FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

The base station can also be connected to online platforms such as Wundergound or Weathercloud so that you can share and access your weather data online. Additional base station – monitor the indoor climate in another room
If your existing base station is in the living room, you can place a second base station in the kitchen or your child’s bedroom to view your local weather data in an additional room. The base station features a built-in thermo-hygro sensor, which measures the ambient temperature and humidity and displays a smiley symbol to indicate the quality of the indoor climate. You can then take effective measures to prevent the risk of mould or dry air.
The additional base station is also ideal as a bedside clock. It features a built-in backlight that can be dimmed or switched off completely to ensure you get a good night’s sleep. And so that you wake up on time, it also has a practical alarm with a snooze function, as well as a frost warning function that triggers that alarm 30 minutes earlier when the outdoor temperature drops below -3°C – plenty of time to ensure that you get to work or school safely.

Stay up-to-date with the weather - with the 7-in-1 Wi-Fi weather station
Have you ever looked at the thermometer and wondered why you feel so cold or sweaty? There's a simple explanation: The perceived temperature is also affected by the wind and the humidity. This Wi-Fi weather station determines the perceived ('feels like') temperature using the measured readings. When the sun is shining, it's easy to forget about the risk of sunburn. The weather station displays the sunburn time in minutes so that you know how long you can sunbathe for safely. It also displays the current wind speed using the Beaufort scale. In addition to a weather forecast and current readings, you can also keep track of recent trends by saving the maximum and minimum values from a certain point in time. Alternatively, you can display the daily max/min values with a simple button press. As well keeping track of the outdoor conditions, you can also view the indoor humidity and temperature to ensure that you maintain an optimal indoor climate. Based on these precise measurements, the Wi-Fi weather station displays the comfort level using a small smiley symbol. You can then take effective measures to prevent the risk of mould or dry air.

The weather station comes with a solar-powered outdoor sensor, which is powered by solar energy and measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. Simply align the large solar panel with the sun according to your location. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries (not included) as a back-up during installation, and they will take care of the power supply. All the measurements will appear on the screen of the base station, which can be located up to 150 metres away.

The modern LCD colour display can be viewed from any angle and shows you all relevant weather data including a weather forecast to help you decide what to wear for the day. The additional base station also displays a range of other useful data, including the perceived temperature, sunburn time, Beaufort level and historical data. Smart function for icy weather: Thanks to the built-in frost alarm, the alarm goes off 30 minutes earlier when the outdoor temperature drops below -3 °C. Create the perfect indoor climate with the additional base station In addition to the outdoor conditions such as rain, wind and sunshine, the indoor climate can have a big impact on our health and wellbeing. The base station features a built-in sensor that measures the room humidity and temperature and stores the maximum and minimum values. This helps you to take action to prevent excessively dry air in winter and stop mould from forming in rooms with a high humidity, such as the kitchen. An optimal indoor climate is indicated by a smiley face on the graphical comfort indicator. If the display shows a frowning smiley, this indicates that you need to take action to improve the indoor climate.
