The BRESSER Science ETD-301 is a stereo incident light and transmitted light microscope with high-quality optics.It is suitable for use in medicine, agriculture, forestry, forensics, scientific research institutes and schools as well as for the assembly and inspection of small components in precision mechanics and electronics.The particularly wide base with object table enables the viewing of larger objects. The maximum object height is approx. 85 mm. The large working distance of 100 mm allows working with tools, e.g. for dissecting, measuring or testing.The instrument has an LED incident light and a transmitted light illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each can be infinitely adjusted. The incident light angle can be adjusted in a particularly user-friendly way. With interchangeable wide-field eyepieces (WF10x) and a 9x stereo zoom lens (0.7x-6.3x), a continuous magnification range from 7x to 63x is realised.The coarse and fine focusing allows precise focusing, especially at high magnifications and in photography.The interpupillary distance and dioptric compensation are individually adjustable. The trinocular microscope head can be rotated 360° and has two 45° inclined eyepiece tubes.The trinocular tube can carry an SLR/system camera (APS-C or DX format) or a c-mount camera (sensor size up to 1") using an optional adapter. By means of a switch, the beam path of one eyepiece is deflected towards the camera. The zoom stereo microscope BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable for a wide variety of objects. Because of the Greenough design with two tilted objectives, you can view the sample in 3D. The three-dimensional view is also very helpful when working under the microscope, e.g. when soldering, dissecting or preparing a sample.The precise zoom enables you to view your sample in a wide range of magnifications from 1x to 4x (zoom ratio 4.0). When zooming, only slight refocussing is necessary. To do this, the Advance ICD microscope is equipped with a very precise, coaxial coarse and fine focus. The fine focus is especially helpful when using high magnifications or for imaging. When doing focus stacking with our MikroCam cameras (optional) the fine focus is also a big help.The interpupillary distance of the eyepiece pair is adjustable. Both eyepiece holders are equipped with diopter adjustment, which allows users with bad eyesight to compensate up to 8 dpt. difference between left and right eye. The 10x wide field eyepieces have field number (FN) 22 and are equipped with soft rubber eyecups. The microscope head can be moved on the long rod of the stand, which allows you to observe big samples up to a size of 22 cm.The angle of the bright LED reflected light illumination can be adjusted as necessary. The extra bright and even LED transmitted light provides a flat background when viewing transparent samples. The switch allows you to select reflected light, transmitted light or a combination of both to match your requirements. Brightness is adjustable with the dimmer. The bright light does not heat up, which allows you to observe also living specimens over a longer period of time. The long lasting LED is powered by a 5V AC adapter (EU/UK). The power cable comes with a USB plug.Fully equipped, the Advance ICD covers an exceptionally wide range of magnifications and is therefore suitable for a variety of tasks. Besides the included 2x lens there is also a selection of other auxiliary objectives available. It is suitable for use in medicine, agriculture and forestry, forensics, scientific research institutes and schools, as well as for assembly and inspection of small components in precision mechanics and electronics. The particularly wide base with object table and the exceptionally large height adjustment range allow observation of larger objects. The instrument features LED reflected and transmitted illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each dimmed steplessly. The reflected light incidence angle is especially user-friendly adjustable and lockable. With interchangeable widefield eyepieces (WF10x) and a 6.25x stereo zoom objective (0.8x-5x), a continuous magnification range from 8x to 50x is realised. The click-stop zoom locks at predefined positions, so magnifications can be exactly reproduced, e.g., for measurements at the microscope. The eyepieces have a field number of 22, allowing a visible field of view between 4.5 and 27.5 mm. The eye distance and dioptre adjustment are individually adjustable. The trinocular microscope head can be rotated 360° and features two eyepiece tubes inclined at 45° as well as a separate, parfocally adjustable camera tube for connecting a C-mount camera, or MikroCam, up to a 1/2" sensor size. A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in teaching. Alternatively, a small BRESSER monitor can be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120). The HDMI connection is easy to make and the camera is ready for use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Thanks to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is especially advantageous when a microscope workstation is to be digitised, e.g., in quality control or production. The supplied USB mouse is connected for control. This allows the three menus (camera settings, measurement* and display) to be controlled. *To perform measurements with the camera, a calibration slide is required (e.g., item no.: 5916710 or 5916720). The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible. Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for this. The USB port is only for controlling the camera with the mouse. The screen delivers brilliant images without artefacts, as the display has the same resolution as the camera's output image. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC. The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual and simultaneously view the image on the monitor. The display delivers optimal image quality with a wide viewing angle of 178°! This allows several people to view the image without loss of quality. The image from the microscope camera is always displayed on the HDMI screen without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. Displaying via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work under microscopic control is to be carried out. Many users also benefit from improved ergonomics when viewing the image on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture are unpleasant for eye problems such as floaters (vitreous opacities). Digital viewing can provide relief here. The display can be powered with the supplied Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable short, angled HDMI cable is also included to avoid cable clutter at the workstation. The BRESSER Analyth STR 10x - 60x Stereo Reflected and Transmitted Light Microscope features 3 different objective magnifications (1x, 2x, 3x), which can be easily switched by rotating the objective. This allows for magnifications of 10x, 20x, 30x, 40x and 60x. Two eyepiece pairs with 10x and 20x magnification are included. They are secured with a small screw to prevent them from falling out. The stereo design provides a particularly vivid and three-dimensional view of structured objects. The low initial magnification of 10x is especially suitable for working with children. This allows objects up to 20 mm in size to be viewed in full. The Analyth STR is therefore extremely versatile. It is suitable for insects, plants, minerals and much more, and can be used for hobbies, in schools and in professional settings. Of course, the stereo microscope can also be used for quality control, in horticulture and agriculture, for water analysis and many other applications.
