Due to the short focal length this telescope provides large and bright fields of view. Don't forget to observe the Anrdomeda Galaxy with the BRESSER Messier AR-127S! The glow of this object that you can observe from the immense distance of 2 million lightyears is as spectacular as it is to watch large nebulae with the Messier AR-127S. Because of the large aperture it is even possible to use nebular filters on the Messer AR-127S. These filters can enhance the appearance of emission nebulae to en astonishing contrast level. streetlights. The night sky is not really dark in the vicinity of towns
or cities, which reduces the visibility of objects beyond the solar
systems enormously. Depending on the type of the celestial object it is
possible to increase the contrast dramatically by blocking the annoying artificial light. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC O-III filter uses a characteristic property of the so called emission nebulae.
Those objects glow in special colours, the so called emission lines.
Those emission lines are linked to chemical elements - in this case

Besides air turbulence, the brightening of the night sky is the biggest obstacle to observing faint objects beyond the solar system. Street lamps and other artificial lighting mean that the sky in human settlements is no longer really black. This affects the contrast and thus the perception of deep-sky objects. Depending on the type of celestial object, however, part of disturbing artificial light can be filtered out, making it easier to observe fainter targets.The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC CITY LIGHT SUPRESSION - or CLS - filter uses the fact that the artificial lighting is not evenly distributed over the entire spectrum. Enables the use of eyepieces and accessories with 2" barrel, so that a wider field of view can be reached. A larger light beam and a comfortable observation position is achieved by this 2 inch zenith mirror. Especially for use with refractors and for zenith observations a useful accessory. The clamping ring is made of brass, so there will be no scratch marks on your high-quality eyepiece. The precise clamping

The BRESSER zoom eyepiece covers the large focal length range from 8 to 24 mm. These are also the focal lengths most frequently used with most telescopes. Especially for instant observations, where you don't want to pack a whole suitcase full of eyepieces, the zoom eyepiece is a good choice.
Always the ideal magnification on hand
A quick turn and the ideal magnification for you is set. The adjustment is stepless from 8 to 24 mm focal length. This eliminates the need to always change eyepieces.
Comfortable viewing
The BRESSER zoom eyepiece offers a large comfortable eye relief of 20 mm to the eyepiece lens (LER = long eye relief). This means comfortable viewing even during longer observation, an important criterion especially for people with glasses. The rubber eyecup can also be individually adjusted by a twist and turn movement. Apparent field of view is 40 up to 56 degrees which offers a good overview.
Advanced optical design
To achieve the best possible image over the entire focal length range, a sophisticated optical design with 8 lenses in 5 groups is used. The full multi-coating on all lens surfaces also guarantees maximum light transmission. To effectively suppress unwanted reflections, all lenses are carefully blackened at the edges. Thus, the image produced offers the maximum possible contrast and image brightness.
Compact and solid design
The BRESSER zoom eyepiece is made entirely of black anodised aluminium. It has an extremely solid and high-quality material appearance and is long-lived even with extensive use. The precise zoom mechanism can be operated safely through the ribbed metal adjustment ring. A white laser engraving with focal length and pointer arrow indicates the currently set focal length even in low light.

Despite of its low price this telesccope offers a versatility and quality rivaling a lot more expensive telecopes. The optical diameter of 203mm (8'') does not restrict your observations on solar system objects like the moon or the planets - you can reach farther into the sky and explore globular and open clusters, nebulae and galaxies. With that telescope those objects are beginning to show structures: globular clusters are no longer only fuzzy blobs, but are resolved into masses of individual stars. Nebulae, that can only be barely detected in smaller scopes, reveal structures within. The telescope is setting a new standard in versatility: the excellent Hexafoc focuser boosts a free diameter of 65mm (2,5'') so that you do not have vignetting in big widefield eyepieces that is caused by smaller focuser barrels. The big altitude wheels handle those big, heavy eyepieces without problems - and when you intend to load even more (like a binocular viewer with two eyepieces) then you can move the tube in its tube rings and achieve balance within seconds. The excellent rigidity of the focuser makes focusing a snap - even for astrophotography. This is another virtue of this highly versatile telescope system: you can remove the altitude wheels from the tube rings, attach a dovetail and use the optical tube on a equatorial mount for astrophotography - in minutes. The focuser is handling even heavy cameras tilt and shifting-free. You are extremely demanding in your image sharpness? No problem - with the optional 10:1 gear reduction sharp images are easy. If you consider, that the focuser is that part of the telescope that is used most often, you will recognize the quantum leap this Hexafoc represents in a telescope of this price range.
With the included standard accessories (6x30 finder and 25mm SPL-eyepiece) the telescope is ready for observing.
If you need to transport or store the telescope as compact as possible you will like this: the rocker box of the 8'' BRESSER Messier assembles and disassembles extremely easy and fast due to the use of metal standard furniture fasteners. So you can transform the bulky rocker box into a handy flat package of boards.
