The TELRAD dew cap prevents the projection screen from fogging up in unfavourable weather conditions. With built-in 90° deflecting mirror for easier use in zenith position. The functionality is quite simple. If the TELRAD viewfinder is not used in the meantime, simply flip the dew cap over the viewfinder projection screen. This saves the annoying wiping off of the humidity and the viewfinder is always ready for use. The dew cap is made of impact-resistant plastic and additionally protects the viewfinder projection screen from scratches during transport. The retrofitting of the dew cap is very easy and is done by the two screws on the side.FEATURESdew cap for TELRAD projection viewfinderprojection screen cover when not in useprevents fogging of the projection screenbuilt-in 90° deflecting mirror made of impact-resistant plasticprotects the viewfinder from damageeasy installation on TELRAD viewfinderSCOPE OF DELIVERYdew cap, 1 piece

The TELRAD viewfinder is a projection finder that can be installed on any telescope and makes it child's play to align the telescope with the starry sky.The TELRAD viewfinder is a practical alternative to classic optical viewfinders and illuminated red dot viewfinders. You can see the complete starry sky without magnification, and not just a small section as with a normal optical viewfinder. Against this background of the starry sky, three red luminous concentric rings are projected, with apparent diameters of 4 degrees, 2° and 0.5° in the sky. Move the telescope so that the object you are looking for is in the inner ring, and the telescope points in the right direction. Because the object you are looking for is inside the ring, it will not be irradiated like a normal illuminated red dot finder. The base of the TELRAD viewfinder is self-adhesive and can be mounted on all telescopic tubes from about 10cm diameter. The length of the base is about 18cm. This base remains on the telescopic tube, the TELRAD viewfinder itself can be removed or attached at any time by means of the attached quick coupling. The TELRAD is powered by two normal AA batteries (not included). There are star atlases, like the "Deep Sky Travel Atlas" from Oculum-Verlag, and planetarium programs for the PC, like the program "Stellarium", where the three rings of the TELRAD are already drawn or can be displayed around the interesting celestial objects. This makes finding these celestial objects a real walk.FEATURESTELRAD projection finderIlluminated rings of 4 degrees, 2° and 0.5° in the skySee the complete starry sky without magnificationEasy installation and useCan be installed on nearly every telescopesBase with quick release coupling included Powered by two AA batteries (not included) Very long battery life because of LED technologySCOPE OF DELIVERYTELRAD viewfinder with projector and battery compartment TELRAD base with quick-release coupling for the viewfinder Adhesive tape for attachment to telescope

NEW - now including a high-quality lens solar filter for the safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits. A high quality telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 10 "Dobsonian is something very special. Despite the low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality that are sometimes unavailable in considerably more expensive telescopes. With its 254 mm diameter optics, this telescope is not limited to solar system observation of the Moon and brighter planets - you can also observe far out into the universe and see globular clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Details become visible in most deep-sky objects: globular clusters are broken down into individual stars and nebulae, which are only hinted at in smaller scopes, show considerable structure. This Dobsonian is unsurpassed in versatility within its price range: the excellent, large Hexafoc focuser has an opening of 65 mm - so even with large wide-field eyepieces, there is no noticeable vignetting from the eyepiece extension tube. The large elevation wheels also hold the telescope level with just the right amount of "sticktion", even when heavier eyepieces are used. And when a lot of heavier accessories are attached, such as the Bresser Binoviewer attachment, then the entire telescope tube can be moved within the tube rings - and everything is balanced again in a flash. The unsurpassed rigidity of the focuser makes it easy to focus - photography with this OTA is no problem either as the supplied extension tube for the focuser can be removed and a camera easily bought to a prime focus position. This is another strength of this universal telescope: if you want to take photos, you can simply unscrew the elevation wheels from the tube and place it on an equatorial mount with a standard dovetail rail - other rival Dobsonians do not offer this level of flexibility or pathway to more expansive astrophotography use. An optional dual speed 10:1 gear reduction for the focuser is available for those who need extra fine control of focus. If you consider that the focuser is the telescope part that is used most often, the supply of the Hexafoc on this telescope is a quantum leap for this price range. With the initial equipment you can observe immediately - a 6x30 viewfinder and a 25mm SPL eyepiece are included within the package. If