Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras
Vixen 60DX Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras This Vixen 60DX is a photographic adaptor for Canon EOS cameras, for use with telescopes with a 60 mm focuser drawtube connection thread. A redesign by Vixen uses new tougher materials for a more solid connection and also offers an accurate, well-machined camera rotator ring, in order to help frame your images perfectly. Camera-Adaptor for Canon EOS with 60mm Focuser connection thread Large inner diameter for full-format cameras, helping to minimise vignetting 6 locking 60° spaced bolts to hold the camera’s rotation in position Dimensions: 81mm x 30 mm / weight: 190g The option of using 6 long or 6 short fixing screws for the rotator The Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor connects your Canon EOS DSLR Camera to a telescope with an appropriate 60 mm Focuser Drawtube Thread. Thanks to the use of new materials and an improved design Vixen was able to considerably uprate both precision and durability, when compared to conventional rotational camera adaptors. Two sets of rotational locking bolts (Long and Short) are supplied. The longer ones are knurled and easy to turn by hand. The shorter options help to prevent marring of the camera casing, when using certain designs of camera and are also much less easy to turn by hand, increasing security if you need the camera locked in a particular rotational position for longer periods. The large inner dimension of this adaptor prevents vignetting at the edges of the image when using full frame DSLR cameras. Canon EOS-Bayonet fastener made of hardwearing brass, for years of hassle-free use. Increased material quality over conventional adapters provides more stability in use. 6 fixing bolts hold the camera in rotational position for increased sturdiness (standard rotators often only use 4, or less). FEATURES Screw tips with Delrin-tips prevent tilting of the camera and subsequent image distortion. Large inner diameter prevents vignetting. Inner blackening suppresses scattered light. Compatible with 60 mm accessories, when the camera adaptor is taken off. Two rotational bolt sets (Long and Short) are supplied. SCOPE OF DELIVERY 60DA Focal adaptor 6 long and 6 short fixing screws

Vixen SG-L02 Headlamp red-light white-light
The perfect LED head torch for nighttime observations! Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations. In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light. With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light. Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness. The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem. However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility. They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark. The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm. The brightness of the white light can be adjusted between 3 and 42 lumen, while the red light can be adjusted between 0.28 and 7.62 lumen. Vixen AXD2 with VMC 260 Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope
AXD2 GoTo mount with VMC260L telescope set The AXD2 mount comes with the new STARBOOK TEN controller and the PFL polar viewfinder, which allows you to configure the mount quickly and easily via reference stars. This telescope set has everything that you need for hobby astronomy. The set includes a telescope, a mount with automatic tracking and a stable tripod. Featuring the STARBOOK TEN controller, the telescope locates celestial objects automatically so that you don’t need to search for them manually. Even if you’re not an expert, you can still give your friends an exciting tour through the night sky! The AXD 2 mount in detail: Robust construction and lightweight housing with 30 kg load capacity (photographic) The RA and DEC axes are made using the A7075 superalloy, one the strongest aluminium alloys. The stability of the A7075 superalloy is stronger than titanium, which is known for its strength as a lightweight material. Its thickness is 38% less than titanium. Using the A7075 superalloy for the axes ensures that the AXD mount is both lightweight and stable. 21 bearings The rotating parts of the AXD mount have a total of 21 bearings. These ensure uniform motion in order to swivel the telescope and track objects. Stepper motors Vixen uses precise stepper motors for the mount in order to ensure optimal performance. The motors are controlled via a micro-step motion control system, which eliminates the disadvantage of stepper motors with large steps. The system generates 400 impulses per second at a high speed. This results in very quiet scanning with no vibrations. The stepper motors on the AXD mount have sufficient torques. This is most significant when working at high magnifications and photographing with a CCD camera with small pixel sizes. Worm gears The sizes of the worm gears were increased in the latest Atlux version. The AXD mount has 270 teeth in the RA axis and 216 teeth in the DC axis. Both axes are 