The BRESSER DST-0745 is a special microscope that is operated with a c-mount camera (camera not included). This allows direct viewing on a screen. Due to the vertically installed optics, there is no shifting of the image when focusing. This is especially useful for "focus stacking" shots. The zoom is continuously adjustable from 0.7x - 4.5x. A coarse and fine focus adjustment facilitates focusing, especially at high magnifications. The convenient and user-friendly operation makes the digital microscope particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality control of surfaces or inspection of components and raw materials are easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants and rocks are also impressively displayed. The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation. It can only be used in combination with a MikroCam c-mount microscope camera. It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2". Smaller sensors can be used without problems. With larger sensors there is vignetting, which becomes somewhat less at higher magnifications. Due to the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned. The transmitted light illumination helps when observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminators can be adjusted in five steps. The magnification of a USB camera differs from the magnification of the lens. It depends, among other things, on the sensor size and the display on a monitor. It can be compared to macro lenses with macro factor 0.7:1 up to 4.5:1. A PC or laptop is not required for operating the camera; you can simply connect the MicroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector, or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in teaching. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).The connection via HDMI is easy to make, and the camera is ready for use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Due to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved, and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation is to be digitized, for example, in quality control or production.To control the camera, the included USB mouse is connected. The screen delivers brilliant images without artifacts, as the display has the same resolution as the output image of the camera. With the set of MicroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows for observation independent of a PC.The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual and view the image simultaneously on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a large viewing angle of 178°! This way, multiple people can view the image without loss of quality.The image from the microscope camera is always displayed on the HDMI screen without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. The representation via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than when using a USB camera on a laptop or PC.
