SCOPE OF DELIVERY
The BRESSER Messier NT-150/1200 telescope excels with high rigidity and tack-sharp
optics. The 150mm aperture enables you to observe bright nebulas in the
depth of space. Find the remnants of a gigantic stellar explosion from
the year 1054 in the Taurean constellation, or scan the glowing bands of
the great Orion Nebula. Detect the famous Whirlpool Galaxy in the Big
Dipper or find the Dumpbell-Nebula in the constellation Vulpecula
(little fox). The high rigidity of the EXOS-2 mount allows for relaxed
observations and is helpful for those making their first attempts at
astrophotography.
Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design “Newton” are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest BRESSER refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing.

One of the most important obstacles for the exploration of the night sky
is the brightening of the night sky by artificial lights, such as
streetlights. The night sky is not really dark in the vicinity of towns
or cities, which reduces the visibility of objects beyond the solar
systems enormously. Depending on the type of the celestial object it is
possible to increase the contrast dramatically by blocking the annoying artificial light. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC O-III filter uses a characteristic property of the so called emission nebulae.
Those objects glow in special colours, the so called emission lines.
Those emission lines are linked to chemical elements - in this case
oxygen. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC O-III nebula filter blocks all other colours (and thereby nearly all of the artificial light) and only the two emission lines of the oxygen can pass the filter.

Besides air turbulence, the brightening of the night sky is the biggest obstacle to observing faint objects beyond the solar system. Street lamps and other artificial lighting mean that the sky in human settlements is no longer really black. This affects the contrast and thus the perception of deep-sky objects. Depending on the type of celestial object, however, part of disturbing artificial light can be filtered out, making it easier to observe fainter targets.The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC CITY LIGHT SUPRESSION - or CLS - filter uses the fact that the artificial lighting is not evenly distributed over the entire spectrum. This one really supports the detection of the dark areas on the planet Mars. The details of the clouds of Saturn and Jupiter are also so much more visible through the Filter.

Watching the Moon surface through the filter, the contrasts will enormously increase. Same with planet Mars. On the huge planet Jupiter, when using the filter, you can even see the contrasts between the cloud-bands and a lot more details. Starting with a telescope diameter of 8“ and a clear sight, you even get to see various details of Saturn.
Explore Scientific Filter 1.25" Blue No.80A - 0310264
The color of light blue really supports watching the high clouds on Mars. The contrast increases. The dark red structures will be shown even darker, so this is the perfect filter for watching the big red Flecks on the gas planet Jupiter. The rings of Saturn will be accentuated, the structures of the Venus Atmosphere will be even finer.
What ist a color Filter for and do we really need it?
Color Filters darken the light slightly, that reaches the eye or the sensor of the camera. This eliminates for instance stronger transitions. The result is that your picture turns out with more contrast which automatically shows more details.

