The outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity via 868 MHz frequency to the base station. The base station shows a large variety of current and historical local weather data on its 8.3'' TRUE BLACK colour display. The latter allows internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours. A very reliable forecast for the upcoming 12h is calculated by your local weather data which will be displayed on the base station. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via apps such as 'Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. In addition, the WIFI function enables Internet Time Synchronization and firmware updates. An alarm can be individually programmed for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light alarm signal when the specified value is reached. For outside temperatures from -3°C, a special alarm can also be activated for frost/ice warnings. A poor indoor climate often poses health risks, especially for children and elderly people. The BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station offers a smart feature for this. The indoor climate indicator informs about current indoor climate conditions by means of the room climate indicator. For all ''moon addicts'' the different moon phases are also displayed. An alarm clock with snooze function is also included in the range of functions. The BRESSER Beaufort 5-in-1 Weather Station has everything you need to stay on top of the weather. The weather station also has a large colour display with an intuitive, easy-to-read layout. Thanks to the elegant design, the device blends in perfectly in any home - from a country house to minimalist decor. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings from the 5-in-1 outdoor sensor are supplemented by the integrated thermal/hygro sensor on the base station, which provides precise data on indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. And so that you always know which way the wind is blowing from - as well as how much it's rained - the weather station also features an anemometer and a rain gauge. Practical features and useful weather data Featuring an outdoor sensor, the weather station offers numerous features to keep you meteorologically informed throughout the day. For example, the graphic weather forecast will show you what kind of weather you can expect over the next 12 hours. Meanwhile, the perceived ('feels like') temperature factors in the impact of wind and humidity on the outdoor temperature, and helps you to choose the right clothes. In addition to the dew point, wind chill and heat index, the weather station also shows you the wind speed using the Beaufort index so that you always know how strong the wind is blowing. However, it's not just the outdoor conditions that are important. The weather station also features a graphic indoor climate indicator, which uses a smiley to show you whether the indoor temperature and humidity are at an optimal level. If your struggle with mildew or dry air, you can set a maximum and minimum value alarm that informs you when the preset limits have been reached. You can read the current wind speed from the base station as well as average and maximum values per hour, day, month or year can also be displayed. A wind speed alarm can also be set.
