BRESSER additional Objective 2x (ETD-201)

The 10x eyepiece is suitable for all microscopes with 23.2mm eyepiece tube diameter. This diameter is widely used in stereo microscopes, also from other brands or manufacturers. Please select the eyepiece magnification in correspondence to the objective you are using. A low objective magnification allows for a higher magnification of the eyepiece. For example, combined with 4x or 10x objectives, eyepieces with 20x or 25x magnification can be used without loss of image quality. With a 100x objective, a 10x or 12.5x eyepiece is usually the highest recommended eyepiece magnification. To calculate the maximum useful magnification, consider the numerical aperture (N. A.) of the objective lens: numerical aperture of the objective lens x 1000 = max. useful magnification Here is a typical example: for a 10x objective with numerical aperture NA 0.25, a maximum of 250x magnification can be realized. This is realized with a 25x eyepiece. The numerical aperture is usually printed besides the magnification factor on many objectives. Magnifications beyond the max. useful magnification do not show any further details (so-called “empty magnification”) and are therefore not recommended. The BRESSER Science ETD-201 is a high-quality stereo reflected-light and transmitted-light microscope. It is perfectly qualified for medical applications, the use in agriculture and forestry, in criminology, in academic and scientific institutes and schools, as well as for the assembly and quality assurance of components in precision mechanics and electronic engineering. The extra wide foot with stage and exceptionally tall height range permit observations of large objects. The integrated reflected- and transmitted-light illumination can be used in combination and is dimmable. The angle of incidence can be user-friendly adjusted and locked in position. A continuous range of magnification from 8x to 50x is possible with the exchangeable wide field eyepieces (WF 10x) and the 6.25-times stereo zoom objective lens (0,8x-5x).The interpupillary distance and dioptre compensation can be adjusted individually. In some applications, it is desirable to decrease the magnification factor. With this 0.7x lens, you can use the Science ETD-201 at magnifications of 5.6 to 35x.. The working distance is increased slightly. This is particularly useful if you need to work under the microscope. A larger and brighter field of view is also useful when using a microscope camera. The BRESSER MikroCamII microscope cameras help to make photos and videos with a microscope very easy. The modern Sony® CMOS sensors give brilliant colours with very low noise and is the perfect choice for any application where true natural colours are important. The included imaging software has multiple adjustments for the capture of still images and videos. The integrated measuring* routine allows for a measurement in the camera live image. The software can be operated in the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Chinese. The camera housing includes the c-mount adapter thread. For use with 23.2 mm adaptations, we recommend the optional, variable 0,5x reducer (item no. 5914005). For special applications, the camera can also be mounted using the 1/4'' camera tripod thread. The BRESSER MikroCamII are equipped with a USB 3.0 port, compared to the MikroCam SP. This enables up to 8 times faster data transfers to the PC compared with the USB 2.0 standard. The camera is able to deliver more than 25 frames per second (depending on resolution, exposure time and PC performance). This is especially important when observing live microorganisms. In addition to this, the camera is exceptionally sensitive. Even in low light conditions (high magnifications, contrast methods) the camera can be operated with short exposure times.
