  • Fabric: flexible and portable; cotton provides a creative look and is washable; minor wrinkles can be reduced with tensioners.
  • Vinyl: durable and easy to clean; ideal when animals or children are involved and the background is heavily used.
  • Collapsible background: compact and wrinkle-free when stored; perfect for travel and quick setups.

Even lighting is essential for accurately reproducing colors and details. Studio flashes with softboxes or spotlights are recommended, ideally two units for optimal illumination. Beginners may prefer simple daylight kits, LED sets are suitable for food photography and smaller objects, while LED multi-color lights are ideal for creative effects.

For small spaces or mobile applications, portable systems consisting of two stands and a crossbar are sufficient. Those operating a permanent studio are better served by wall- or ceiling-mounted systems, which can be installed permanently. Electric roller systems are particularly convenient, allowing quick changes between different backgrounds.

This complete system allows you to securely and neatly mount one paper background roll (up to 2.72 m wide and 11 m long) to the wall or ceiling. Thanks to its smart design, you can easily switch between different backgrounds and smoothly roll the paper up or down using the chain mechanism. Perfect for studio photography, portrait photography, product shoots, or video recording. Please note: This item is suitable for paper rolls up to 2.72 x 11 meters with a maximum weight of approximately 5–6 kg per roll. The use of heavier and larger rolls, such as vinyl, is technically possible but not recommended due to the risk of sagging or potential damage. Use of such rolls is therefore at your own risk. Paper backgrounds often tend to roll up at the bottom end. This BRESSER weighted bar is designed to stop the paper from moving and ensure a tight background for your photographs. Simply attach the weighted bar to the end of the paper roll with the adhesive tape provided. Small spirit levels on both sides of the bar help to ensure that the background is mounted in a level position.
