BRESSER Messier 10" Telescope Dobson
NEW - now including a high-quality lens solar filter for the safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits. A high quality telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 10 "Dobsonian is something very special. Despite the low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality that are sometimes unavailable in considerably more expensive telescopes. With its 254 mm diameter optics, this telescope is not limited to solar system observation of the Moon and brighter planets - you can also observe far out into the universe and see globular clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Details become visible in most deep-sky objects: globular clusters are broken down into individual stars and nebulae, which are only hinted at in smaller scopes, show considerable structure. This Dobsonian is unsurpassed in versatility within its price range: the excellent, large Hexafoc focuser has an opening of 65 mm - so even with large wide-field eyepieces, there is no noticeable vignetting from the eyepiece extension tube. The large elevation wheels also hold the telescope level with just the right amount of "sticktion", even when heavier eyepieces are used. And when a lot of heavier accessories are attached, such as the Bresser Binoviewer attachment, then the entire telescope tube can be moved within the tube rings - and everything is balanced again in a flash. The unsurpassed rigidity of the focuser makes it easy to focus - photography with this OTA is no problem either as the supplied extension tube for the focuser can be removed and a camera easily bought to a prime focus position. This is another strength of this universal telescope: if you want to take photos, you can simply unscrew the elevation wheels from the tube and place it on an equatorial mount with a standard dovetail rail - other rival Dobsonians do not offer this level of flexibility or pathway to more expansive astrophotography use. An optional dual speed 10:1 gear reduction for the focuser is available for those who need extra fine control of focus. If you consider that the focuser is the telescope part that is used most often, the supply of the Hexafoc on this telescope is a quantum leap for this price range. With the initial equipment you can observe immediately - a 6x30 viewfinder and a 25mm SPL eyepiece are included within the package.  If you want to transport the device as compactly as possible, it is easy with the new 10 "BRESSER Messier - the rocker box can be dismantled in a few simple steps, as the parts are assembled with metal quick-release connectors. A bulky rocker box quickly becomes a handy flat package of boards within a few minutes. This is a telescope whose versatility, performance and ease of use set new standards in this price range. Please note that while Newtonian type reflecting telescopes are very good for astronomical observations in the night sky, they not well-suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day. We therefore recommend BRESSER refracting or Cassegrain designs of telescopes for additional nature and landscape observations.PROPERTIESType: mirror telescopeMirror diameter: 254mm / focal length: 1270mm / F / 5Maximum useful magnification: 508 timesTelescope for night and solar observation2.5" HEXAFOC focuserMain mirror made of special glass, with low thermal expansionHassle-free focusing, even with heavy accessoriesEasy to move tubeDismountable rocker boxTube mounting on altitude bikes using clampsUse of the optics on other mounts as wellAdjustment and construction screws of different sizesBase diameter 54cmWhat's IncludedTube with Newtonian opticsFull aperture Solar filter6x30 viewfinder25mm Super Plössl eyepiece (Ø 31.7 mm / 1.25 ")1 extension tube 37.5mm for 2.5 " Hexafoc1 eyepiece adapter 1.25" to 2"/31.7 to 50.8 mm2 Tube Rings2 Altitude support wheelsRocker box with 2 base plates and mounting material (disassembled for self-assembly)Shipping dimensions Box1: 134x44x44cm - 19.0kgShipping dimensions Box2: 61x61x24cm - 17.0kg

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Ultra Light Dobsonian 254mm GENERATION II
Ultra Light Dobsonian 254mm GENERATION II - with completely redesigned and improved construction. No telescope type has influenced amateur astronomy as radically as the dobsonian telescope. Before the introduction of this telescope type by John Dobson the vast majority of amateur telescopes were small inadequate refractors on shaky mounts - just good enough to show the polar regions on mars or the rings of Saturn. Bigger telescopes, like the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, were restricted to the relatively small group of amateurs that could afford them. The brilliant combination of simple - but effective - mechanics and the largest aperture available led to a worldwide triumph of this concept. No other telescope type offers you so much light for your money as a good dobson. We have taken the motto "held together by gravity and driven by yoghurt power" and offer a modern version of the classic - designed by amateur astronomers for amateur astronomers. Despite its large aperture the telescope can be transported easily even in small cars and is assembled within minutes without tools. The construction was optimized