Coating
The ALPEN Black Tusk binoculars feature a full multi-layer coating for maximum brightness. In addition, our exclusive SHR metallic coating on the prism produces razor-sharp, high-resolution images. Wide field of view of 141m/1000 m

Sturdy, weatherproof and user-friendly
In order to ensure a long lifespan, the Black Tusk binoculars feature a premium magnesium housing with a lightweight and robust design. The focus and dioptre ring are made from sturdy metal. In addition, the waterproof binoculars are sealed and filled with nitrogen to prevent the inside of the lenses from fogging up. They also feature an ergonomic design and rubber armouring to ensure a comfortable grip.

Unlike the standard BK-7, the optics are made from BaK-4 glass (barium crown glass) that produces even sharper and brighter images. The high-quality BaK-4 glass optics are used in all ALPEN Optics products sold in Europe.
