Microscope slides with a micrometer scale are used for the calibration for measurements.They are used in combination with a micrometer eyepiece or a measurement software (for cameras) in order to measure preparations. The broad scale is suitable for lower magnifications, the fine scale for higher magnifications.

The BRESSER DIN PL Objective 20x, Infinity has a higher quality optics and thus achieves a particularly high resolution of the image. The plan correction ensures an smooth image field (no refocusing between the center and edge of the image field). Therefore especially recommended for photographic applications. BRESSER offers along the diverse range of microscopes a lot of accessories dedicated to it. The Darkfield microscopy enables a new way to observe your preparations. Especially the contrast of translucent preparations will be enhanced. The background is dark, only the object is illuminated. The aperture is 1.35 (Oil)The BRESSER Darkfield Condenser guides light from the side to the preparation. It provides a strong contrast enhancement, especially at very transparent preparations. The immersion oil delivers defined images even at high magnifications. Capture 4K video with the BRESSER MikroCamII 9MP 4K microscope camera. The video can be up to 30 fps depending on the PC used. The camera uses a global shutter, which captures moving objects without distortion. The big image sensor (14.13 x 7.45mm) captures a big field of view. The high light sensitivity of the Sony® IMX305 CMOS-sensor produces excellent images even when using darkfield or phase contrast.The BRESSER MikroCamLabII software includes a variety of useful functions, e.g. measuring in live mode (optional calibration slide needed), mosaic/stitching, focus stacking (for extended depth of field). All camera parameters (exposure time, gain, white balance) can be set manually.Mosaic and focus stacking can be done in live mode, which gives instant results even for unexperienced users. The method is also much faster than the normal procedure where a set of images is rendered afterwards. To use the mosaic function in live mode, a crosstable / mechanical desk is highly recommended to move the sample.The big camera sensor is not compatible with all microscope models. It might lead  to vignetting (dark edges). To compensate this, a 1.0x optical adapter (item code 5914001) is recommended.This camera will not work with the ETD-201 stereo microscope as the microscope will illuminate only a part of the sensor. Use the camera to shoot photos and / or videos of max. 1m distance. Equipped with a 940nm infrared LED illumination, this digital camera can be used both day and night for stunning close-up pics of the small animal. The camera has a motion sensor, with a range of about 1 m, which triggers the camera when an animal flies in front of the camera. Small movements of trees or shrubs are thus prevented. It is also suitable for all seasons due to its rainproof housing. Not only photos are possible with this camera. Also video recordings, optionally of 5.10, 20, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5min in length, can be recorded. The camera can be used during the day (color images) and thanks to the infrared lighting during the night (black and white).