for maximum rigidity with a minimum of mass. The combination of big altitude wheels and a optimized aluminium-sandwich construction allows for small movements even at high magnifications. The focus position is already positioned to accept our coma-corrector. The ideal workhorse for the deep-sky enthusiast. A telescope with 254mm aperture gathers more than 1300-times more light than the naked eye. Details on planetary surfaces stand out even to unexperienced observers, and countless deep-sky objects show details. Bright globular clusters are resolved down to the core and the view of the lunar terminator will provide a unforgettable experience.Dimensions for mobile use: Rockerbox 395mmx395mmx310mm; Mirrorbox 330mmx330mmx295mm; Trusses approx.700mmEyepiece Height while pointing at zenith approximately 1,15m; 10“ Net total weight: 26,4 kg; 10“ Mirror Box: 14 kg; 10“ Secondary cage +Rockerbox: 9,7kg; 10“ 4 Pairs of trusses: 1,5kg; 10“ Altitude Wheels: 1,2kg ; Focuser thread: M54 x 0.75 mm. Backfocus: 45mm behind the 2" eyepiece holder. 35mm when the 1.25" adapter is mountedSPECIFICATIONS Truss-Dobsonian Telescope in full Aluminium constructionNEW: Slider bearings made from TEFLON und GFK for smooth and precise movementNEW: Improved main mirror cell with completely redesigned mechanicsNEW: Altitude bearings with new designed brake and friction systemNEW: Universal finder slot to enable an easy finder upgradeNEW: Quick-lock fasteners with new springloaded design for comfortable useNEW: Powder-coated yellow altitude wheels to improve durabilityNEW: Laser engraved central mark on main mirrorSCOPE OF DELIVERYTruss Dobsonian TelescopeLED finder with standard finder slotStray light shield for secondary cageMain mirror collimation toolBattery compartment with bag for fansExtension tube for focuserReducer 2"/1.25"Manual

Get fascinated by the unique experience of observing the sun but also the wonderful starry night ! We are proud to present the BRESSER Solarix 114/500 - the first all in one Newtonian telescope package that enables you to observe the sun. With a certified quality at a sensational price point. The telescope arrives completely assembled - observation can start immediately. It was never easier for the public to observe the night sky and the sun so easily, cheap and - last but not least - safe. The solar filter that was especially designed for this telescope makes it possible. It contains a special foil that protects the eye against all kinds of solar radiation during observations: infrared, ultraviolet and visible light is dampened to a safe level. Only a safe amount of the visible spectrum can pass the filter and creates a wonderful solar image in the eyepiece. The safety feature of this filter was checked by an independent quality assurance company. Do you want to capture what you see? With the included smartphone holder bracket, you can use your smartphone to easily take colour pictures of celestial objects - like through a telephoto lens! But the BRESSER Solarix 114/500 is of course also ready to be used for observing astronomical objects in the night sky. The featured accessories are everything you need for an immediate start. The newtonian reflector is equipped with a extensive manual and set up in almost no time. The telescope arrives completely assembled - observation can start immediately. Vixen SXD2WL R200SS Telescope Set
Complete SXD2WL R200SS Newton Telescope Set with GoTo Mount, Tripod and EyepiecesThis high-quality Newton telescope set impresses with its large 200 mm aperture and fast f-ratio for photography. The telescope is manufactured in Japan and scores with its excellent workmanship, sharpness, and contrast performance. The advantage of this telescope lies in its low weight and short focal length. Thus, it is perfectly suited for large deep-sky objects. You will be amazed when observing the moon's surface with its craters or Saturn with its ring system. On Jupiter, in a good night many small details in the cloud bands will be visible, such as the Great Red Spot on the planet. In moonless nights, you can observe the Andromeda Nebula, Orion Nebula, Eagle Nebula, Lagoon Nebula and many other interesting fainter objects. The brighter globular clusters can also be easily resolved into individual stars. The fast f/4 ratio makes this telescope perfect for photography. With it, you can quickly achieve a great photo and don't need endlessly long exposure times. Optimise the image quality with the optional flattener Art. No. X000150. This flattener optimises the image up to the corners of a full-frame DSLR camera. The large 60 mm eyepiece drawtube of the telescope also allows for mounting heavy cameras without tilting. The stable metal tripod allows for a vibration-free setup of the telescope and mount even in windy weather. The SXD2WL mount is easily operated via a Wifi module with a smartphone or tablet. The user-friendly control of the mount is available through the free STAR BOOK Wireless app. This enables you to utilise practical features of celestial navigation, such as automatic GoTo swivelling to specific celestial objects, very easily via your smartphone or tablet. As the power consumption of the conventional LCD screen (STAR BOOK TEN) is eliminated, the power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%. This