The included wired hand controller lets you dial in focus from a distance without laying a finger on the telescope. For astrophotography, this is a genuine game-changer: imaging sessions run uninterrupted and your focus stays locked in from first light to the end of the night. Autofocus and broad software compatibility
The EAF integrates smoothly with the most popular astro software packages. The ASCOM driver covers the vast majority of Windows-based applications, while full INDI and INDIGO support makes it equally at home on Mac and Linux. As the night progresses, temperature drops can cause the telescope tube and optics to contract slightly – enough to nudge your focus point off target.
