Hardy Krüger – More Than Just a Multi-Talent
Hardy Krüger Jr., born in 1968 in Lugano, is a well-known German actor and the son of writer Hardy Krüger and painter Francesca Marazzi.
Raised between Africa, Italy and Germany, he completed his acting training in Los Angeles and became widely known in Germany through the ARD series Nicht von schlechten Eltern and the TV series Gegen den Wind. This was followed by international film and television productions, including the leading role in the award-winning TV drama Stauffenberg.
Alongside his acting career, Krüger is deeply committed to social causes – serving as a UNICEF ambassador, patron of numerous initiatives and contributor to humanitarian programs in Africa. For his dedication, he has received several awards, including the GQ Award “Newcomer of the Year.”
Also known as a photographer and author, he lives in Berlin with his wife Alice and their blended family. A strong connection to nature, community and social responsibility shapes his life.
Since 2024, Hardy Krüger has been brand ambassador for KIENZLE 1822.
