This is the heavier quality version! The M-33 Softlite reflector has a matte silvern interior. Thanks to the parabola effect of these beauty dishes the light bundle is directed to a focus point. The effect of a beauty dishes lies between the one of direct illumination and illumination with a softbox. It gives the photographed object a more contrastful and accentuated effect.
The extra inner diffuser which can normally be found in front of the modeling lamp or the flash tube can be removed for a harder and more direct effect. Due to the particularly deep shape of this large reflector the light beam is more bundeled than with common beauty dishes. Sharper and more contrastful. For an even more bundeled light effect a honeycomb grid can be attached to the front. This is particularly useful for portrait photography.
