BRESSER Phase Contrast Set for Science Infinity Microscope
To enhance contrast according to the refraction index and the thickness of the preparations. The phase contrast set contains four different irises, four different phase contrast objectives (10x, 20x, 40x, 100x oil) and a green color filter. A collimating eyepiece allows easy aligning. This method is especially suitable for non-stained, low contrast samples (epithelium cells, amoeba, white blood cells) and will also help with visibility of bacteria. Therefore it is used in cell culture and life science where color staining cannot be used. One position of the filter holder is free. Thus the phase contrast set can also be used as a brightfield condenser with iris diaphragm. This phase contrast set fits the Science Infinity (item No.: 5760700) microscope. BRESSER Science Infinity Microscope
The New BRESSER Science Infinity is the new top of the range of the biology microscope series by BRESSER. It is based on infinitely corrected planachromatic objective lenses with superb image quality. Because of the modern design and optics the installation of accessories is very simple and one has many options. The WF 10x eyepieces offer a large visual field of 22mm and are also suitable for spectacle wearers. For protection purposes the eyepieces are rubber coated. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted from ca. 55mm to 75mm. Dioptre adjustments are possible with both eyepieces. The bright and durable LED illumination is dimmable and also very practical for darkfield microscopy*.The Full Köhler illumination is adjustable with the built-in luminous-field diaphragm and the vertically and horizontally adjustable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25, with iris diaphragm). An imprint of the different possible magnifications on the condenser makes the adjustment of the iris diaphragm very fast and precise.Coaxial pinions drive the stage and focus which enables ergonomic operation of the microscope. The trinocular tube enables the direct attachment of a c-mount camera or MikroCam.SCOPE OF DELIVERYMicroscope with integrated LED illuminationplanachromatic objectives, infinity corrected (4x, 10x, 40x, 100x oil)2x eyepieces (WF 10x)Mains adapterManualImmersion oilDust cover*only with optional accessories

NEXCOPE DIC Observation Set (NE900)
Differential interference contrast is now the standard for many professional life science applications. This method achieves aesthetic microscope images with the highest resolution and a very high contrast. As a contrast method, DIC generates impressive optical cuts, and is particularly useful for uncoloured, unfixed samples and living organisms that cannot be compressed. With preparations such as diatoms or radiolaria, it is possible to obtain aesthetic, textbook-quality images. The DIC set works according to the Nomarski method. The light is first polarized and divided into two parallel but spatially separated beam paths by a special prism in the condenser. Depending on the material properties or light refraction, interference occurs between these two parallel beam paths when they pass through the sample. This accentuates certain structures in a pseudo 3D relief. Both beam paths are combined in the DIC slider, which is located behind the objectives; the rotatable polarizing filter then enables the desired contrast effect or the direction of the relief effect to be set and perfectly matched to the sample. In combination with a Nexcope NE900 series microscope, this contrast method provides you with a professional observation instrument for your scientific investigations. It also provides an affordable option for amateur enthusiasts. With the Nexcope DIC, you receive a complete, pre-configured set that you can use without any prior specialist knowledge. Unlike phase contrast, adjustments are not required during the installation process. The DIC set is ready for use in a few simple steps, and the S-Apo objectives can also be used for bright field, dark field or polarization applications. While observing with the NE900 series microscope, you can switch directly between DIC, bright field, polarization or epi-fluorescence.

BRESSER Science MPO 401 Microscope
In contrast to usual light, polarized light has a preferred vibration plane of the light waves. Polarized light lets be seen anisotropic objects, whose observable properties are depending on the direction, "in a new light": crystals, but also animal hairs, feathers, muscles, nerve fibres and vegetable cell walls, which have a preferred direction of its biomolecules, show structures now, which were hidden in the normal bright field image. Images made by polarized light are often characterized by a fantastic coloring. Polarization microscopes are used particularly in mineralogy, geology, biology and medicine. In order to change the object's direction in a controlled way, the Science MPO 401 has a round, center-adjustable and full rotatable object stage with degree scale. The illumination and observation unit encloses e. g. the halogen bulb lamp (20 W) with dimmer, the field diaphragm (used to achieve the Köhler illumination), the 360° rotatable polarizer (for the production of polarized light), centering implements for the objectives and the analyzer attachment (for the analysis of the polarized light). The analyzer attachment is meant for receiving the 360° rotatable analyzer and optional available sliders (Bertrand lens for conoscopy; quartz wedge, lambda plate and lambda/4 plate used in order to get special colour effects). The wide field eyepieces (WF10x), which are also optional available, are placed at the trinocular head with an inclination of 30°. They have eye relief adjustment as well as diopter adjustment. The images shown by them are bright, true colored, sharp and rich in details. Apart from the slips and eyepieces, which were mentioned above, the accessories of the MPO 401 contain a dividing eyepiece (WF10x), the Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm, special polarization objectives (4x, 10x, 40x retractable, 100x-oil retractable), filters (blue, ground glass) and immersion oil.
