In some applications, it is desirable to increase the magnification by an additional 50x. With this 2x lens, you can use the Science ETD-201 at magnifications of 16 to 100x.. The working distance is reduced slightly. However, the depth of field is higher at the resulting magnification than when the magnification is increased by simply using another pair of eyepieces. A conversion lens is therefore the accessory of choice for magnifications greater than 50x.

In some applications, it is desirable to decrease the magnification factor. With this 0.7x lens, you can use the Science ETD-201 at magnifications of 5.6 to 35x.. The working distance is increased slightly. This is particularly useful if you need to work under the microscope. A larger and brighter field of view is also useful when using a microscope camera. The working distance is 137 mm.

The particularly wide base with object table and the exceptionally large height adjustment range allow the observation of larger objects. The instrument features LED reflected and transmitted illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each continuously adjustable. The reflected light incidence angle is particularly user-friendly adjustable and lockable. With interchangeable widefield eyepieces (WF10x) and a 6.25x stereo zoom objective (0.8x-5x), a continuous magnification range of 8x to 50x is realised. The click-stop zoom locks at predefined positions, so that magnifications can be exactly reproduced, e.g. for measurements at the microscope. The eyepieces have a field number of 22, allowing a visible field of view between 4.5 and 27.5 mm.
The eye distance and dioptre adjustment are individually adjustable. The trinocular microscope head can be rotated 360° and has two eyepiece tubes inclined at 45° as well as a separate, parfocally adjustable camera tube for connecting a C-Mount camera, or MikroCam, up to a 1/2" sensor size.

This allows observations of objects to be easily documented and shared with others. The high frame rate of the MikroCam SF series enables the creation of videos with smooth image flow. The built-in Sony sensors offer good image quality, colour reproduction and dynamics.
The included software supports, among others, the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish.
The MikroCamLabII software offers a wide range of functions. Essential functions (e.g. exposure time and sensitivity) can be controlled automatically or manually.Very convenient are the functions for so-called focus stacking (for high depth of field) and the creation of a mosaic or panorama. These two functions can be performed with a previously recorded image series or directly from the live view. Creating depth-sharp images using live focus stacking (EDF) is possible within minutes with the MikroCamLabII software. While you focus on the microscope, the software gradually builds the finished, completely sharp result image without further input. This way you get impressive, sharp image results in a very short time.The measurement function* included in the software helps you determine sizes or display a scale. You can measure distances, angles or areas with just a few clicks. Extensive functions support you, e.g. measuring circles with area and radius or complex polygons.
Measurements can be performed on the recorded image as well as in the live image. The MikroCamLabII software also has extensive algorithms for automated image evaluation, e.g. for particle counting or area evaluation.
The housing has a C-Mount connection thread and can therefore be used on microscopes from various manufacturers. We are happy to advise you which MikroCam is optimally suitable for your microscope.
For use on devices with a 23.2 mm mount, an optional 0.5x reduction optic (Art. No. 5914015 (fixed), Art. No. 5914005 (variable)) is available. For special applications, e.g. with a C-Mount objective, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4" tripod thread.

The broad scale is suitable for lower magnifications, the fine scale for higher magnifications.
This crosshair micrometer eyepiece enables the measurement of a specimen. The crossed scale facilitates horizontal and vertical measurement without rotating the eyepiece. For optimal visibility, the crosshair is focusable.
The barrel diameter is 30 mm, allowing for a large field of view of 22 mm.
An additional micrometer slide is required for calibration. Two different measuring slides are available:

This 2x microscope objective is specially designed for the Science DST-0745. This achieves an objective magnification of 1.4x – 9x (regular: 0.7x – 4.5x). The actual object magnification is created in conjunction with the camera used and appears higher on the screen. In addition, this lens significantly increases resolution. Additional objective for Bresser Stereo Microscopes Advance ICD 5804000 and Science ETD-101 5806100With this objectives it is possible to extend the magnification range of the microscope. They are attached in front of the pair of objectives via the M48 thread. Please note that the additional objective will alter the working distance, i.e. the distance between the microscope head and the object that is in focus.Additional objectives with magnifications < 1.0 will raise the working distance. This might be especially helpful when manipulating samples by hand or use of tools is necessary (soldering, engraving etc.). The BRESSER 0.5x reducing lens is designed to enlarge the image from a microscope camera. It increases the light intensity and therefore reduces the exposure time.
In the case of trinocular microscopes, the adapter usually enables the focus to be matched to the focus of the eyepiece.It is compatible with focusers with a 23.2 mm receptacle.
This adapter is specially designed for cameras with sensor sizes of 1/2'' or 1/3''. The connection is made via a 1'' C-mount thread.
