Warning notes
  • Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
  • Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
  • Do not expose the device to high temperatures.
  • Suffocation risk! Improper use of this product poses a suffocation risk, especially for children. Therefore, be sure to follow the safety information below.

Starting with a telescope diameter of 8“ and a clear sight, you even get to see various details of Saturn. Explore Scientific Filter 1.25" Orange No.21 - 0310273 This one really supports the detection of the dark areas on the planet Mars. The details of the clouds of Saturn and Jupiter are also so much more visible through the Filter. Explore Scientific Filter 1.25" Blue No.80A - 0310264 The color of light blue really supports watching the high clouds on Mars. The contrast increases. The dark red structures will be shown even darker, so this is the perfect filter for watching the big red Flecks on the gas planet Jupiter. The rings of Saturn will be accentuated, the structures of the Venus Atmosphere will be even finer. EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 1.25" Filter Grey ND0.9 - 0310245 The neutral density filter transmits light uniformly across the entire visual spectrum. It serves as an excellent filter to reduce glare and irradiation when observing the Moon with any telescope 4"(10.2cm) and larger. The ND96 filter may also be employed in the splitting of close double stars where one of the binary pair significantly exceeds the other in brightness. What ist a color Filter for and do we really need it? Color Filters darken the light slightly, that reaches the eye or the sensor of the camera. This eliminates for instance stronger transitions. The result is that your picture turns out with more contrast which automatically shows more details. BRESSER Stellar 60/800 AZ - Refractor Telescope with Smartphone Camera Adapter & Solar Filter
Simply set up and explore the Moon, Venus and co. straight away: With the BRESSER Stellar 60/800 AZ lens telescope, getting started in sky observation is quick and easy. The complete set already contains the necessary equipment for your new hobby: the astronomical lens telescope with 60 mm aperture and 800 mm focal length, the azimuthal mount, the tripod and extensive accessories for your voyage of discovery through the solar system. The beginner's telescope is very easy to use and therefore ideal for getting children excited about astronomy. Well-tried classic for completely new impressions - the telescope Especially for beginners and children, this classic lens telescope - also known as an achromatic refractor of the Fraunhofer type - makes it easy to enjoy astronomical sights. The modern, precisely coated optics ensure good imaging properties. Another strength of the optics: the 60 mm aperture and the 800 mm focal length result in a very large focal ratio (ratio of the aperture to the focal length) of about 1 to 13.3 (F/13.3). The result: a very sharp image with good contrast. The long focal length also makes the telescope a specialist for lunar, solar and planetary observation. However, open star clusters and globular clusters are also guaranteed to amaze you when you look through the telescope. And how big do the celestial objects appear? With the aperture size, the starter telescope achieves a resolving power which lets you enjoy really sharp images at up to 120x magnification. Technically, this entry-level telescope is capable of more - theoretically up to 600x with the included accessories. But: with increasing magnification, the image sharpness can slowly decrease. Of course, not only the telescope plays a role when it comes to magnification. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also affects your view of the night sky. The foundation for your view into space - mount and tripod The telescope tube is held securely on the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with azimuthal mount. And this azimuthal mount has a great advantage: it is very easy to operate. Just like a common photo tripod, you simply swing the telescope manually to the left and right, up and down. Perfect for beginners in astronomy and children. But where to put the accessories? To keep them within easy reach, just place eyepieces, solar filter etc. on the storage plate between the tripod legs. All you need for a quick start in astronomy - the accessories For your fascinating view of the night sky, the telescope for beginners comes with lots of accessories. Among them you will find a LED-viewfinder, with which you can easily keep track of the sky. It is mounted parallel to the actual telescope and projects a red dot onto a small screen. When you look through the viewfinder, the red dot appears to float in front of the sky - right where your starter telescope aperture is pointing. This way, the finder helps you to align your optics precisely and locate celestial objects - before you then take a closer look through the magnification of the telescope. You determine how much magnification you get by choosing the eyepiece. You will see: The two eyepieces (4 mm, 20 mm) included in the set alone offer quite different perspectives on the beauties of our cosmos. For the most versatile views possible, the socket diameter of 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) also complies with an international, manufacturer-independent standard. So if you want to expand your astronomy set later, you will have a wide choice of models. You have found an astronomical highlight and want to see even more details? Then place the 3x Barlow-lens between the telescope and the eyepiece. It will triple the magnification. Meanwhile the included 90-degree star diagonal mirror lets you comfortably admire the night sky. Even though your entry-level telescope is pointed upwards, you don't have to lie down underneath to enjoy the view. Instead, you look in comfortably from the side. But it is not only at night that we can observe the beauty of outer space. During the day, our own Sun is the undisputed star in the sky. So attach the solar filter to the aperture of your beginner’s telescope and safely observe sunspots and granulation. CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter! BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ - Refractor Telescope with Hard-top Case
