Even lighting is essential for accurately reproducing colors and details. Studio flashes with softboxes or spotlights are recommended, ideally two units for optimal illumination. Beginners may prefer simple daylight kits, LED sets are suitable for food photography and smaller objects, while LED multi-color lights are ideal for creative effects.
For small spaces or mobile applications, portable systems consisting of two stands and a crossbar are sufficient. Those operating a permanent studio are better served by wall- or ceiling-mounted systems, which can be installed permanently. The BRESSER STR-48B is an LED ring light that was specially designed for models, make-up artists and vloggers. The ring light illuminates the subject with bright, natural light and creates an attractive circular reflection in the eyes of the model.