makes longer astronomical observations and astrophotography possible. When you tap the desired celestial object from a list, it automatically swivels into the telescope's field of view, and tracking begins. An existing STAR BOOK TEN controller can also be used on this mount without any problems. Equipped with the same precision stepper motors as the flagship model, the AXD mount, the SXD2WL introduces a new standard of performance and precision in the Vixen mount family. The cross of axes of the mount has a photographic carrying capacity of 15 kg while weighing only 9.2 kg, making it excellent for mobile observations. Additionally, the motors located in the lower part of the mount also serve as counterweights. This means that the mount requires fewer weights for balance. Details of the SXD2 Mount Precision stepper motors and Micro-Step Motion Control System The heart of the SXD2 is the precision stepper motors, offering better performance and response than previous models. The Micro-Step Motion Control System features powerful yet very quiet drive properties, suitable for both fine movements and rapid swivels. Built-in bearings The bearings of the RA and DEC axes and the worm shafts have been significantly improved to reduce the load on the motors. As a result, the motors move much quieter than in previous models. High-precision worm gears Advanced manufacturing technologies have eliminated errors in worm gear drives. The edges of both the worms and worm gears are exceptionally smooth, allowing very precise tracking. Declination axis as counterweight The massive motor units are built into the lower part of the declination axis, lowering the centre of gravity of the SXD2 right below the intersection of the RA and DEC axes. This reduces the need for additional counterweights. Latitude adjustment The latitude is adjustable between 0 and 70 degrees (divided into 3 zones and adjustable +/- 15 degrees per zone, for high, medium, and low latitudes); latitude scale in 2-degree steps; fine adjustment with a tangent screw head, about 0.8 degree per turn. Built-in PFL-II polar finder with lighting The built-in 5x20 mm polar finder with a 10° field of view has a 3-star alignment system. This eliminates the tedious setting of date and time. The illuminated reticle with variable brightness and automatic shutdown is adjustable in 8 stages and illuminated in red. The alignment accuracy is 3 arc minutes. Details of the Wireless Module The Vixen Wifi adapter for EQ mounts enables you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. With the smartphone app STAR BOOK Wireless (free), celestial navigation becomes easy and wireless. Thus, the app instantly turns your mobile device into a controller for the equatorial mount. The response delay of the mount, the biggest disadvantage of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired solutions. Reduced power consumption compared to traditional controllers with LCD monitor The power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, enabling longer observations than with traditional wired controllers such as the STAR BOOK TEN. Operation similar to the STAR BOOK TEN controller The STAR BOOK Wireless App is set up similarly to the STAR BOOK TEN controller. Depending on the star chart setting, it contains up to 259,000 celestial objects. Tap on a celestial object in the object list and start the GoTo. The mount now automatically moves to this target and brings it into the field of view of the telescope. All popular features of the STAR BOOK TEN are retained. Convenient operation While looking through the telescope, you control the mount by swiping across the star chart in the app. Since there are no buttons, you simply glide your finger across the star chart to comfortably operate the mount. Comprehensive astronomical data included This includes data on easily observable celestial bodies such as Messier objects, NGC objects, IC objects, as well as the sun, moon, planets, comets, and dwarf planets. High-precision alignment Alignment on one or two stars already provides a fairly accurate positioning of the mount. Aligning on three or more stars allows for very precise alignment of the mount for high magnifications. The objects are then precisely and centrally placed in the field of view of your telescope. The alignment information is saved and can also be retained when the device is turned off. By leaving the telescope in its current state after an observation, without moving it, you can start the next observation with the same settings. Individual adjustment options The app offers various individual settings like gear play compensation, red night mode, autoguider, variable GoTo speed, and LED brightness, similar to the STAR BOOK TEN controller. You can also set the timing of the objective tube reversal (Meridian Flip) as desired. Even if the object moves south during tracking, you can prevent the telescope tube from reversing. Important Information Not usable on old SX mounts with the old blue Star Book Technical Information about the Wifi Module CPU with 32-bit CISC processor 120 MHz The unit is connected to the mount with a D-SUB 9PIN connector, just like with the STAR BOOK TEN. It features a 6-pin 6-wire modular connector for external autoguider operation.