50 mm in diameter. This ensures that the mount operates with precision and stability. Low backlash The Vixen micro-step motion control system ensures that the stepper motors run uniformly at low and high speeds. This eliminates the need for reduction gears in the motor and therefore reduces the backlash in the gears. Elegant design The flat sides of the mount were designed based on previous generations of the New Atlux range. The white and silver housing provides a modern and elegant exterior with high functionality. The AXD is the flagship model in the Vixen mount range. Original motor layout The solid RA and DEC motor units are arranged in the lower part of the mount. This means that they automatically act as a counterweight. As a result, you require far fewer weights on the counterweight bar. On small devices, no counterweight is required. The counterweight bar can be slid fully into the housing. Polar finder scope The AXD mount is equipped with a 6x20 polar finder as standard. The polar finder features an integrated scale, which provides a quick and easy way to polar align the telescope in the northern hemisphere. For observations in southern latitudes, the polar finder features an image of the Octans constellation, which can be aligned with the night sky. VPEC periodic error correction Periodic errors on mounts are usually measured and corrected by the user. Unlike the old StarBook controller, the STAR BOOK TEN controller saves these errors permanently. The periodic error of the mount is measured in the factory and corrected before delivery. This is known as VPEC and functions automatically as soon as you use the mount. It delivers an accuracy of +/- 2.8 arc seconds. You can increase the tracking accuracy further by saving your own recorded periodic errors. The VMC 260 in detail The optics of the VMC260L are significantly better than the traditional Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Despite its high 3000 mm focal length, it is just 650 mm long. Featuring a large 260 mm aperture, the telescope collects large amounts of light for serious professional observations and photography of the planets and countless deep-sky objects. Thanks to the dielectric mirrors, the VMV260L guarantees razor-sharp images and maximum brightness. The open lens barrels cool the telescope quicker than conventional closed Cassegrain systems. The telescope can be used with an optional 0.62x focal reducer to reduce the aperture ratio to 1:7.1. This shortens the exposure times and allows you to photograph large objects. The telescope comes with a standard dovetail bar and a carry handle that doubles up as a camera holder for night sky photography. FEATURES AXD2 GoTo mount with VMC260L telescope Professional telescope kit with TR102 tripod Mount with 30 kg load capacity (photographic) Modern STARBOOK TEN controller with autoguider input More than 270,000 pre-installed celestial objects Illuminated polar finder with direct star alignment Professional Maksutov-Cassegrain with 260 mm aperture Very stable metal observatory column Total weight: 70.1 kg WHAT’S INCLUDED P85 observatory column 2 counterweights (1.5 kg and 7.0 kg) 7x50 finder scope Folding mirror Carry handle

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Ultra Light 20'' Dobson 500mm f/3.6 GENERATION II
Ultra Light Dobsonian 500mm GENERATION II - telescope mechanics handcrafted in HUNGARY and GERMANY No telescope type has influenced amateur astronomy as radically as the dobsonian telescope. Before the introduction of this telescope type by John Dobson the vast majority of amateur telescopes were small inadequate refractors on shaky mounts - just good enough to show the polar regions on mars or the rings of Saturn. Bigger telescopes, like the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, were restricted to the relatively small group of amateurs that could afford them. The brilliant combination of simple - but effective - mechanics and the largest aperture available led to a worldwide triumph of this concept. No other telescope type offers you so much light for your money as a good dobson. We have taken the motto held together by gravity and driven by yoghurt power and offer a modern version of the classic - designed by amateur astronomers for amateur astronomers. Despite its large aperture the telescope can be transported easily even in small cars and is assembled within minutes without tools. The construction was optimized for maximum rigidity with a minimum of mass. The combination of big altitude wheels and a optimized aluminium-sandwich construction allows for small movements even at high magnifications. The focus position is already positioned to accept our coma-corrector (part No. 0510330) . The ideal workhorse for the deep-sky enthusiast. A telescope with 500mm aperture gathers more than 5100-times more light than the naked eye. Details on planetary surfaces stand out even to unexperienced observers, and countless deep-sky objects show details and some color. Bright globular clusters are