you want to transport the device as compactly as possible, it is easy with the new 10 "BRESSER Messier - the rocker box can be dismantled in a few simple steps, as the parts are assembled with metal quick-release connectors. A bulky rocker box quickly becomes a handy flat package of boards within a few minutes. This is a telescope whose versatility, performance and ease of use set new standards in this price range. Please note that while Newtonian type reflecting telescopes are very good for astronomical observations in the night sky, they not well-suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day. We therefore recommend BRESSER refracting or Cassegrain designs of telescopes for additional nature and landscape observations.PROPERTIESType: mirror telescopeMirror diameter: 254mm / focal length: 1270mm / F / 5Maximum useful magnification: 508 timesTelescope for night and solar observation2.5" HEXAFOC focuserMain mirror made of special glass, with low thermal expansionHassle-free focusing, even with heavy accessoriesEasy to move tubeDismountable rocker boxTube mounting on altitude bikes using clampsUse of the optics on other mounts as wellAdjustment and construction screws of different sizesBase diameter 54cmWhat's IncludedTube with Newtonian opticsFull aperture Solar filter6x30 viewfinder25mm Super Plössl eyepiece (Ø 31.7 mm / 1.25 ")1 extension tube 37.5mm for 2.5 " Hexafoc1 eyepiece adapter 1.25" to 2"/31.7 to 50.8 mm2 Tube Rings2 Altitude support wheelsRocker box with 2 base plates and mounting material (disassembled for self-assembly)Shipping dimensions Box1: 134x44x44cm - 19.0kgShipping dimensions Box2: 61x61x24cm - 17.0kg

NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation.
The BRESSER Messier 6'' dobsonian is simply a breakthrough. Despite of its low price this telesccope offers a versatility and quality rivaling a lot more expensive telecopes. Not only for beginners - also enthusiastic and experienced amateur astronomers love this high perfomance and compact telescope for traveling and to discover the night sky. The main goal of this telescope is the quick setup and the ease of use. Simply put the Messier 6'' Dobson telescope on a table in your backyard, point the telescope to your target object and you are ready to start your observation. The Messier 6'' Dobson is almost pre-assembled ex factory which means you can start within minutes. With the included standard accessories (LED-finder, 25mm and 9mm Kellner eyepieces and Moonfilter) the telescope is ready for observing. The inbuild compass and circular level speeds up the telescopes orientation. The optical diameter of 150mm (6'') does not restrict your observations on solar system objects like the moon or the planets - you can reach farther into the sky and explore globular and open clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Finding and observing is much easier with that light gathering richfield telescope. Bresser also has equipped these dobsonians with a high quality parabolic main mirror which offers a much better scharpness and contrast than other telescopes with a simple spherical main mirror. In addition, this telescope has a particularly large secondary mirror of 55mm in diametre for ideal illumination of the image field.
The 6'' Dobsonian is also equipped with a large 2.0'' focuser, which allows the use of 2.0'' eyepieces with even larger fields of view. Due to the included eyepiece adapter 2'' to 1.25'', all 1.25'' eyepieces can of course be used.
The optical tube can easily be moved inside the tube rings in order to find the optimal balance and observing position. This is another virtue of this highly versatile telescope system: Remove the optical tube from the dobsonian telescope mount and use the optics on a equatorial mount - in minutes. This telescope is setting a new standard in usability, versatility and performance in its price class. Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design “Newton” are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest BRESSER refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing.

NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 6 inch Planetary Dobson is something very special. Despite its low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality, which you sometimes look for in the considerably more expensive devices in vain. With an aperture diameter of 150 mm and a focal length of 1200 mm of this high quality BRESSER newtonian optics, the observation of the moon, the planets and planetary nebulae is particularly well possible. Craters and grooves of the moon as well as the fast changing shadows cast by the so-called terminator line are exciting observation targets. Saturn with its impressive ring, Jupiter with its bands of clouds and the movement of its easily visible moons, the crescent shape of Venus and the glowing red Mars are good examples of what this telescope can be used for.
Because of the long basic focal length you can easily achieve the high magnifications required for this purpose with this telescope. You do not need expensive special eyepieces. In short, this is a telescope primarily for detailed observation. Nevertheless bright deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula or the galaxies Messier 81 and 82 etc. can be observed as well.
