaren Kondensor (Abbe-Kondensor) und eine Kondensorblende. Hiermit kann der Strahlengang optimal an das Objektiv und dessen numerische Apertur (der Öffnungswinkel des Objektivs) angepasst werden. Dies nennt man Köhlersche Beleuchtung. Bei höherer Vergrößerung (höhere Apertur des Objektivs) muss die Kondensorblende weiter geöffnet werden. Auch wenn die Frontlinse der Objektive bei höherer Vergrößerung immer kleiner wird, so wird doch dieser Effekt durch den viel kleineren Arbeitsabstand überkompensiert. Die Frontlinse sitzt sehr viel näher an der Probe und damit wird ein größerer Öffnungswinkel notwendig, um das Objektiv komplett auszuleuchten.

BRESSER Science Infinity Microscope
The New BRESSER Science Infinity is the new top of the range of the biology microscope series by BRESSER. Der Auflichtstrahlengang entspricht aber weitestgehend dem eines Durchlichtmikroskops, und ist genau wie dieses mit einem Kondensor sowie Kondensorblende und Leuchtfeldblende ausgestattet. Diese Mikroskope finden z. B. in der Metallurgie oder allgemein für undurchsichtige Proben (Halbleiter, Keramik etc.) Anwendung.

BRESSER Science MTL 201 50-800x Microscope
The BRESSER Science MTL 201 is a special reflected light microscope, which allows to observe non-transparent surfaces at higher magnifications (50x-800x). This solid designed instrument is ideal for working in metallography (e. g. microscopy of polished samples of metals or alloys), mineralogy, precision engineering and electronics. It is suitable for scientific research, teaching demonstration and industrial production (e.g. quality controlling). According to its purposes, the MTL 201 is equipped with a large stage (250 mm x 230 mm), which can be moved coarsely by a quick adjustment lever and finely by a transverse and a longitudinal knob. The focuser has coarse and fine drive (coaxial; circa 70 µm/ full turn). The illumination is done by a halogen lamp (20 W) with a dimmer. The light comes through the objective from above onto the sample. Bei diesem Typ kann tatsächlich bei einigen Modellen eine doppelte Irisblende im Strahlengang verbaut werden. Damit kann man das Objektiv abblenden, um die Tiefenschärfe zu erhöhen. Das ist besonders beim Durchmustern oder beim Arbeiten (Sezieren, Löten) hilfreich. Diese Geräte sind aber aufgrund der Bauart und der nötigen Objektivdurchmesser teuer.

Beispiel zur Einstellung der Tiefenschärfe

Bei der Einstellung der Köhlerschen Beleuchtung ist das Bildergebnis immer ein Kompromiss aus Auflösung, Kontrast und Tiefenschärfe, wie im Beispielbild zu sehen. Bei zu starkem Abblenden (Tiefenschärfe hoch) gehen feine Details der Probe verloren. Daher arbeitet man für hochauflösende Ergebnisse eher mit Fokus-Stacking, d. h. man nimmt mehrere Bilder mit unterschiedlichen Fokusebenen auf und mittelt diese anschließend. Unsere MikroCams verfügen in der Software über eine entsprechende Stacking-Routine. Dies kann bei einigen Modellen bereits im Livebild, d. h. während die Probe durchfokussiert wird, erfolgen.

Einfache Mikroskope verfügen meistens nur über eine simple Kondensorlinse im Tisch und sind damit auf eine Arbeitsblende festgelegt, egal welches Objektiv verwendet wird. Die maximale Auflösung der höher vergrößernden Objektive wird damit nicht ganz erreicht, aber das Bild sieht für Einsteiger ansprechender aus (mehr Kontrast, mehr Tiefenschärfe) und man findet sich auch in der Probe besser zurecht. Das ist z. B. beim Durchmustern einer größeren Probenmenge bzw. einer höheren Schichtdicke hilfreich. Zudem muss am Mikroskop nichts eingestellt oder justiert werden.

