FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

Together with the maximum/minimum memory, this enables you to keep an eye on the indoor climate and effectively prevent mildew and excessively dry air. Outdoor temperature, precipitation and more – you can also view the maximum/minimum readings for the other measurements made by the solar-powered sensor.

Access the measurements from your solar-powered sensor remotely and share them with others: with a few clicks, you can send your weather station data to the ProWeatherLive platform. Simply have a quick look at the intuitive LCD display to keep an eye on the CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity. You don't need to worry about remembering what constitutes a critical carbon dioxide level - the intuitive graphical display with a linear scale and smiley face will show you the quality of the air in your surroundings. The measurements are precise, with high resolution and fast. Ventilation alarmThe practical carbon dioxide alarm reminds you when you need to let in some fresh air. If the default setting is different to your ideal indoor climate, you can configure your own limit up to a maximum of 5000 ppm. The alarm function can then be activated with a simple button press. If the preset limit is exceeded, the alarm will sound at a varying intensity depending on the CO2 concentration. The display will also show a flashing arrow symbol to remind you to open the windows. Humidity is also an important factor, as high humidity levels can cause mould to form. You can also set your own visual alarm for this reading so that you will know whether the air in the room is too dry or too moist. If you want to see more than just the current readings, there is also a practical memory function that displays the maximum and minimum values for the last 24 hours as well as the average values from the last 15 minutes and 8 hours for carbon dioxide concentration, temperature and humidity. Solar-powered weather station
The weather station comes with an eco-friendly 7-in-1 outdoor sensor that operates via solar power and measures the temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV level and light intensity. The sensor uses the sunlight as power-source. Simply align the large solar panel with the sun. In case the sun doesn't shine, 3 AA batteries (not included) serve as a backup. The data will then be displayed on your base station, which has a range of up to 150 metres.

Built-in alarm
The additional base station will help to give you a relaxing start to the day. It features a built-in alarm and a snooze button that silences the alarm to give you an extra few minutes in bed. The clock is synchronized automatically via the Internet to ensure that you won't be late to work. The modern LCD colour display can be viewed from any angle and shows you all relevant weather data including a weather forecast to help you decide what to wear for the day. The additional base station also displays a range of other useful data, including the perceived temperature, sunburn time, Beaufort level and historical data. Smart function for icy weather: Thanks to the built-in frost alarm, the alarm goes off 30 minutes earlier when the outdoor temperature drops below -3 °C.
Create the perfect indoor climate with the additional base station
In addition to the outdoor conditions such as rain, wind and sunshine, the indoor climate can have a big impact on our health and wellbeing. The base station features a built-in sensor that measures the room humidity and temperature and stores the maximum and minimum values. This helps you to take action to prevent excessively dry air in winter and stop mould from forming in rooms with a high humidity, such as the kitchen. An optimal indoor climate is indicated by a smiley face on the graphical comfort indicator. If the display shows a frowning smiley, this indicates that you need to take action to improve the indoor climate.
