Additional objective for Bresser Stereo Microscopes Advance ICD 5804000 and Science ETD-101 5806100With this objectives it is possible to extend the magnification range of the microscope. They are attached in front of the pair of objectives via the M48 thread. Please note that the additional objective will alter the working distance, i.e. the distance between the microscope head and the object that is in focus.Additional objectives with magnifications < 1.0 will raise the working distance. This might be especially helpful when manipulating samples by hand or use of tools is necessary (soldering, engraving etc.). The Bresser cover slips have a size of 22 x22 mm and a thickness range from 0,13 – 0,17 mm. They are used to cover the sample on the slide. A thin and even sample is necessary for observations with high magnification. These cover slips are designed to work with all objectives that have the thickness of 0,17 mm included in their optical design. Usually you find this number printed on the objective. In the microscope's basis, there are a transmitted light halogen illuminator (20 W) as well as the power supply and the continuous adjustable dimmers for reflected light and transmitted light. The trinocular head attachment works with both illumination modes. It also allows photography and binocular visual observation. The inclination of the eyepiece tubes is 30°. With the polarization head attachment, the instrument is suitable for the internal structure of materials and for condition monitoring of different mechanical apparatus in college and factory. The reflected light halogen illumination (20W), which goes through the objective onto the object, can be modified for special purposes with a colour filter wheel and the polarizer/analyzer combination. The Science ADL 601P is an instrument with an excellent value for money.
