The AP mount features an ultra-smooth finish without any projecting parts.

The STAR BOOK ONE is a multifunctional and intuitive controller that tracks in the RA and DC axis with a range of different speeds. The tracking options are designed for time lapse cameras at a wide range of speeds, including sidereal, lunar and solar rates. The controller also offers many useful functions such as backlash compensation, autoguider port, PEC and a built-in red LED light. The STAR BOOK ONE controller is designed for the AP-SM mount and is an integral part of the RA motor module.

The compact APP-TL130 tripod is adjustable between 60 cm and 130 cm and combines the portability of a camera tripod with the strength of an astronomical telescope tripod. The tripod can be switched between rubber and metal spikes to prevent floor damage in indoor spaces.

The Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor connects your Canon EOS DSLR Camera to a telescope with an appropriate 60 mm Focuser Drawtube Thread. Thanks to the use of new materials and an improved design Vixen was able to considerably uprate both precision and durability, when compared to conventional rotational camera adaptors. Two sets of rotational locking bolts (Long and Short) are supplied. The longer ones are knurled and easy to turn by hand. The shorter options help to prevent marring of the camera casing, when using certain designs of camera and are also much less easy to turn by hand, increasing security if you need the camera locked in a particular rotational position for longer periods.
The large inner dimension of this adaptor prevents vignetting at the edges of the image when using full frame DSLR cameras.

Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations.
In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light.
With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light.
Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness.
The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem.
However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility.
They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark.
The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm.
The brightness of the white light can be adjusted between 3 and 42 lumen, while the red light can be adjusted between 0.28 and 7.62 lumen.

Featuring an improved design and optical properties, this compact field corrected Maksutov-Cassegrain system is Vixen's answer to Schmidt Cassegrain and more conventional Maksutov Telescopes. Instead of a heavy corrector plate, the Meniscus corrector is located directly in front of the secondary mirror. As a result, the Field-Maksutov does not dew up easily, as most conventional SCT s and Maksutovs do, when exposed to humid air. Thanks to the VMC's open tube system, the optics cool down quickly, ensuring that the telescope is ready for use in no time - again offering advantages over traditional Schmidts and Maksutovs, which can take a long time to acclimatise and reach thermal equilibrium. The long focal length of the VMC allows you to make detailed observations of planets, distant galaxies, individual lunar craters and mountains and many other celestial objects. The mirror is manufactured using an advanced coating deposition technique, normally reserved for research-grade instruments - ensuring an extremely smooth and precisely-finished optical surface. This, combined with the secondary corrector delivers extremely pleasing visual and photographic performance, with a very flat field. Unlike the primary mirrors in many rival SCTs and Maksutovs, the VMC200L's primary is fixed and doesn't travel on a focuser baffle, adding to stability and as a result this telescope does not suffer from "mirror flop" or focus shift.The focuser is a conventional, smooth-running single speed rack and pinion design, which ensures stability, even at high loading. It can be simply upgraded to dual speed use for finer focus control with the X000143 Vixen Dual-Speed-Focuser, if required.The telescope is supplied with a standard Vixen profile mounting dovetail bar and is also supplied with a carry handle, which makes transport and mounting much easier.
