It delivers the microscope image live and without delay as an HDMI signal with Full HD resolution to a monitor or TV. An optional 11'' HDMI monitor (Art. No. 5914110) can be directly mounted on the camera, providing brilliant and high-contrast images. Due to its very high light sensitivity, good image quality is ensured even in low light. This model is especially recommended for dark field or phase contrast.The autofocus allows for optimal focusing of the camera without using the microscope's focusing wheels. This ensures parfocality on various trinocular microscopes. The focusable range extends from the 0 position, corresponding to the C-Mount distance, over a maximum forward focus of 5.4 mm, thus also reaching the CS-Mount distance and additionally up to 10.6 mm inward to cover an even larger range. Besides autofocus, the camera can also be manually focused using a mouse. Focus adjustment to a specific area is also possible.The operation of the camera functions is done via mouse directly on the screen menu. This allows for easy documentation of observations on objects and sharing with others. The high frame rate of the MikroCam SF series enables the creation of videos with smooth image flow. The built-in Sony sensors provide good image quality, color reproduction, and dynamics.The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish.The MikroCamLabII software offers a wide range of functions. Essential functions (e.g., exposure time and sensitivity) can be controlled automatically or manually.Very convenient are the functions for so-called focus stacking (for high depth of field) and the creation of a mosaic or panorama. These two functions can be performed with a previously recorded image series or directly from the live view. The creation of sharp images using live focus stacking (EDF) is possible with the MikroCamLabII software in just a few minutes. While you focus at the microscope, the software gradually builds the finished, completely sharp result image without further intervention. This way, you get impressive, sharp image results in no time.The measurement function* included in the software helps you determine sizes or display a scale. A PC or laptop is not required for operating the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector, or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in the classroom. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).The HDMI connection is easy to make, and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is required. Due to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved, and the image is always at a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and lag-free. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation, for example, in quality control or production, needs to be digitized.To control the camera, the included USB mouse is connected. This allows you to control the three menus (camera settings, measurement*, and display).*To take measurements with the camera, a calibration specimen is required (e.g., item no.: 5916710 or 5916720).The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as the camera operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible.Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for that.
