This crosshair micrometer eyepiece enables the measurement of a specimen. The crossed scale facilitates horizontal and vertical measurement without rotating the eyepiece. For optimal visibility, the crosshair is focusable. The barrel diameter is 30 mm, allowing for a large field of view of 22 mm. An additional micrometer slide is required for calibration. Two different measuring slides are available: A measuring scale (Item No. 5916710): 1 mm, divided into 0.01 mm increments. Two measuring scales (Item No. 5916720): 10 mm, divided into 0.1 mm increments, and 1 mm, divided into 0.01 mm increments. Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary.The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy.The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. They can be stored for a long time without loss of quality from hydrolysis and are easy to take out.

The BRESSER Mechanical Stage for Stereo Microscopes allows precise object movement in both the X and Y directions, making accurate positioning easy. Each axis features a vernier scale for added precision. Thanks to its adjustable movement, the mechanical stage can also be used to create mosaic images when combined with a BRESSER MikroCam (II, SP, SF). The BRESSER MikroCam Pro HDMI delivers excellent image quality with ease of use. The microscopic image is transferred in Full HD resolution and without delay to a HDMI monitor or TV screen. An optional 11'' HDMI screen is available under item code 5914110 and can be mounted on the camera directly. It gives brilliant images with high contrast. Microscope images and video can now be stored on a SD card with high resolution (up to 5 MP). The Sony Sensor gives excellent image quality. The camera can be controlled with the included USB mouse directly through the on screen display. The on screen functionality now includes a measuring function as well, so the MikroCam Pro HDMI 5MP upgrades your existing trinokular microscope to a fully equipped digital measuring microscope. With the WiFi module, the camera can also supply the images in a wireless network. Due to this, a permanent connection to a PC via USB is not provided.
