Practical set consisting of the MikroCam Mini HDMI and a 13.3" monitor that can be mounted directly on the camera. It is ideal for presentations and documentation. The camera has a C-Mount connection. Therefore, an adapter may be required.The Microscope Camera in DetailThe MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a particularly compact HDMI camera. A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in teaching. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120). The HDMI connection is easy to make and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Thanks to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved and the image always has a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and is delay-free. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation is to be digitised, for example in quality control or manufacturing. The supplied USB mouse is connected for control. This allows the three menus (camera settings, measurement* and display) to be controlled. *To take measurements with the camera, a calibration slide is required (e.g. item no.: 5916710 or 5916720). The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible. Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for this. The USB port is only used to control the camera with the mouse. The screen delivers brilliant images without artefacts, as the display has the same resolution as the output image of the camera. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC. The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual and simultaneously view the image on the monitor. The display delivers optimal image quality with a wide viewing angle of 178°! This allows several people to view the image without loss of quality. The image from the microscope camera is displayed on the HDMI screen always delay-free and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. Displaying via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work under microscopic control is to be carried out. Many users also benefit from the improved ergonomics when the image can be viewed on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture are unpleasant for eye problems such as floaters (vitreous opacities). Digital viewing can provide relief here. The display can be powered with the supplied Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable, short, angled HDMI cable is also included, so cable clutter at the workstation is avoided. This is an all purpose instrument amongst the BRESSER microscopes: Being a stereo microscope, which is manufactured in high quality, it offers the option of the biological style, too. The zoom stereo microscope BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable for a wide variety of objects. Because of the Greenough design with two tilted objectives, you can view the sample in 3D. The three-dimensional view is also very helpful when working under the microscope, e.g. when soldering, dissecting or preparing a sample.The precise zoom enables you to view your sample in a wide range of magnifications from 1x to 4x (zoom ratio 4.0). When zooming, only slight refocussing is necessary. To do this, the Advance ICD microscope is equipped with a very precise, coaxial coarse and fine focus. The fine focus is especially helpful when using high magnifications or for imaging. When doing focus stacking with our MikroCam cameras (optional) the fine focus is also a big help.The interpupillary distance of the eyepiece pair is adjustable. Both eyepiece holders are equipped with diopter adjustment, which allows users with bad eyesight to compensate up to 8 dpt. difference between left and right eye. The 10x wide field eyepieces have field number (FN) 22 and are equipped with soft rubber eyecups. The microscope head can be moved on the long rod of the stand, which allows you to observe big samples up to a size of 22 cm.The angle of the bright LED reflected light illumination can be adjusted as necessary. The BRESSER MikroCam Pro HDMI Autofocus delivers excellent image quality with ease of use. The microscopic image is transferred in Full HD resolution and without delay to a HDMI monitor or TV screen. An optional 11" HDMI screen is available under item code 5914110 and can be mounted on the camera directly. It gives brilliant images with high contrast. Microscope images and video can now be stored on a SD card. The Sony Sensor gives excellent image quality and is very light sensitive. So this camera is recommended for low light contrast methods like darkfield or phase contrast. The autofocus enables the user to focus without using the mechanical focus wheel. When changing the objective, the focus will automatically be adjusted from the camera. The focus range from the "zero" position (which is the standard backfocus for C-Mount) up to 5,4 mm intrafocal to reach CS-Mount distance, and 10,6 mm extrafocal, to cover a wide range. In addition to the autofocus functionality, you can set the focus with the mouse or set a user defined focus range. The camera can be controlled with the included USB mouse directly through the on screen display. The on screen functionality now includes a measuring function as well, so the MikroCam Pro HDMI Autofocus upgrades your existing trinokular microscope to a fully equipped digital autofocus microscope.
