FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

The BRESSER Tuya Smart Home 7 Channel Tuya Thermometer/Hygrometer features smart technology that automatically controls your heating or dehumidifier to maintain a comfortable temperature and humidity in your home. This is achieved using IoT (Internet of Things) technology. This smart thermo-hygrometer is the perfect addition to a smart home system powered by Tuya, the world-leading IoT platform. With the Tuya Smart app, you can connect your home appliances and create your very own smart home. As part of this system, the thermo-hygrometer helps to maintain a comfortable environment inside your home. Up to 7 sensors (1 included, 6 optional) can transmit your measurement data to the base station at a range of 150 m, from where the data is transmitted by Wi-Fi to the app.

But wouldn’t it also be great in the bedroom, so that as soon as you’ve switched off the alarm you’ll know whether blue sky and sunshine await? With this additional BRESSER base station, you don’t need to decide on just one room. Simply connect to your 7-in-1 external sensor and you have immediate access to your measured values in another room. You can count on the usual functions whenever you need them, including reliable local weather trend forecasts for the next 12 hours, displayed as graphics, so know when to organize a spontaneous BBQ. In the winter months, the frost alarm will alert you when the external temperature falls below -3 °C: Caution, risk of black ice! You can also see the date, day of the week, time and moon phases so you have an idea of the ‘signs of the times’. Plus, for a more long-term view, the memory function stores historical measured data from the past 24 hours.

The additional BRESSER base station allows you to respond to unusual situations like these with utmost flexibility, as two stations mean two separate measured results for indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. Position the device in a critical location and the integrated sensor will measure the current room temperature, humidity and air pressure at that location. A graphical room climate indicator will alert you when the air is optimal, too dry or too damp. In addition, you can also set an independent maximum/minimum value alarm with audible and light signal on the additional station itself.

Built-in alarm
The additional base station will help to give you a relaxing start to the day. It features a built-in alarm and a snooze button that silences the alarm to give you an extra few minutes in bed. The clock is synchronized automatically via the Internet to ensure that you won't be late to work. The modern LCD colour display can be viewed from any angle and shows you all relevant weather data including a weather forecast to help you decide what to wear for the day. The additional base station also displays a range of other useful data, including the perceived temperature, sunburn time, Beaufort level and historical data. Smart function for icy weather: Thanks to the built-in frost alarm, the alarm goes off 30 minutes earlier when the outdoor temperature drops below -3 °C.

The base station features a built-in sensor that measures the room humidity and temperature and stores the maximum and minimum values. An optimal indoor climate is indicated by a smiley face on the graphical comfort indicator. Many animals are nocturnal, and don’t venture out until nighttime. This digital binocular night vision device from BRESSER allows you to observe deer, hedgehogs and other nocturnal animals in complete darkness. It features an 850 nm infrared light with 7 brightness settings, which functions as an invisible light source.
The device also features 3.5x magnification, allowing you to get up close to the action. And if you need to zoom in further on the 2-inch TFT display, you can use the 3x zoom to observe at 10.5x and view your subject in even more detail. This means that you can position yourself up to 130 m away without having to worry about scaring off any wildlife. This device only connects to the internet on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi frequency. Most routers establish the correct connection automatically. If this is not the case, you can usually make a manual adjustment.