Also photography is no problem with this tube. Here is another strength of this telescope: if you want to take pictures, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and put them on a EQ mount with an optionally available dovetail rail - and nothing more stands in the way of astrophotography. The included eyepiece adapter has the common T2 connection thread (M42x0.75mm), to which almost every standard camera can be attached. Only the camera specific T2 adapter ring is additionally required. Of course, also common USB planetary cameras with 1.25 inch or 2 inch plug diameter can be used directly with this telescope. With the original equipment you can observe immediately - an optical 6x30 viewfinder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece are included. For those who want to transport the device as compact as possible, the new 6'' BRESSER Messier Planet Dobson makes it very easy - the rocker box can be disassembled in a few easy steps, because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors. So a bulky rocker box quickly turns into a handy flat package of boards.
A telescope whose versatility, performance and user-friendliness set new standards in this price class. Please note that Newtonian reflector telescopes are very good for astronomical observations of the starry sky, but are not well suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day. For nature and landscape observations we therefore recommend BRESSER lens telescopes. FEATURES Optical design: reflector telescopeMirror diameter: 150 mm / focal length: 1200 mm / F/8Maximum recommended magnification: 300xTelescope for night and solar observation High quality BRESSER Newton optics Ideal telescope for planets, moon, double stars and planetary nebulae Sun observation through the included sun filter possibleStable and smooth 2 inch 50.8mm Rack and Pinion focuser Main mirror made of special glass with low thermal expansion Easy to move metal tube for balancing Demountable rocker box with accessory tray Tube mounting on altitude wheels using tube clamps Use of the optics also on other mounts Different sized adjustment and counter screws on the mirror cell Viewing height at zenith: approx. 115cm (suitable for children and teenagers) Tube weight: 8.3 kg Basic weight: 7,8 kg Total weight: 16,1 kg Dimensions ready to use telescope: 45 x 45 x 128 cm Shipping dimensions 1 carton: 47x47x84cm, 18kg SCOPE OF DELIVERY Optical tube Dobson Telescope Mount (disassembled for self assembly) Aperture Solar Filter Optical 6x30 viewfinder 25mm SuperPlössl eyepiece (Ø 31.7 mm / 1.25 inch') 1 Extension tube 25mm for 2 inch focuser 1 Eyepiece adapter diameter 31.7 to 50.8 mm 2 Tube clamps 2 Altitude wheels
The new BRESSER Messier 12" Dobson enhances this well-liked telescope series while providing great portability due to its lightweight fibreglass telescope tube.
Despite its low price, it offers a variety of functions as well as quality that you would not find in considerably more expensive devices. Thanks to the powerful telescope aperture of 305 mm, you get significantly more light-gathering capacity than with the smaller models and are therefore not limited to observing the moon and the planets of our solar system - you can already look far out into the universe and observe globular clusters, nebulae and galaxies with even greater brightness. Details become visible in most deep-sky objects: globular clusters are clearly resolved into individual stars and gas nebulae, which can only be guessed at with smaller devices, show structure. The device is unrivalled in its versatility: The excellent large Hexafoc focuser has an aperture of 65 mm - so there is no noticeable obstruction from the focuser tube even with large wide-field eyepieces. Thanks to the large altitude wheels, even these heavier eyepieces are held effortlessly. And if a particularly large number of accessories is attached, such as a binocular attachment, then the entire tube can be moved inside the tube clamps - and everything is balanced again in a flash. The unrivalled rigidity of the focuser makes focusing easy - so photography with this tube is also possible. This is another strength of this universal telescope: if you want to take photos, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and attach it to an equatorial mount using a dovetail bar - so there's nothing standing in the way of astrophotography. An optional 10:1 gear reduction for the focuser is available for the highest demands. Considering that the focuser is the most frequently used part of the telescope, the use of the Hexafoc in this device is a quantum leap for this price range. With the initial equipment, you can start observing immediately - a 6x30 finder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece are included in the scope of delivery. Various other viewfinder types can also be retrofitted using the 2 new hybrid viewfinder shoes (Art. 0620158) supplied as standard. In addition, the new 12" BRESSER Messier makes it easy to transport the device as compactly as possible - the rocker box can be dismantled in a few simple steps because the parts are assembled with metal quick-release connectors. This quickly turns a bulky rocker box into a handy flat package of individual parts. A telescope whose versatility, performance and user-friendliness set new standards in this price class. Includes a high-quality objective solar filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits. A BRESSER premium telescope for night and solar observation. NOTE: Please note that "Newtonian" reflector telescopes are very good for astronomical observations in the starry sky, but are not well suited for nature and landscape observations during the day. We therefore recommend BRESSER refracting telescopes for nature and landscape observations.