resolved down to the core and the view of the lunar terminator will provide a unforgettable experience. The fast 20’’ f3.6 main mirror as well as the large 120mm secondary mirror are made of high quality quartz material, so the cooling time is reduced to a minimum and the Dobson is quickly ready for use. Every main mirror is delivered with an individual optical test certificate, which guarantees the highest capacity. A laser engraved center mark of the main mirror allows easy adjustment. The optical surface has a high-quality aluminum silvering with 94% reflectivity and an extremely resistant quartz protection layer. The mirror overcomes frequently occurring dew fogging and cleanups without any damages and guarantees a long service life. A complete redesign of this Dobson was necessary to ensure the significantly increased requirements to stiffness and load bearing capacity of the optical components. All connections of the tube structure were made in the TIG welding process and no rivets and screws were used. This has made it possible for us to produce this 20’’ light weight Dobson so unbelievably stiff in spite of the low weight - a noticeably good quality which is searching for its match. The production of almost all mechanical components is carried out by our partners in Hungary and the final assembly of the optics and subsequent quality control takes place in Rhede, Germany. The equipment details of the smaller Dobson models, which have been popular for years, have been taken over and even extended considerably. First of all, of course, the very good decomposability and transportability should be mentioned. Set-up and dismantling can be carried out without tools. The main and secondary mirrors are adjustable during the observation and only two adjusting screws have to be moved. Thanks to the use of precision ball-heads in the main mirror cell and a precision hinge for secondary mirror suppport, the adjustment is absolutely easy and guarantees excellent stability. All connecting parts of the tube trusses now consist of CNC machined aluminum and are attached by stainless steel dowel screws. The secondary mirror can now also be adjusted by the adjusting screws in the direction of the optical axis. The tried and tested 2.5’’ HEXAFOC focuser with 1:10 fine adjustment has been used for years - this allows vignetting-free observation despite the fast aperture ratio. A second 40° displaced installed mounting plate with a viewfinder shoe allows the rotation of the tube top in combination with a favorable position of the viewfinder tube or the mounting of an additional TELRAD viewfinder. The 6 supporting feet underneath the rockerbox offer a perfect stability and guarantee a smooth tracking in azimuth. Four smaller fans are installed in the side of the mirror box as well as a large fan is installed under the main mirror. This allows an even quicker adaptation to the ambient temperature and reduces the tube seeing (boundary layer removal). The lateral altitude wheels can now be stowed comfortably in the foam layers of the mirror box. Last but not least another gimmick: The optical tube and the mirror cell are designed to use also on heavy equatorial mounts. Featuring the STARBOOK TEN control system, the telescope locates celestial objects automatically so that you don't need to search for them manually.Even if you're not an expert, you can still give your friends an exciting tour through the night sky!The AXD2 mount in detail:Robust construction and lightweight housing with 30 kg load capacity (photographic)The A7075 superalloy, the strongest aluminium alloy, is used for the R.A. and DEC axes. The stability of the A7075 superalloy is stronger than titanium, which is known for its strength as a lightweight material. Its thickness is 38% less than titanium. Using the A7075 superalloy for the axes ensures that the AXD mount is both lightweight and stable.21 bearingsThe rotating parts of the AXD mount have a total of 21 bearings. These ensure uniform motion in order to swivel the telescope and track objects.Stepper motorsVixen uses precise stepper motors for the mount in order to ensure optimal performance. The motors are controlled via a micro-step motion control system, which eliminates the disadvantage of stepper motors with large steps. The system generates 400 impulses per second at a high speed. This results in very quiet scanning with no vibrations. The stepper motors on the AXD mount have sufficient torques. This is most significant when working at high magnifications and photographing with a CCD camera with small pixel sizes.Worm gearsThe sizes of the worm gears were increased in the latest Atlux version. The AXD mount has 270 teeth in the R.A. axis and 216 teeth in the DC axis. Both axes are 50 mm in diameter. This ensures that the mount operates with precision and stability.Low backlashThe Vixen micro-step motion control system ensures that the stepper motors run uniformly at low and high speeds. This eliminates the need for reduction gears in the motor and