Product information "BRESSER Microscope Science MTL 201 50-800x with MikroCam PRO HDMI 5MP Microscope Camera and Full HD HDMI Display (13.3")"
The Microscope in Detail
The BRESSER Science MTL 201 is a specialised reflected light microscope that allows the observation of non-transparent surfaces at higher magnifications (50x-800x). Ideal fields of application for this very solidly manufactured instrument include metallography (e.g. polished sections of metals and alloys), mineralogy, precision mechanics, electronics, and the semiconductor industry; it is suitable for scientific research and teaching as well as industrial production (e.g. quality control). According to its purpose, the MTL 201 features a very large stage (250 mm x 230 mm), which can be roughly moved with a handle and finely adjusted with cross and longitudinal drives. For perfect focusing, coarse and fine focus (coaxial; approx. 70 µm/turn) are available. The reflected light illumination is provided by a halogen bulb (20 W) with adjustable light intensity through the objective. A centring field diaphragm, a selection of filters (yellow, green, blue, matte), and a polariser/analyser combination are available to the observer. The five-position turret is equipped with planachromatic DIN objectives (5x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 80x). The trinocular microscope head carries the eyepiece tubes inclined at 30° and the photo tube. The widefield eyepieces (WF10x) are adjustable for eye distance and dioptre difference. The photo tube allows digital image capture, e.g. via an optionally available PC eyepiece. Additional optional accessories: eyepiece (WF16x), measuring eyepiece (WF10x), planachromatic objective (50x).
The BRESSER Science MTL 201 is a specialised reflected light microscope that enables surface examinations of metals or plastics. It is therefore excellently suited for quality testing or tissue examination.

The Microscope Camera in Detail
The BRESSER MikroCam PRO HDMI 5MP impresses with its excellent image quality combined with user-friendly operation. It delivers the microscope image live and without delay as an HDMI signal with Full HD resolution to a monitor or television. An optional 11'' HDMI monitor (Art. No. 5914110) can be mounted directly on the camera and provides brilliant and high-contrast images.
For high-resolution microphotos, this camera features a high-quality Sony 5MP sensor, allowing images and videos to be saved on an SD card at resolutions higher than Full HD.
The camera functions are operated via mouse directly on the on-screen menu. Measurements can now also be performed via the on-screen menu, turning your microscope with the MikroCam Pro HDMI 5MP into a fully-fledged digital measuring microscope.
Additionally, the camera can provide the microscope view in a wireless network via a WiFi module. However, a USB connection to a PC is no longer provided with this model. For this, we recommend the MikroCam Pro HDMI 5914180 model.
The professional MikroCamLabII software is still included, allowing images to be edited and analysed afterwards.

The Display in Detail
The Full HD display is the ideal complement to the BRESSER MikroCam Pro HDMI and MINI HDMI
The display can be mounted directly on the camera with an adjustable holder. The screen delivers brilliant images without artefacts, as the display has the same resolution as the camera's output image. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC.
The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can continue to use the microscope as usual and simultaneously view the image on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a wide viewing angle of 178°! This allows several people to view the image without loss of quality.
The microscope camera image is displayed on the HDMI screen always without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. Display via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is especially advantageous when working under microscopic control.
Many users also benefit from improved ergonomics when viewing the image on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture can be uncomfortable for eye problems such as floaters (vitreous opacities). Digital viewing can provide relief here.
The display can be powered with the included Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable short, angled HDMI cable is also included, so cable clutter at the workplace is avoided. Mounting on a MikroCam PRO or MINI is done using two screws. Screws and tools are included.
