Warning notes
  • Check the solar filter before every solar observation and ensure that it is not damaged. Hold it against a strong light source to detect any possible cracks and/or holes. Do not use the telescope for solar observation, even if the solar filter is only slightly damaged. In this case, contact the manufacturer for the appropriate replacement parts.
  • Always use the included solar filter when observing the sun. Make sure it is correctly attached to the telescope according to the instructions. The use of the solar filter is only intended in connection with this telescope.
  • Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
  • Check the secure fit of the solar filter before each solar observation. An accidental detachment from the objective opening can lead to immediate and permanent eye damage and blindness.
  • If the solar filter cannot be securely attached to the tube, improve the fit by placing several self-adhesive felt strips or similar between the solar filter and the objective opening. Never use the solar filter if it cannot be properly mounted on the telescope. In such a case, always contact our customer service first.
  • Be extremely cautious when observing the sun. A brief look through the unprotected optics will immediately cause severe eye damage, potentially leading to complete blindness.
  • Children should not look at the sun through the telescope, even with the filter properly installed. Never leave children unsupervised.
  • Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
  • Do not observe the sun after eye surgeries or other eye conditions without prior medical consultation.
  • Wrinkles/creases in the film are normal and do not indicate a product defect.
  • Do not expose the device to high temperatures.
  • BATTERY WARNING AND SAFETY Safe handling and use of batteries and accumulators Read and follow these instructions before using the battery or accumulator. The BRESSER Telescope Camera Adapter is the connecting piece between your 35 mm DSLR camera and the telescope. The connection to your camera can be achieved with the fitting T2-mount (T2-mount optional). For the focal fotography, you need to unscrew the bottom part of the adapter and attach the camera with the fitting T2-mount directly to the push-on contact. The eyepiece projection is possible when you put an eyepiece into the adapter and tighten the knurled screw. Mount and Tripod. The BRESSER EXOS 2 is a rugged mount with high rigidity and precision tracking for visual observation and astrophotography. The tripod is extremely rigid to suppress vibrations really well. This model is very well machined and has an illuminated polar finder scope and precise graduated circles. A powered twoaxis control (BRESSER Exos Duo) or a GoTo-Kit is available as an optional extra. The BRESSER EXOS 2 can take the weight - depending on length and use of up to 13 kg. Camera-Adapter M35/T2 for Bresser MC/MCX-100 and MC/MCX-127 Maksutov telescopes The BRESSER Camera-Adapter M35/T2 for MC/MCX100/127 is principally designed to connect a DSLR camera (with appropriate manufacturer-specific T2 T-ring, available separately) to the Bresser MC-100 and MC-127 Maksutov telescopes which have a built-in M35 connecting thread. You can also use wider-bodied astronomical cameras (non-c-mount), which have T2 threads built into their bodies, as standard with this camera adapter. This adapter can be separated into two different lengths of 30mm and 80mm (which both truncate in a T2/M42 thread). The use of these different lengths of extension tube allows the user to vary the projection of image on to a camera chip and get the best framing for the size of object being imaged. The new BRESSER NANO AZ telescopic mount has been developed to ensure quick and easy operation. The mount is as easy to use as a photo tripod, it is just more stable and easily carries telescopes weighing up to 4 kg. The mount can be easily swivelled by hand to the left, right, up and down, making it really easy to use and with a weight of only 3.4kg, the mount is also easy to transport. Ideal for the easy entry, as a travel mount or for "quick observations". The telescopes are securely held by a clamp for 44mm prism rails, the so-called GP Level. This is an international manufacturer-independent standard, whereby all telescopes with such a GP prism rail can be installed on this mount. For example our BRESSER MESSIER lens telescopes AR-90s, AR-102xs, AR-102s, or our small Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes MC-90 and MC-102. Camera-Adapter M35/T2 for Bresser MC/MCX-100 and MC/MCX-127 Maksutov telescopes The BRESSER Camera-Adapter M35/T2 for MC/MCX100/127 is principally designed to connect a DSLR camera (with appropriate manufacturer-specific T2 T-ring, available separately) to the Bresser MC-100 and MC-127 Maksutov telescopes which have a built-in M35 connecting thread. You can also use wider-bodied astronomical cameras (non-c-mount), which have T2 threads built into their bodies, as standard with this camera adapter. This adapter can be separated into two different lengths of 30mm and 80mm (which both truncate in a T2/M42 thread). The use of these different lengths of extension tube allows the user to vary the projection of image on to a camera chip and get the best framing for the size of object being imaged. Admire open star clusters, globular clusters and so-called planetary nebulae such as the impressive Dumbbell Nebula M27. Really sharp images with up to 200x magnification – no problem thanks to the resolution of the 100 mm aperture! From a purely technical point of view, even more is possible in terms of magnification. However, increasing magnification often results in a loss of image sharpness. Moreover, the telescope is not the only factor when it comes to the question of how high you can magnify. The equatorial design has a decisive advantage: Unlike azimuthal models, you have to compensate for the movement of the celestial bodies on just one axis. To do this, you align this particular axis of the equatorial mount parallel to the Earth's axis by pointing it approximately at the polar star – also known as "alignment". Thanks to the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment, tracking and adjusting the telescope is extremely comfortable and precise.
