FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

The BRESSER Meteo Temp weather station has a clearly arranged display, on which you can always read the current time and date because of the DCF radio signal. Furthermore, the weather station offers information about the temperature for inside and outside. The outdoor values are supplied by the outdoor sensor which is included in the scope of delivery. A graphical weather trend display shows you the weather trend for the coming hours. Due to the extra-large display, senior citizens and people with impaired vision keep track of the weather very easily as well. The rectilinear design adapts to any interior decoration and does not require visible switches.