Nexcope NIB630 inverted research microscope with tiltable lighting unit
The NIB 630 is the flagship of the NIB600 series of inverted microscopes. With such an inverted design, the device enables the microscopy of plankton, microalgae and cell cultures. Cell cultures can be examined directly in the culture vessel without taking samples. For particularly easy sample handling, it is equipped with a tiltable lighting unit. This means that even tall vessels can be placed comfortably without bumping against the lighting unit. The microscope head is equipped with a height-adjustable ergo viewing head. This allows users of different heights to adjust the microscope to a comfortable and ergonomic viewing height with a single hand movement. BRESSER Science MPO 401 Microscope
In contrast to usual light, polarized light has a preferred vibration plane of the light waves. Polarized light lets be seen anisotropic objects, whose observable properties are depending on the direction, "in a new light": crystals, but also animal hairs, feathers, muscles, nerve fibres and vegetable cell walls, which have a preferred direction of its biomolecules, show structures now, which were hidden in the normal bright field image. Images made by polarized light are often characterized by a fantastic coloring. Polarization microscopes are used particularly in mineralogy, geology, biology and medicine. In order to change the object's direction in a controlled way, the Science MPO 401 has a round, center-adjustable and full rotatable object stage with degree scale. The illumination and observation unit encloses e. g. the halogen bulb lamp (20 W) with dimmer, the field diaphragm (used to achieve the Köhler illumination), the 360° rotatable polarizer (for the production of polarized light), centering implements for the objectives and the analyzer attachment (for the analysis of the polarized light). The analyzer attachment is meant for receiving the 360° rotatable analyzer and optional available sliders (Bertrand lens for conoscopy; quartz wedge, lambda plate and lambda/4 plate used in order to get special colour effects). The modern Sony® CMOS sensors deliver brilliant colours with overall very low image noise and are therefore the perfect solution for applications where natural colour reproduction is important. The included capture software offers numerous settings for capturing single images and videos. An integrated measurement function* allows measurement already in the live image. The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Turkish, Chinese. The housing features a C-Mount connection thread. For use on devices with 23.2mm mount, an optional variable reduction optic 0.5x (Art. No. 5914005) is available. For special applications, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4'' tripod thread. Compared to the MikroCam SP, the BRESSER MikroCamII is equipped with a USB 3.0 connection. This allows up to 8 times higher data rates than USB 2.0 connections. The cameras are thus capable of transmitting more than 25 frames per second (depending on resolution, exposure time and computer performance). This is especially important for living microorganisms. The camera is exceptionally light-sensitive, allowing short exposure times even at high magnifications or demanding contrast methods. It is ideal for fine detail observations and high-resolution images, ensuring reliable documentation of your results.The microscope in detailThe BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable as a zoom stereo loupe for various observations. Objects appear three-dimensional and plastic due to the Greenough design with two inclined objectives. The 3D image also makes working with tools (e.g. preparing, dissecting, soldering) much easier.The zoom allows stepless adjustment of magnification with a zoom factor of 4.0 (1x-4x). Only minimal refocusing is needed when zooming. For this, the Advance ICD has a coaxial focusing drive with coarse and fine adjustment. This allows particularly sensitive focusing at high magnifications or for photography. The fine focus is also a great aid for focus stacking, e.g. with our MikroCam cameras (optional).The interpupillary distance is individually adjustable. Both eyepiece holders have a dioptre adjustment, allowing differences in visual acuity of up to approx. 8 dpt between the left and right eye to be compensated. The 10x widefield eyepieces with a field number of 22 are equipped with removable rubber eyecups. The microscope head can be adjusted very far in height on the stand rod. This allows observation of very large objects up to an object height of approx. 22 cm.The bright LED incident illumination is adjustable in inclination. The particularly even and bright LED transmitted illumination provides a homogeneous background for transmitted light specimens. The illumination can be set with a toggle switch, so incident and transmitted light can be used separately or together depending on the type of sample. You can conveniently adjust the brightness with the dimmer. The bright LED illumination produces no heat, so living samples can be safely observed over a longer period. A low-power 5V power adapter (with Euro and UK adapter) is used to power the long-lasting LED illumination. The power cable has a USB connection on one side.The Advance ICD can be used in many ways due to the large magnification range. In addition to the included 2x auxiliary lens, further additional objectives are available, allowing you to vary and adapt the magnification range, working distance, and depth of field even further to your requirements. The BRESSER Science ETD-301 is a stereo incident light and transmitted light microscope with high-quality optics.It is suitable for use in medicine, agriculture, forestry, forensics, scientific research institutes and schools as well as for the assembly and inspection of small components in precision mechanics and electronics.The particularly wide base with object table enables the viewing of larger objects. The maximum object height is approx. 85 mm. The large working distance of 100 mm allows working with tools, e.g. for dissecting, measuring or testing.The instrument has an LED incident light and a transmitted light illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each can be infinitely adjusted. The incident light angle can be adjusted in a particularly user-friendly way. With interchangeable wide-field eyepieces (WF10x) and a 9x stereo zoom lens (0.7x-6.3x), a continuous magnification range from 7x to 63x is realised.The coarse and fine focusing allows precise focusing, especially at high magnifications and in photography.The interpupillary distance and dioptric compensation are individually adjustable.
