With its 8.9 cm (3.5") LCD monitor, this student microscope allows several people to view objects at the same time. The microscope can be used for both transmitted light and (limited) reflected light microscopy.
You can take photos of your observations or record them as a movie. The device has a card slot for SD cards and a USB port (for transferring photos/videos saved on an SD card). The magnification is 50-500x, the digital magnification reaches up to 2,000x (4x digital zoom). It is supplied with a comprehensive range of accessories.
Thanks to the integrated LED incident light illumination, even opaque objects can be viewed without time-consuming preparation. Objects up to 3mm high can be viewed, e.g. small insects, plant parts, sand and much more. This allows children in particular a quick and uncomplicated introduction into microscopy.
Transmitted light microscopy then opens up the world of cells and microorganisms. It doesn't just have to be permanent specimens; an onion skin, tiny moss leaves or water plant leaves already clearly show the structure of the plant cells. Water samples from a pond, aquarium or watering can contain numerous ciliates, rotifers and other protozoa. There is a lot to discover with the BRESSER LCD microscope, and several people can always relax and observe on the screen at the same time.

A digital microscope easily brings the microcosmos up on the screen. For a long time, these instruments were common only in the beginner's range. Now, the successful and proven Researcher series makes the step into the digital microscopy world and offers new options for microscopy in schools, for hobby or work. The optics and mechanics is the same as already well estabished in the Researcher Bino and Researcher Trino microscopes. Incuding 4 DIN objectives, Abbe condenser, coaxial fine focus and crosstable, the Researcher LCD is suitable for use in the microscopy hobby as well as in teaching or other work related applications. The highest magnification when using the 60x objective (compares to 600x on non digital microscopes) is high enough to view small microorganisms as microalgae, flagellates and bacteria. Other magnifications (20x, 100x oil) can be added later. The Researcher LCD is also compatible with our plan-achromatic objectives designed for 160mm optical tube length.The integrated, modern Sony camerasensor IMX206 with 16MP gives a brilliant image with good contrast on the monitor. The user can change settings and capture images and video conveniently with the touch screen. Images with 16MP and Full HD video can be stored directly on SD card (SD card not supplied). The microscope also has a HDMI connection, so the image is easily shown on a big monitor, TV, beamer or smartboard. The results can be shared with a bigger audience in lectures or teaching.

Simply align the large solar panel with the sun according to your location. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries (not included) as a back-up during installation, and they will take care of the power supply. All the measurements will appear on the screen of the base station, which can be located up to 150 metres away.

Uses

Illumination
In order to illuminate the objects that you are examining evenly, without shadows, the reflected-light microscope has 3 light sources: 1 ring light with 6 LEDs and 2 gooseneck LED spotlights. The brightness of the lights can be easily controlled via the LED touch bar.
Recording function
Extensive analyses easily and efficiently: With the integrated camera, you can document your examinations in photo and video format. Using the remote control can also help to prevent camera shake. The device features high-quality optics with continuous zoom. This enables documentation of the specimen between 10x and 280x magnifications. Depending on the object to be examined, the appropriate magnification can always be selected. With its ring light, the digital incident light microscope ensures optimal illumination and high-contrast images of your specimen. The ring light consists of eight LEDs.