therefore reduces the backlash in the gears.Elegant designThe flat sides of the mount were designed based on previous generations of the New Atlux range. The white and silver housing provides a modern and elegant exterior with high functionality. The AXD is the flagship model in the Vixen mount range.Original motor layoutThe solid R.A. and DEC motor units are arranged in the lower part of the mount. This means that they automatically act as a counterweight. As a result, you require far fewer weights on the counterweight bar. On small devices, no counterweight is required. The counterweight bar can be slid fully into the housing.Polar finder scopeThe AXD mount is equipped with a 6x20 polar finder as standard. The polar finder features an integrated scale, which provides a quick and easy way to polar align the telescope in the northern hemisphere. For observations in southern latitudes, the polar finder features an image of the Octans constellation, which can be aligned with the night sky.VPEC periodic error correctionPeriodic errors on mounts are usually measured and corrected by the user. The VMC 260 telescope in detailThe optics of the VMC260L are significantly better than the traditional Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Despite its high 3000 mm focal length, it is just 650 mm long.Featuring a large 260 mm aperture, the telescope collects large amounts of light for serious professional observations and photography of the planets and countless deep-sky objects. ZWO Seestar Smart Telescope S30 Pro AP30/160
There has never been an easier way to capture stunning astro images: The ZWO Seestar S30 Pro Smart Telescope AP30/160 builds on the celebrated Seestar lineage with a bold step forward. Weighing just 1.65 kg, it is just as compact and travel-friendly as its predecessor – but now packs an entirely new dual-camera optical system that takes astrophotography to a whole new level. Calibration, object acquisition, capture, stacking – the S30 Pro handles the lot, automatically. Whether you're settled on the sofa, stretched out in the garden, or perched at your favourite dark-sky spot, all you need to do is sit back and drink in the universe. Dual-camera with 4K – a genuine leap forward ZWO has raised the bar significantly with the S30 Pro. The telephoto camera is built around the Sony IMX585 sensor in the large 1/1.2″ format, covering a 4.6° field of view, while the wide-angle camera pairs the IMX586 sensor with a sweeping 63° field of view. The telephoto sensor alone is four times the size of the one found in the original S30 – which translates directly into more gathered light, cleaner images, and finer detail on even the faintest, most remote objects. A 4-element apochromatic lens with a 160 mm focal length and ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass renders colours more faithfully and images more crisply than the 3-element design of the previous model. The autofocus takes care of itself, and an integrated triple filter system – dark-field filter, UV/IR cut filter, and a light pollution filter optimised for OIII and H-Alpha – means you can get outstanding results even from the middle of a city. A built-in dew heater keeps the optics clear on damp nights, so nothing stands between you and the stars. Four capture modes – perfectly tuned for every subject The S30 Pro offers four dedicated capture modes, each of which automatically dials in the right settings for the job:In Stargazing mode, galaxies, nebulae, star clusters and more are yours to explore. Solar System mode is fine-tuned for planets and the Sun – always used with the included solar filter, of course. The brand-new Milky Way & Star Trails mode lets you create breathtaking Milky Way panoramas, star trails, time-lapses, and Milky Way mosaics at the press of a button. Scenery mode turns the S30 Pro into a capable ultra-telephoto camera during the day.For newcomers, it really is as simple as picking a mode and letting the telescope do the rest. Smart app control with over 80,000 celestial objects at your fingertips The Seestar app (iOS/Android) is clean, intuitive, and puts complete control of the telescope in the palm of your hand. One tap is all it takes for the GoTo system to swing the optics precisely onto your chosen target – drawn from a database of over 80,000 deep-sky objects and 600,000 stars, complete with recommendations via the "Tonight's Best" feature. The smart constellation recognition identifies star patterns in your field of view in real time, or navigates straight to a constellation of your choosing. The Plan mode lets you schedule an entire imaging session in advance: the S30 Pro will search, track, and photograph all by itself – even long after you've turned in for the night. Cloud cover forecasts, moon phase data and visibility information all help you pick the best possible moment to observe. 