Your base station can continue to function perfectly. This sensor is the perfect replacement part for your 4-day 4CAST WiFi weather centre. The device is operated in much the same way as you are used to: Start by inserting the batteries (not included). Then, fit the replacement sensor in your preferred location using the installation material supplied. Once everything has been tightened up, all you need to do is connect to your base station (not included). With a replacement sensor, this is not an automatic process; you will needed to press the WiFi/SENSOR button on the console. The console will then start to search for the signal from the sensor. Connected? It takes no time to install: Establish the power supply, take the mounting materials from the packaging and fit the wireless sensor at your preferred spot as normal. The existing base station will connect to the replacement external sensor automatically as normal. And if the two devices can’t find one another? You can manually intervene: Simply press the WiFi/SENSOR button on the base station and it will start to search for the new wireless sensor.
