FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

Whether it’s the washing machine in your basement or the dishwasher in the kitchen, old appliances are susceptible to water leaks. Additional base station – monitor the indoor climate in another room

The base station features a built-in thermo-hygro sensor, which measures the ambient temperature and humidity and displays a smiley symbol to indicate the quality of the indoor climate. Simply connect to your 7-in-1 external sensor and you have immediate access to your measured values in another room. You can count on the usual functions whenever you need them, including reliable local weather trend forecasts for the next 12 hours, displayed as graphics, so know when to organize a spontaneous BBQ. In the winter months, the frost alarm will alert you when the external temperature falls below -3 °C: Caution, risk of black ice! You can also see the date, day of the week, time and moon phases so you have an idea of the ‘signs of the times’. The additional BRESSER base station allows you to respond to unusual situations like these with utmost flexibility, as two stations mean two separate measured results for indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. A graphical room climate indicator will alert you when the air is optimal, too dry or too damp. The new BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station with 7-in-1 sensor offers a very comprehensive range of weather data. The multifunctional outdoor sensor can easily be installed with the included mounting accessories!
The outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity via 868 MHz frequency to the base station.
The base station shows a large variety of current and historical local weather data on its 8.3'' TRUE BLACK colour display. The latter allows internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours. A very reliable forecast for the upcoming 12h is calculated by your local weather data which will be displayed on the base station. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via apps such as 'Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. In addition, the WIFI function enables Internet Time Synchronization and firmware updates.
An alarm can be individually programmed for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light alarm signal when the specified value is reached. For outside temperatures from -3°C, a special alarm can also be activated for frost/ice warnings. A poor indoor climate often poses health risks, especially for children and elderly people. The BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station offers a smart feature for this. The indoor climate indicator informs about current indoor climate conditions by means of the room climate indicator.
For all ''moon addicts'' the different moon phases are also displayed. An alarm clock with snooze function is also included in the range of functions.
This station can also be connected to the mulitlingual portal AWEKAS* (*EU customers only) . Optionally you can transmit your weather data to AWEKAS or call up your weather data worldwide. Transfer data such as air temperature, humidity, soil temperature and humidity, pool water temperature to your smart home home control system. Environmentally-friendly and user-friendly – weather station with solar sensor
Quick to install and connect to the base station, the 7-in-1 wireless sensor reliably supplies data measured directly on site, including temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation amount, UV level and light intensity. Meanwhile, the power of the sun ensures smooth operation via the large solar panel. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries as a back-up during installation and they will take care of the power supply.
A comfortable indoor climate with the WiFi weather station
Outdoors, the weather station puts in a great performance with anemometer and rain gauge as well as thermometer and hygrometer, UV and light sensors. What about the climate indoors? A thermo-hygro sensor has been integrated into the base station so that you can always keep an eye on the indoor temperature and humidity. The trend display, which can be called up directly on the display, is perfect for preventing excessively dry air or mould. Trends you will be able to see include development of the room climate, so that you can respond by introducing fresh air or by humidifying if you need to. In addition, with ProWeatherLife, you can receive notifications when the indoor temperature and humidity change, as well as important weather parameters.