Open the case and you're ready to go: The BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ lens telescope shows you the fascinating world of star clusters and planets. This complete set contains everything you need for your first steps into sky observation: an astronomical lens telescope with 60 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length, an azimuthal mount, a tripod and lots of accessories. The system is very easy to handle and therefore ideal for introducing children to astronomy as a hobby. And since there are so many beautiful things to discover on Earth as well, the telescope is suitable for observing nature and landscapes. Simply an astro-classic – the telescope With this classic lens telescope – a so-called Fraunhofer achromatic refractor – even beginners and children can easily gain new insights into the night sky. Thanks to the modern, precisely coated optics, the starter telescope offers good imaging properties. A sharp image with good contrast – this is ensured by the large focal ratio of about 1 to 11.7 (F/11.7), which results from the ratio of the 60 mm aperture to the 700 mm focal length. Perfect for exploring our Moon, the planets, but also open star clusters and globular clusters. And what about the magnification? The 60 mm aperture provides a resolving power that easily allows magnifications up to about 120x with really sharp images. Technically, even more is possible with this beginner’s telescope – up to 175x with the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the image can become more and more blurred. How much magnification is actually possible depends not only on the telescope, but also on the air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions). The foundation for moving impressions – mount and tripod For your nighttime observations, attach your telescope to the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with azimuthal mount. Thanks to its extremely easy operation, you can enjoy effortless astronomical explorations with this azimuthal mount. Just like with a normal photo tripod, you simply turn the starter telescope by hand up and down, to the left and right. To ensure that your eyepieces, compass, star map etc. are always within reach, simply place your accessories on the practical storage plate located between the tripod legs. Everything for a good start in astronomy – the accessories In the sturdy hard-top case, in which you can store the beginner's telescope perfectly and take it safely with you on your travels, you will also find lots of accessories. The 5x24 finder is a small miniature telescope that you simply mount parallel to the actual telescope. With its weak 5x magnification and integrated crosshair, it helps you keep track of the starry sky. So it allows you to easily find celestial objects and precisely align the telescope – before you then enjoy the view with the higher magnification. And how high the magnification is depends on which of the three included eyepieces (4 mm; 12.5 mm; 20 mm) you are currently using. To change the magnification, simply insert another one into the telescope's focuser. If at some point you want to change your field of view with additional eyepieces: no problem! The 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) socket diameter complies with an international and cross-manufacturer standard, so you can combine a wide range of optional eyepieces with your telescope. For a comfortable view at any time, you will also find a 90-degree diagonal mirror in the scope of delivery. Otherwise, you would have to lie down under the starter telescope in order to achieve good observation results when the optics are pointed upwards into the sky. Instead, you simply look in comfortably from the side. In addition to the night sky, the Earth also offers many captivating sights. That's why the 1.5x erecting lens turns the image the right side around, so that you can devote your entry-level telescope to observing nature and landscapes during day. However, because orientation in the night sky is not as easy as on our daytime planet, a compass and star map are included in the set. This way you always know where to look and what you will see there. Enjoy a quick start to the exciting hobby of astronomy with the BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ lens telescope including all accessories. FEATURES Beginner’s telescope for astronomy 60 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length Achromatic refractor type Fraunhofer Ideal for observing Moon, planets and star clusters Height-adjustable tripod with azimuthal mount Easy to use, therefore suitable for children Focal ratio F=11.7, thus sharp image and high contrast Three eyepieces with 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) sockets for different magnifications With hard-top case for storage and transport SCOPE OF DELIVERY Starter lens Telescope Aluminium tripod Azimuthal mount Eyepieces: 4 mm, 12.5 mm, 20 mm (1.25 inch sockets) Star diagonal mirror Erecting lens 1.5x Finder telescope: 5x24 Accessory tray Hard-top case Compass Star map Instruction manual

BRESSER Venus 76/700 AZ Reflector Telescope with Smartphone Adapter & Solar Filter
