Comprehensive measurement features This wireless weather station uses a built-in thermo-hygrometer to monitor indoor temperature and humidity. Outdoor data is gathered by the wireless sensor, which transmits temperature and humidity readings from up to 60 metres away directly to the weather station’s sleek display. Accurate weather forecasting Get trustworthy weather forecasts including a practical trend arrow. Calibration is quick and easy during setup. Just check it against the current outdoor conditions, make a quick adjustement if necessary, and you’re good to go. From then on, forecasts are reliably calculated based on air pressure changes. Your base station can continue to function perfectly. This sensor is the perfect replacement part for your 4-day 4CAST WiFi weather centre. The device is operated in much the same way as you are used to: Start by inserting the batteries (not included). Then, fit the replacement sensor in your preferred location using the installation material supplied. Once everything has been tightened up, all you need to do is connect to your base station (not included). With a replacement sensor, this is not an automatic process; you will needed to press the WiFi/SENSOR button on the console. The console will then start to search for the signal from the sensor. Connected? Then you're done, and you can start enjoying up-to-date and local weather data from your sensor for outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. Weather forecast, outdoor and indoor temperature, time and date – the extra large display shows you all relevant data in an easy-to-read format. What’s more, thanks to its stylish and sleek design, the Meteo Temp W fits perfectly in any space. Weather station with outdoor sensor The base station can be placed at a distance of up to 80 metres from the wireless outdoor sensor, and displays the outdoor temperature on the built-in screen. When you’re outdoors, you can also view the current temperature on the outdoor sensor’s built-in display. Monitor the indoor temperature Thanks to the built-in thermo sensor, the Meteo Temp W weather station also displays the precise indoor temperature to help you maintain a comfortable indoor climate in your living room or study. You can also use the temperature display to help you save energy in the winter: lowering the temperature by 1 degree reduces energy consumption by up to 6%. Weather forecast function with short-term trend indicator Sunny, (partly) cloudy, (heavy) rain or snow – the weather station uses six intuitive symbols to display the weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours, while the trend arrow shows you the trend for the next few minutes. Practical frost warning function for cold winter days The BRESSER weather station also keeps you informed about wintry weather conditions: a snowflake symbols appears on the display when the outdoor temperature falls below 3 °C to warn you about the potential for frosty conditions. Automatic date and time setting (DCF) The Meteo Temp W weather station features a date and time display that receives the time automatically from a DCF radio signal (CET time).
