Even lighting is essential for accurately reproducing colors and details. Studio flashes with softboxes or spotlights are recommended, ideally two units for optimal illumination. Beginners may prefer simple daylight kits, LED sets are suitable for food photography and smaller objects, while LED multi-color lights are ideal for creative effects.
For small spaces or mobile applications, portable systems consisting of two stands and a crossbar are sufficient. Those operating a permanent studio are better served by wall- or ceiling-mounted systems, which can be installed permanently. Roll/unroll background rolls with ease
The BRESSER BR-MB32 crossbar offers the perfect solution. Just like all other crossbars, it is secured to two lamp tripods, but it also features a pivot bearing on both ends, allowing the crossbar to be rotated.
Two roll holders ensure that the background roll turns with the crossbar. These can be positioned freely along the crossbar, allowing you to attach and roll/unroll 1.35 m wide rolls, 2 m wide rolls and 2.72 m wide rolls with ease.
Also suitable for background cloths
Background cloths with a seam for holding a crossbar cannot be fixed to the crossbar via roll holders. This crossbar, however, comes with 4 tube clips designed specifically for this purpose. Distributed evenly across the entire width of the cloth, these provide sufficient grip on the crossbar so that the background cloth can be rolled/unrolled by pulling on the chain.