The BRESSER Venus 76/700 AZ reflecting telescope allows beginners to experience their very own stargazing hours quickly and easily. With the complete set, you are equipped with everything you need for your very own sky observations: an astronomical reflecting telescope with 76 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length, an azimuthal mount, a tripod as well as extensive accessories. And to guarantee a successful start in astronomy, the system is very easy to handle – the perfect first telescope for beginners! Established technology for your easy start – the telescope With this entry-level telescope, you will be able to admire the night sky through a classic Newtonian reflector. A little surprising for astronomy novices: with this particular type, you do not look in at the back of the telescope, but at the front and laterally. The advantage: even if the telescope aperture is directed vertically towards the sky, you can make your discoveries very comfortably. No need to bend down! In addition, the Newtonian reflector is very easy to use. The optics in this type of reflector telescopes are also impressive, because they are free of chromatic aberrations – resulting in good imaging properties at all times. A sharp image with good contrast – the Venus reflector telescope achieves this with its large focal ratio of about 1 to 9.2 (F/9.2 – calculated from 76 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length). Thanks to its long focal length, the telescope for beginners shows you the Moon, Sun, planets, open star clusters as well as globular clusters in a particularly impressive way. And all this at a magnification of up to 150x in really sharp images! Technically, you can magnify even higher – theoretically up to 525x while using the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the sharpness of the image may slowly decrease. Of course, how much you can magnify depends not only on the resolving power of your telescope. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also plays an important role. Note for nature lovers: If you choose a Newtonian telescope like the Venus reflector telescope, you can look forward to a specialist in astronomical observation. However, the image is always displayed laterally reversed as well as upside down, which makes no difference when observing the sky. However, this type of telescope is less suitable for nature and landscape observation during the day. Would you like to use your new telescope for exciting nature discoveries as well? Then we recommend that you choose one of the BRESSER refractor telescopes. A good foundation for a successful start – mount and tripod The height-adjustable aluminium tripod and the azimuthal mount provide a firm footing and easy celestial navigation. Especially the azimuthal mount makes life easy for beginners, because it is very user-friendly: just like a typical photo tripod, you turn the telescope by hand to the left and right, up and down. This way, your favourite celestial objects quickly appear in your field of vision. Handy: to ensure that your astronomy accessories are always within reach, there is a storage plate between the tripod legs. Everything that goes with it – the accessories Out of the box straight to the fun of observing – with the complete astronomy set, you are quickly on your way to discovering the universe. The LED viewfinder helps you keep an eye on the sky. You just mount the direction finder parallel to the actual telescope and it projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. This then appears to be hovering in front of the sky when you look through the viewfinder. And it does so at exactly the same spot that your telescope is pointed at. This way, the LED finder helps you to align the reflector telescope precisely and to find the celestial objects more easily. When it comes to the level of detail in your observations, the Venus beginner's reflector telescope gives you a choice: the two included eyepieces (4 mm and 20 mm) allow you two different magnifications. You want to get an even closer look? Then simply triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x Barlow lens. In addition, the socket diameter of 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) complies with an international and manufacturer-independent standard. So you can easily expand your set – and with it your astronomical horizon. If you want to observe fascinating sights not only at night but also during the day, simply grab the solar filter. With it, you can safely admire spots and granulation on our nearest star – the Sun. CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter! A new hobby leads to new impressions – and naturally you want to capture and share those. Therefore, you can easily use your mobile phone for your first steps into astrophotograpy with the smartphone adapter. Perfect for great snapshots of the Moon or the Sun, for example. Look forward to exciting astronomical discoveries by day and night – with the BRESSER Venus 76/700 AZ reflector telescope. All the equipment for your new, exciting hobby is already included: the lens telescope with 70 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length, the equatorial mount, the tripod and a wide range of accessories for astronomical observations. Ideal for beginners: the system is very easy to handle and can even be used by children. Well-proven design for an easy beginning – the telescope With this set you'll start your voyage of discovery to the stars with a classic refracting telescope, a so-called achromatic refractor of the Fraunhofer type. The advantage of this particular design: even beginners as well as children can use it with ease. In addition, the Lyra refracting telescope impresses with good imaging properties due to its modern, precisely coated optics. If you compare this entry-level telescope to a corresponding astronomical telescope with a 60 mm aperture, you will notice: With its 70 mm aperture, the Lyra already collects 36 % more light. It also offers better resolution. In addition, 70 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length result in a very large focal ratio (ratio of aperture to focal length) of about 1 to 12.9 (F/12.9). The impressive result: a very sharp image with good contrast. Enjoy the view of our natural satellite, the Moon. Or take a look at the planets. Even the famous Pleiades sparkle captivatingly in your field of view. For the long focal length makes the