The bright LED illumination is adjustable with a dimmer. The Abbe condenser is height-adjustable and centring, and equipped with an iris diaphragm. For perfect sharpness adjustment, coarse and fine focus are available, and for precise positioning of the specimen, a coaxial stage. The 360° rotatable binocular head allows for individual adjustment of the interpupillary distance and diopter compensation between the viewer's eyes.Instead of a binocular head, the Trino Researcher has a trinocular head. Ideal fields of application for this very solidly built instrument include metallography (e.g. microstructures of metals and alloys), mineralogy, precision mechanics, electronics and the semiconductor industry; it is suitable for scientific research and teaching as well as for industrial production (e.g. quality control). In line with its intended use, the MTL 201 features a very large stage (250 mm x 230 mm), which can be moved coarsely with a handle and finely with cross and longitudinal drives. For perfect focusing, both coarse and fine focus (coaxial; approx. 70 µm per revolution) are provided. Reflected light illumination using a 20 W halogen lamp with adjustable light intensity is directed through the objective. A centreable field diaphragm, a selection of filters (yellow, green, blue, matt) and a polariser/analyser combination are available to the user. The five-position nosepiece is fitted with planachromatic DIN objectives (5x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 80x). The trinocular microscope head holds the 30° inclined eyepiece tubes and the photo tube. The widefield eyepieces (WF10x) can be adjusted for interpupillary distance and dioptre difference. The photo tube enables digital image capture, e.g. via an optionally available PC eyepiece. The camera works with a global shutter, which prevents distortions with moving objects. If sufficient light is available, the extremely short exposure time of up to 1/50,000 second makes it possible to virtually freeze even fast movements. The MikroCam Lab II software offers a wide range of functions, such as measurement in live view (calibration slide required), mosaic image creation, and focus stacking (for increased depth of field). In addition, almost all automatic functions (exposure time, sensitivity, white balance, etc.) can also be set manually. The Mosaic and Focus Stacking (EDF) functions can be generated directly from the live image. This can save a great deal of time. Even non-professionals can achieve quick results. To use the mosaic function optimally, a cross stage is required. Due to the large sensor, the camera is not optimally suited for every microscope. This may result in vignetting (edge shading). The instrument features LED reflected and transmitted illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each dimmed steplessly. The modern Sony® CMOS sensors deliver brilliant colours with overall very low image noise and are therefore the perfect solution for applications where natural colour reproduction is important. The included capture software offers numerous settings for capturing single images and videos. An integrated measurement function* allows measurement already in the live image. The BRESSER Analyth STR 10x - 60x Stereo Reflected and Transmitted Light Microscope features 3 different objective magnifications (1x, 2x, 3x), which can be easily switched by rotating the objective. This allows for magnifications of 10x, 20x, 30x, 40x and 60x. Two eyepiece pairs with 10x and 20x magnification are included. They are secured with a small screw to prevent them from falling out. The stereo design provides a particularly vivid and three-dimensional view of structured objects. The low initial magnification of 10x is especially suitable for working with children. This allows objects up to 20 mm in size to be viewed in full. The Analyth STR is therefore extremely versatile.
