Additional base station for the 5-in-1 Wi-Fi weather station - provides overview of measurements in multiple rooms. Place one base station in the living room and one in the bedroom to give you an ideal overview whichever room you're in. The BRESSER base station works with the BRESSER 5-in-1 Weather Station 7002581 (white) as well as many other BRESSER weather stations that operate on a frequency of 868 MHz. (For compatibility, see below). The clearly structured display on the base station also shows a range of historical data. It enables internal storage and evaluation of the measured data over a 24-hour period. Using the measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is indicated on the display by six graphical symbols. There is a programmable alarm function for maximum and minimum values, which can emit an acoustic alarm and light signal if either value is reached. A special frost/ice warning alarm can also be configured for outdoor temperatures below -3 °C. Simply pair the station with your solar-powered outdoor sensor (not included), and the measurements for temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity will be displayed on the large and stylish colour screen. You can also connect the station to the Internet and the ProWeatherLive server to obtain a 6-day weather forecast and information on visibility and cloud cover. Additional base station – more space for your weather data In addition to displaying data, the additional base station can also take its own measurements of the ambient indoor conditions. Thanks to the built-in sensor, it can measure the indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure for your current location. It also features a comfort indicator for the indoor climate. When a smiley face is displayed, no action is needed. Otherwise, you’ll need to monitor the conditions or take action to prevent mildew or dry air. Of course, the additional base station also displays all important data on the sun, wind and other weather conditions that you’re used to seeing from your solar weather station. For example, measurements such as the perceived temperature, sunburn time in minutes and the Beaufort index can help you to choose the right clothes before heading out for the day. There is also a maximum/minimum memory to give an overview of the recent weather conditions. Perfect timing from morning till night The base station is ideal for bedrooms – thanks to the built-in alarm with snooze function, you’re guaranteed to wake up on time. There’s also a practical function for cold winter days: if you enable the frost alarm, the alarm goes off 30 minutes earlier when the temperature drops below -3 °C, giving you plenty of time to get to work or school safely. In addition, the time, date and day of the week are synced automatically via the Internet and displayed on the screen. If you enjoy observing the moon, you will also find the current moon phase displayed as a graphic at the top of the screen. It takes no time to install: Establish the power supply, take the mounting materials from the packaging and fit the wireless sensor at your preferred spot as normal. The existing base station will connect to the replacement external sensor automatically as normal. And if the two devices can’t find one another? You can manually intervene: Simply press the WiFi/SENSOR button on the base station and it will start to search for the new wireless sensor.