telescope a specialist for observing the Moon, Sun, planets and open as well as globular clusters. And how big will these eye-catchers of the sky appear? Thanks to the 70 mm aperture, the resolution allows magnifications of up to 140x with really sharp images. Technically, much more would be possible – theoretically up to 675x using the included accessories. However, then the image sharpness could slowly decrease with increasing magnification. Of course – as with everything in astronomy – the prevailing conditions also play a role: So, how much you can actually magnify is determined not only by your telescope's performance but also by the air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions). Perfect foundation for your glimpse into space – mount and tripod Once you have found the ideal location for your astronomical telescope, you can quickly start exploring the sky. Simply mount the tube with the equatorial mount on the height-adjustable aluminium tripod. This special type of mount has the advantage of particularly convenient tracking: for this purpose, an axis is aligned parallel to the Earth's axis by pointing it approximately at Polaris during the so-called "alignment". Afterwards, the movement of the celestial bodies can be conveniently compensated for on this one axis rather than on both at the same time, as is the case with an azimuthal mount. In addition, the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment ensure the very precise and comfortable adjustment and tracking of the entry-level telescope. Always the right accessories at hand: the storage plate between the tripod legs provides space for eyepieces, barlow lens, solar filter etc.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable! All-round equipment for astronomy newbies – the accessories Moon, planets or the Sun – with the extensive accessories you will get the best out of your astronomical telescope for any observation object. But initially, the LED viewfinder helps you find the nocturnal celestial bodies in the first place. To do this, the direction finder is installed and aligned parallel to the actual telescope. When you then look through it, a small red dot appears to hover in front of the sky. It shows you the spot at which the telescope is pointed. In this way, you precisely align the tube and easily find your objects before you gaze at them through the higher magnification of the telescope. Change of perspective for stargazers: using the two eyepieces you achieve different magnifications. They can be switched easily: With their standard socket diameter of 1.25 inches (31.7 mm), they are simply inserted into the eyepiece focuser of the entry-level telescope. Looking for even more detail? Then grab the 3x barlow lens and triple the magnification of the eyepieces. Comfortable observation at all times: a 90-degree star diagonal mirror is included. So, even if the telescope points vertically upwards into the sky, you can still look in comfortably from the side. For exciting discoveries during the day simply attach the safe solar filter to the telescope’s aperture. This way you can take a closer look at our own star and marvel at sunspots and granulation on the sun. CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the sun without the solar filter! The system is very easy to handle and can even be used by children. Simply unpack, set up and get started – you will be amazed at what you will discover! Easy start with user-friendly classic – the telescope The astronomical telescope is a traditional lens telescope, a so-called Fraunhofer achromatic refractor. The advantage of this established telescope type: even beginners and children find it easy to operate. In addition, the BRESSER Quasar scores points for its modern, precisely coated optics with good imaging properties. A direct comparison shows: With its 80 mm aperture, this telescope already collects 30 % more light than a 70 mm telescope and the resolving power is better as well. This means that you can already marvel at some of the details on Mars through the Quasar. In addition, 80 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length mean a large focal ratio (ratio of the aperture to the focal length) of about 1 to 11.3 (F/11.3). The result: a very sharp image with good contrast. Due to its long focal length the entry-level telescope is a specialist when it comes to observing the moon, sun, planets, open star clusters and globular clusters. But you can also take a look at many gas nebulae through this telescope, such as the famous Orion Nebula M42 or the Ring Nebula M57. How big will you see the fascinating celestial bodies? The 80 mm aperture achieves a resolving power that easily allows magnifications of up to about 160x with really sharp images. Technically, much more is possible, theoretically up to 675x using the included accessories. However, with increasing magnification, the sharpness of the image can slowly decrease. In addition to the equipment, the conditions play a role as well: the air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also determines how much you are able to magnify. Sturdy base for your easy astro-beginning – mount and tripod Found the perfect spot for your nocturnal explorations? Then install the telescope effortlessly on the height-adjustable aluminium tripod using the equatorial mount. The advantage of this type of mount: unlike the azimuthal models, you compensate for the movement of the celestial bodies along just one axis instead of two. To do this, you align one axis parallel to the Earth's axis, which is called "alignment". This is easily done by pointing it approximately to Polaris. The beginner's telescope also comes with two flexible shafts with a fine adjustment, which simplify the movement of the axes. They make adjusting and tracking very precise and comfortable. Handy storage: On a plate between the tripod legs, you can store your accessories within easy reach.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope.
