The BRESSER MikroCam II 20 MP 1’’ microscope camera is the professional solution when it comes to microscope imaging. This camera has a big 1’’ sensor (image area 13.06 x 8.8 mm); this is the biggest sensor of the MikroCam camera range. With this camera it is possible to document roughly the same field of view as it can be seen through the eyepiece (e.g. when using a 10x / 22mm). Other models will cover only 50% or less of the eyepiece field of view. The Sony IMX183 CMOS-sensor is very sensitive and has extremely low image noise, which makes this camera especially suitable for contrast methods like dark field or phase contrast. The MikroCam Lab II software comes with a wide range of professional functions, e.g. measurements in live view (calibration slide needed), mosaic, Focus-Stacking (for improved depth of field). All automatic functions (exposure time, gain, white balance etc) can be adjusted manually as well. Due to the big sensor size the camera will not work with all microscope models. It might be possible that the optics will not illuminate the full sensor, so you experience vignetting. Usually this can be resolved by using the optional 1x optical adapter (item no. 5914001). Please note that this camera model is not suitable for the stereo microscope BRESSER Science ETD-201. It will cover only a small field of view. The BRESSER MikroCam SP microscope cameras help to make photos and videos with a microscope very easy.The modern CMOS sensors  give brilliant colors with very low noise and is the perfect choice for any application where true natural colors are important. The included imaging software has multiple adjustments for the capture of still images and videos. The integrated measuring* routine allows for a measurement in the camera live image. The software can be operated in the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Chinese. The camera housing includes the c-mount adapter thread. For use with 23,2mm adaptations, we recommend the optional, variable 0,5x reducer (item no. 5914005). For special applications the camera can also be mounted using the 1/4” camera tripod thread. The BRESSER DST-0745 is a special microscope that is operated with a c-mount camera (camera not included). This allows direct viewing on a screen. Due to the vertically installed optics, there is no shifting of the image when focusing. This is especially useful for "focus stacking" shots. The zoom is continuously adjustable from 0.7x - 4.5x. A coarse and fine focus adjustment facilitates focusing, especially at high magnifications. The convenient and user-friendly operation makes the digital microscope particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality control of surfaces or inspection of components and raw materials are easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants and rocks are also impressively displayed. The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation. It can only be used in combination with a MikroCam c-mount microscope camera. It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2". Smaller sensors can be used without problems. With larger sensors there is vignetting, which becomes somewhat less at higher magnifications. Due to the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned. The transmitted light illumination helps when observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminators can be adjusted in five steps. The magnification of a USB camera differs from the magnification of the lens. It depends, among other things, on the sensor size and the display on a monitor. It can be compared to macro lenses with macro factor 0.7:1 up to 4.5:1. The BRESSER MikroCamII 5MP HIS with the light sensitive and low-noise Sony® IMX264 sensor is perfectly suited for low light applications. The camera uses a global shutter, which captures moving objects without distortion. With sufficient lighting, the camera is also capable of ultra short exposures as low as 1/50.000 second. In this mode, the camera can virtually freeze fast moving objects. The BRESSER MikroCamLabII software includes a variety of useful functions, e.g. measuring in live mode (optional calibration slide needed), mosaic/stitching, focus stacking (for extended depth of field). All camera parameters (exposure time, gain, white balance) can be set manually. Mosaic and focus stacking can be done in live mode, which gives instant results even for unexperienced users. The method is also much faster than the normal procedure where a set of images is rendered afterwards. To use the mosaic function in live mode, a crosstable / mechanical desk is highly recommended to move the sample. The big camera sensor is not compatible with all microscope models. It might lead to vignetting (dark edges). To compensate this, a 1.0x optical adapter (item code 5914001) is recommended. This camera will not work with the ETD-201 stereo microscope as the microscope will illuminate only a part of the sensor. Microscope slides with a micrometer scale are used for the calibration for measurements.They are used in combination with a micrometer eyepiece or a measurement software (for cameras) in order to measure preparations. The broad scale is suitable for lower magnifications, the fine scale for higher magnifications.
