BRESSER MikroCamII 9MP 4K 1'' Microscope Camera

The BRESSER MikroCamII 5MP HIS with the light sensitive and low-noise Sony® IMX264 sensor is perfectly suited for low light applications. The camera uses a global shutter, which captures moving objects without distortion. With sufficient lighting, the camera is also capable of ultra short exposures as low as 1/50.000 second. In this mode, the camera can virtually freeze fast moving objects. The BRESSER MikroCamLabII software includes a variety of useful functions, e.g. measuring in live mode (optional calibration slide needed), mosaic/stitching, focus stacking (for extended depth of field). All camera parameters (exposure time, gain, white balance) can be set manually. Mosaic and focus stacking can be done in live mode, which gives instant results even for unexperienced users. The method is also much faster than the normal procedure where a set of images is rendered afterwards. To use the mosaic function in live mode, a crosstable / mechanical desk is highly recommended to move the sample. The big camera sensor is not compatible with all microscope models. It might lead to vignetting (dark edges). To compensate this, a 1.0x optical adapter (item code 5914001) is recommended. This camera will not work with the ETD-201 stereo microscope as the microscope will illuminate only a part of the sensor. For this microscope, we recommend the model MikroCamII 12MP item code 5914912. The BRESSER MikroCam II 20 MP 1’’ microscope camera is the professional solution when it comes to microscope imaging. This camera has a big 1’’ sensor (image area 13.06 x 8.8 mm); this is the biggest sensor of the MikroCam camera range. With this camera it is possible to document roughly the same field of view as it can be seen through the eyepiece (e.g. when using a 10x / 22mm). Other models will cover only 50% or less of the eyepiece field of view. The Sony IMX183 CMOS-sensor is very sensitive and has extremely low image noise, which makes this camera especially suitable for contrast methods like dark field or phase contrast. The MikroCam Lab II software comes with a wide range of professional functions, e.g. measurements in live view (calibration slide needed), mosaic, Focus-Stacking (for improved depth of field). All automatic functions (exposure time, gain, white balance etc) can be adjusted manually as well. Due to the big sensor size the camera will not work with all microscope models. It might be possible that the optics will not illuminate the full sensor, so you experience vignetting. Usually this can be resolved by using the optional 1x optical adapter (item no. 5914001). Please note that this camera model is not suitable for the stereo microscope BRESSER Science ETD-201. It will cover only a small field of view. The BRESSER MikroCamII microscope cameras help to make photos and videos with a microscope very easy. The modern Sony® CMOS sensors give brilliant colours with very low noise and is the perfect choice for any application where true natural colours are important. The included imaging software has multiple adjustments for the capture of still images and videos. The integrated measuring* routine allows for a measurement in the camera live image. The software can be operated in the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Chinese. The camera housing includes the c-mount adapter thread. For use with 23.2 mm adaptations, we recommend the optional, variable 0,5x reducer (item no. 5914005). For special applications, the camera can also be mounted using the 1/4'' camera tripod thread. The BRESSER MikroCamII are equipped with a USB 3.0 port, compared to the MikroCam SP. This enables up to 8 times faster data transfers to the PC compared with the USB 2.0 standard. The camera is able to deliver more than 25 frames per second (depending on resolution, exposure time and PC performance). This is especially important when observing live microorganisms. In addition to this, the camera is exceptionally sensitive. Even in low light conditions (high magnifications, contrast methods) the camera can be operated with short exposure times. The BRESSER Science MTL 201 is a special reflected light microscope, which allows to observe non-transparent surfaces at higher magnifications (50x-800x). This solid designed instrument is ideal for working in metallography (e. g. microscopy of polished samples of metals or alloys), mineralogy, precision engineering and electronics. It is suitable for scientific research, teaching demonstration and industrial production (e.g. quality controlling). According to its purposes, the MTL 201 is equipped with a large stage (250 mm x 230 mm), which can be moved coarsely by a quick adjustment lever and finely by a transverse and a longitudinal knob. The focuser has coarse and fine drive (coaxial; circa 70 µm/ full turn). The illumination is done by a halogen lamp (20 W) with a dimmer. The light comes through the objective from above onto the sample. There are a field diaphragm, which can be centered, some filters (yellow, green, blue, ground glass) and a polarizer/analyzer combination. The fivefold nosepiece is equipped with planachromatic DIN objectives (5x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 80x). The trinocular head bears two 30° inclined ocular tubes and the photo tube. The oculars (with 10x wide field lenses) have diopter and eye relief adjustments. The photo tube allows for digital imaging, e. g. with an optional available PC eyepiece. The MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a very compact HDMI camera. No PC or laptop is needed to use it, simply connect to a monitor, TV, beamer or smartboard. This makes the camera especially suited for teaching. As a plus, you can also mount the BRESSER HDMI display (item no. 5914120) directly on the camera. Connection via HDMI is easy and the camera is ready to go instantly. No software installation, PC setup etc. is necessary. The lossless data transfer ensures a good image quality and the image is lag free and with a constant high framerate of 60fps. This is especially helpful when digitizing a microscope workplace in QC or production With the included mouse, you can control the camera via 3 distinctive on screen menus (camera control, settings, measurements). To calibrate measurements, please add a calibration slide (e.g. item no. 5916720). The camera is well suited for presentations, lectures etc. because upon startup it is working directly in auto mode with no user input. The camera does not have a start button, it is working directly after power up. Menus and mouse icon are not visible if the mouse is not connected. Please note that this camera does not allow direct PC connection via USB. The USB port is for the mouse input only. The BRESSER reduction lens 1x variable is used to shift the focal point of the camera. The image section of the camera can also be varied slightly. Especially for trinocular microscopes, the adapter enables the camera focus to be adapted to the eyepiece focus. It is compatible with eyepiece pull-outs with 23.2 mm plug-in socket. This adapter is specially designed for cameras with sensor sizes of 1''. The connection is made via a 1'' C-Mount thread. This adapter is especially recommended for the MikroCamII 20 MP (Art.-No. 5914200).