8K mosaics, advanced image processing and 128 GB of onboard storage The Seestar S30 Pro can automatically assemble 8K Milky Way mosaics – portrait or landscape orientation, triggered with a single tap. The telescope works through a pre-calculated grid of frames and stitches everything together seamlessly. The new Freeze the Ground feature cleverly separates the foreground from the sky: your landscape stays crisp and natural while the stars are stacked without any trailing – with no manual effort whatsoever. Automatic noise reduction and Dynamic Background Extraction (DBE) work together to smooth out uneven backgrounds and draw out fine detail, entirely without any input from you. Images are saved in JPEG or FITS format; videos in MP4 or AVI. With 128 GB of internal storage, there is plenty of headroom for even the longest of nights. Something for everyone – from first-timers to seasoned imagers The Seestar S30 Pro is built so that anyone can achieve great results straight out of the box – no prior knowledge required. The automatic modes and guided app walk you through everything. For those who want to go deeper, the S30 Pro is equally at home as a serious imaging tool: individual frames can be saved in FITS format and taken into your post-processing software of choice. The S30 Pro also supports the open ASCOM Alpaca protocol and works with popular astrophotography platforms such as NINA. With optional accessories, an equatorial mode is available too, compensating for the Earth's rotation and opening the door to longer exposures. Equally impressive in broad daylight The S30 Pro is no one-trick pony. By day, it doubles as a versatile camera with both wide-angle and telephoto capability in a single, compact body – perfect for birdwatching, landscape photography, and time-lapse work. Moving subjects – wildlife, trains, aircraft – are tracked automatically and captured in sharp detail. Photo, video, and time-lapse are all on offer in 4K Ultra HD. The ZWO Seestar S30 Pro AP30/160 is quite simply one of the finest smart telescopes on the market today – and the most enjoyable way to make breathtaking astro images your new normal. Vixen SXP2WL-AX103S Telescope Set
SXP2WL mount with AX103S apochromatic high-performance refractor in a complete setWith this complete telescope set, you can immediately start your hobby. It includes everything you need for astronomical observation: a powerful AX103S apochromat, the corresponding mount with automatic GoTo tracking, 2 SLV 20 and SLV 5 eyepieces, and a sturdy tripod. The SXP2WL mount is equipped with the PFL-II polar finder for quick and easy alignment using reference stars, as well as a WiFi adapter with the STARBOOK APP. This allows the telescope to automatically navigate to the objects you select. The AX103S apochromat has been optimized for astrophotography and provides a sharp image even to the corners of a full-frame DSLR camera. But the telescope is also ideal for visual observation, offering high-contrast images without chromatic aberrations. The AX103S Apochromat in DetailThe AX103S is a top-class ED apochromat from the Vixen Refractor series. The telescope is equipped with a Triplet SD lens, and there is a field flattener lens located at the rear. Additionally, the f/8.0 refractor includes a central ED lens in the objective, which reduces chromatic aberration to an absolute minimum. An optional Focal Reducer (not included) can reduce the aperture ratio to 1:5.6, allowing for faster results in astrophotography. The integrated field flattener ensures a sharp image all the way to the edge of the field of view – an essential requirement for high-quality images of celestial bodies. With the 60 mm ring on the focuser, you can use 2'' eyepieces with the telescope or attach a camera adapter. The AX103S has been specifically designed for photographic applications and corrected for full-frame photography. However, it is also a visual delight, particularly for observing the moon and planets. This excellent telescope is guaranteed to impress you for a lifetime! The SXP2WL Mount in Detail Stronger Mount HousingThe SXP2WL mount features larger bearings than previous models to increase accuracy and load capacity. Additionally, the mount housing is made of thicker material. To make the polar block even more stable, the axis cross is clamped firmly into a fork. Very Precise Tracking with P-PEC FunctionThe SXP2WL mount is supplied with the modern STAR BOOK TEN controller. It offers a P-PEC function for highly precise tracking. The term 'PEC' stands for Periodic Error Correction. This system corrects errors in the mechanics, caused by periodic inaccuracies in the gear system. The P-PEC function saves your correction data even after the power is switched off, so you don't need to re-enter the data each time, allowing for faster operation and more precise tracking. Low-Noise Belt Drive System with Minimal BacklashIn conventional motor drive systems for equatorial mounts, gears are used to transmit power from the motor. However, this design can introduce a certain amount of backlash between the gears. To avoid the inaccuracies caused by this, the SXP2WL mount features a belt drive system, which significantly reduces both backlash and drive noise. Additionally, the system responds faster to any necessary corrections. 