Product information "BRESSER Dovetail rail 200mm for Messier (Vixen/GP)"
This dovetail rail is suitable for mounting on BRESSER MESSIER 6 , 8 and 10 inch Dobson telescopes. The dovetail rail is manufactured according to the GP standard and therefore these Dobson telescope tubes can be used on any telescope mounting with the appropriate carrying capacity. The prism rail is 200mm long and therefore offers sufficient clearance for secure mounting on the telescope mount. In combination with the optionally available carrying handle Art. No. 4940150, these Dobson telescope tubes can also be easily transported because the carrying handle is mounted in the centre of gravity of the telescope. This dovetail rail is also suitable as spare part for all other MESSIER telescopes with 200mm dovetail rail.

The BRESSER Messier 6 inch Planetary Dobson is something very special. Despite its low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality, which you sometimes look for in the considerably more expensive devices in vain. With an aperture diameter of 150 mm and a focal length of 1200 mm of this high quality BRESSER newtonian optics, the observation of the moon, the planets and planetary nebulae is particularly well possible. Craters and grooves of the moon as well as the fast changing shadows cast by the so-called terminator line are exciting observation targets. Saturn with its impressive ring, Jupiter with its bands of clouds and the movement of its easily visible moons, the crescent shape of Venus and the glowing red Mars are good examples of what this telescope can be used for.
Because of the long basic focal length you can easily achieve the high magnifications required for this purpose with this telescope. You do not need expensive special eyepieces. In short, this is a telescope primarily for detailed observation. Nevertheless bright deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula or the galaxies Messier 81 and 82 etc. can be observed as well.
Also photography is no problem with this tube. Here is another strength of this telescope: if you want to take pictures, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and put them on a EQ mount with an optionally available dovetail rail - and nothing more stands in the way of astrophotography. The included eyepiece adapter has the common T2 connection thread (M42x0.75mm), to which almost every standard camera can be attached. Only the camera specific T2 adapter ring is additionally required. Of course, also common USB planetary cameras with 1.25 inch or 2 inch plug diameter can be used directly with this telescope. With the original equipment you can observe immediately - an optical 6x30 viewfinder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece are included. For those who want to transport the device as compact as possible, the new 6'' BRESSER Messier Planet Dobson makes it very easy - the rocker box can be disassembled in a few easy steps, because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors. So a bulky rocker box quickly turns into a handy flat package of boards.

Despite of its low price this telesccope offers a versatility and quality rivaling a lot more expensive telecopes. The optical diameter of 203mm (8'') does not restrict your observations on solar system objects like the moon or the planets - you can reach farther into the sky and explore globular and open clusters, nebulae and galaxies. With that telescope those objects are beginning to show structures: globular clusters are no longer only fuzzy blobs, but are resolved into masses of individual stars. Nebulae, that can only be barely detected in smaller scopes, reveal structures within. The telescope is setting a new standard in versatility: the excellent Hexafoc focuser boosts a free diameter of 65mm (2,5'') so that you do not have vignetting in big widefield eyepieces that is caused by smaller focuser barrels. The big altitude wheels handle those big, heavy eyepieces without problems - and when you intend to load even more (like a binocular viewer with two eyepieces) then you can move the tube in its tube rings and achieve balance within seconds. Despite the low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality that are sometimes unavailable in considerably more expensive telescopes. With its 254 mm diameter optics, this telescope is not limited to solar system observation of the Moon and brighter planets - you can also observe far out into the universe and see globular clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Details become visible in most deep-sky objects: globular clusters are broken down into individual stars and nebulae, which are only hinted at in smaller scopes, show considerable structure. This Dobsonian is unsurpassed in versatility within its price range: the excellent, large Hexafoc focuser has an opening of 65 mm - so even with large wide-field eyepieces, there is no noticeable vignetting from the eyepiece extension tube. Dual-camera with 4K – a genuine leap forward
ZWO has raised the bar significantly with the S30 Pro. The telephoto camera is built around the Sony IMX585 sensor in the large 1/1.2″ format, covering a 4.6° field of view, while the wide-angle camera pairs the IMX586 sensor with a sweeping 63° field of view. The telephoto sensor alone is four times the size of the one found in the original S30 – which translates directly into more gathered light, cleaner images, and finer detail on even the faintest, most remote objects.
A 4-element apochromatic lens with a 160 mm focal length and ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass renders colours more faithfully and images more crisply than the 3-element design of the previous model. The autofocus takes care of itself, and an integrated triple filter system – dark-field filter, UV/IR cut filter, and a light pollution filter optimised for OIII and H-Alpha – means you can get outstanding results even from the middle of a city. A built-in dew heater keeps the optics clear on damp nights, so nothing stands between you and the stars.
Four capture modes – perfectly tuned for every subject
The S30 Pro offers four dedicated capture modes, each of which automatically dials in the right settings for the job:In Stargazing mode, galaxies, nebulae, star clusters and more are yours to explore.
Solar System mode is fine-tuned for planets and the Sun – always used with the included solar filter, of course.
The brand-new Milky Way & Star Trails mode lets you create breathtaking Milky Way panoramas, star trails, time-lapses, and Milky Way mosaics at the press of a button.
Scenery mode turns the S30 Pro into a capable ultra-telephoto camera during the day.For newcomers, it really is as simple as picking a mode and letting the telescope do the rest.
Smart app control with over 80,000 celestial objects at your fingertips
The Seestar app (iOS/Android) is clean, intuitive, and puts complete control of the telescope in the palm of your hand. One tap is all it takes for the GoTo system to swing the optics precisely onto your chosen target – drawn from a database of over 80,000 deep-sky objects and 600,000 stars, complete with recommendations via the "Tonight's Best" feature. The smart constellation recognition identifies star patterns in your field of view in real time, or navigates straight to a constellation of your choosing. The Plan mode lets you schedule an entire imaging session in advance: the S30 Pro will search, track, and photograph all by itself – even long after you've turned in for the night. Cloud cover forecasts, moon phase data and visibility information all help you pick the best possible moment to observe.
8K mosaics, advanced image processing and 128 GB of onboard storage
The Seestar S30 Pro can automatically assemble 8K Milky Way mosaics – portrait or landscape orientation, triggered with a single tap. The telescope works through a pre-calculated grid of frames and stitches everything together seamlessly.
The new Freeze the Ground feature cleverly separates the foreground from the sky: your landscape stays crisp and natural while the stars are stacked without any trailing – with no manual effort whatsoever.
Automatic noise reduction and Dynamic Background Extraction (DBE) work together to smooth out uneven backgrounds and draw out fine detail, entirely without any input from you.
Images are saved in JPEG or FITS format; videos in MP4 or AVI. With 128 GB of internal storage, there is plenty of headroom for even the longest of nights.