The AXD 2 mount in detail:
Robust construction and lightweight housing with 30 kg load capacity (photographic)
The RA and DEC axes are made using the A7075 superalloy, one the strongest aluminium alloys. The stability of the A7075 superalloy is stronger than titanium, which is known for its strength as a lightweight material. Its thickness is 38% less than titanium. Using the A7075 superalloy for the axes ensures that the AXD mount is both lightweight and stable.
21 bearings
The rotating parts of the AXD mount have a total of 21 bearings. These ensure uniform motion in order to swivel the telescope and track objects.
Stepper motors
Vixen uses precise stepper motors for the mount in order to ensure optimal performance. The motors are controlled via a micro-step motion control system, which eliminates the disadvantage of stepper motors with large steps. The system generates 400 impulses per second at a high speed. This results in very quiet scanning with no vibrations. The stepper motors on the AXD mount have sufficient torques. This is most significant when working at high magnifications and photographing with a CCD camera with small pixel sizes.
Worm gears
The sizes of the worm gears were increased in the latest Atlux version. The AXD mount has 270 teeth in the RA axis and 216 teeth in the DC axis. Both axes are 50 mm in diameter. This ensures that the mount operates with precision and stability.
Low backlash
The Vixen micro-step motion control system ensures that the stepper motors run uniformly at low and high speeds. This eliminates the need for reduction gears in the motor and therefore reduces the backlash in the gears.
Elegant design
The flat sides of the mount were designed based on previous generations of the New Atlux range. The white and silver housing provides a modern and elegant exterior with high functionality.
The AXD is the flagship model in the Vixen mount range.
Original motor layout
The solid RA and DEC motor units are arranged in the lower part of the mount. This means that they automatically act as a counterweight. As a result, you require far fewer weights on the counterweight bar. On small devices, no counterweight is required. The counterweight bar can be slid fully into the housing.
Polar finder scope
The AXD mount is equipped with a 6x20 polar finder as standard. The polar finder features an integrated scale, which provides a quick and easy way to polar align the telescope in the northern hemisphere.
For observations in southern latitudes, the polar finder features an image of the Octans constellation, which can be aligned with the night sky.
VPEC periodic error correction
Periodic errors on mounts are usually measured and corrected by the user. Unlike the old StarBook controller, the STAR BOOK TEN controller saves these errors permanently. The periodic error of the mount is measured in the factory and corrected before delivery. This is known as VPEC and functions automatically as soon as you use the mount.
It delivers an accuracy of +/- 2.8 arc seconds. You can increase the tracking accuracy further by saving your own recorded periodic errors.
The VMC 260 in detail
The optics of the VMC260L are significantly better than the traditional Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Despite its high 3000 mm focal length, it is just 650 mm long.
Featuring a large 260 mm aperture, the telescope collects large amounts of light for serious professional observations and photography of the planets and countless deep-sky objects.
Thanks to the dielectric mirrors, the VMV260L guarantees razor-sharp images and maximum brightness. The open lens barrels cool the telescope quicker than conventional closed Cassegrain systems.
The telescope can be used with an optional 0.62x focal reducer to reduce the aperture ratio to 1:7.1. This shortens the exposure times and allows you to photograph large objects. The telescope comes with a standard dovetail bar and a carry handle that doubles up as a camera holder for night sky photography.

Discover the possibilities and forge new paths with the Nebula EXOS-2 Goto Mount!Mount and TripodThe BRESSER EXOS-2 is a stable mount with a high load capacity and precise tracking for visual observations and astrophotography. Double radial groove ball bearings in both axes ensure precise, smooth motion, and the RA axis bearing has been optimized to reduce backlash. Additionally, the tripod is reinforced to further suppress vibrations. The BRESSER EXOS-2 can be loaded with up to 13 kg of optics for purely visual use depending on the length and purpose!Nebula: the powerful and flexible Goto systemWith the new Nebula Goto system, set off for new astronomical shores. This system offers several control options. You can operate the mount directly via its own Nebula control interface using your smartphone or tablet (iOS and Android supported). Alternatively, you can also use a planetarium software such as SkySafari. Manual control remains an option as well. For this, a hand box for minor corrections or simple control commands is included.Furthermore, with the BRESSER Nebula Goto Kit, you can connect your laptop or PC directly via WIFI or LAN cable (recommended for faster data transfer) to the Nebula control unit. This not only gives you full control over the mount but also allows you to connect various devices such as cameras, motor focus, filter wheels, etc. directly to the control unit via various USB ports. This eliminates the need to connect each device to your computer via cables. The pre-installed program KStars / EKOS lets you comfortably control all devices from your PC or laptop. Electronic polar alignment or guiding can also be easily achieved with the Goto Kit, provided you have a camera connected. You are also not limited to the software of the Nebula control unit. Thanks to the installed ASCOM Alpaca driver, you can use your own programs on your computer to control the mount - whether it's Stellarium or N.I.N.A. The two stepper motors with a belt drive ensure a smooth, direct drive of the two axes. It's only important to have a good balance.