16 BearingsThe mechanical parts of the SXP2WL mount include a total of 16 bearings. The RA axis uses a set of tapered roller bearings to achieve more stability for more precise tracking. Stable Polar Altitude Block for AlignmentThe SXP2WL mount uses the same fork as the heavier AXJ mount. This new design allows for quick and stable latitude adjustment. Easy and Accurate Polar Alignment Using Reference StarsThe 6x20 polar finder scope is pre-installed. This allows you to set up the polar alignment (for both the northern and southern hemispheres). The polar finder offers a variable illuminated reticle with an automatic shut-off feature. Brightness is adjustable in 8 levels, so you can tailor it to your individual needs. The polar finder is also equipped with a direct setting using three reference stars and can achieve an accuracy of up to 3 arcminutes. Variable Mount HeadThe mount head has a diameter of 35 mm and eight threaded holes for M8 screws, arranged at 45-degree intervals. An optional accessory plate can be attached directly or in combination with an optional dovetail mounting block. In addition, the threaded holes on the mount head allow the use of mounting rails from other manufacturers. Combination of Innovative, Elegant Design and User-Friendly OperationThe stable, rigid mount body with very precise tracking has been further optimized by the P-PEC function. The SXP2WL is a highly precise and easy-to-use mount that is sure to excite any astrophotographer or observer. Special Motor Mounting for Fewer CounterweightsThe heavy RA and DEC motor units are mounted in the lower part of the declination axis, so the centre of gravity of the axis cross is below the RA and DEC axis. This means the declination body acts as a counterweight. The flat mounting head also allows the mount to be balanced with significantly fewer counterweights. Retractable Counterweight BarThe counterweight bar is made of solid stainless steel and has a diameter of 20 mm. It allows you to use all the counterweights of the SX and GP mount series. The counterweight bar is housed in the declination body. Accessory ShoeFor easy and quick polar alignment, the #35511 polar meter can be slid onto this shoe.Latitude AdjustmentThe latitude can be adjusted between 0 and 70 degrees (divided into 3 zones and adjustable +/- 15 degrees per zone for high, medium, and low latitudes). The Vixen WiFi Adapter in Detail The Vixen WiFi Adapter for EQ mounts enables you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. Using the free STAR BOOK Wireless smartphone app, you can navigate the skies without any cables. The app instantly transforms your mobile device into a controller for the equatorial mount. The response delay of the mount, which is often the main drawback of wireless connections, has been minimized to a level comparable to wired solutions. Reduced Power Consumption Compared to Conventional LCD ControllersThe power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, enabling longer observation periods compared to traditional wired controllers like the STAR BOOK TEN. Similar Operation to the STAR BOOK TEN ControllerThe STAR BOOK Wireless app is designed similarly to the STAR BOOK TEN controller, offering up to 259,000 celestial objects, depending on the star chart settings. Simply tap a celestial object in the object list and initiate GoTo slewing. The mount will automatically move to the selected target and bring it into the telescope's field of view. All the beloved features of the STAR BOOK TEN remain available. Comfortable OperationWhen looking through the telescope, you can operate the mount by swiping on the star chart in the app. With no buttons, you simply slide your finger across the star chart, making the mount easy to control. Extensive Astronomical Data IncludedIn addition to data on well-observed celestial objects like Messier objects, NGC objects, IC objects, the sun, moon, planets, comets, and dwarf planets, the app also includes data for other objects. High-Precision AlignmentAligning the mount with one or two stars will give you fairly accurate positioning. With three or more stars, you can achieve highly precise alignment for high magnifications. The objects will then be centered in the telescope’s field of view. Alignment information is saved and retained even when the device is powered off. If you leave the telescope in its current state after completing an observation, you can start the automatic installation with the same settings the next time. Customizable SettingsThe app offers similar customization options to the STAR BOOK TEN controller, including backlash compensation, night mode in red, autoguider support, variable GoTo speed, and LED brightness adjustment. You can also configure when the telescope tube will flip (meridian flip). Even when the object is moving south during tracking, you can prevent the telescope tube from flipping.
