Product information "BRESSER Stereo Zoom Microscope Advance ICD 10x-160x with MikroCamII 9MP 4K 1" camera"
The microscope in detail
The BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable as a zoom stereo loupe for various observations. Objects appear three-dimensional and plastic due to the Greenough design with two inclined objectives. The 3D image also makes working with tools (e.g., preparing, dissecting, soldering) much easier.
The zoom allows for continuous adjustment of magnification with a zoom factor of 4.0 (1x-4x). Only minimal refocusing is needed when zooming. For this, the Advance ICD has a coaxial focus drive with coarse and fine adjustment. This allows for particularly sensitive focusing, especially at high magnifications or for photography. The fine focus is also a great help for focus stacking, e.g., with our MikroCam cameras (optional).
The interpupillary distance is individually adjustable. Both eyepiece holders have a diopter adjustment, allowing for differences in vision strength of up to about 8 dpt. between the left and right eye to be compensated. The 10x wide-field eyepieces with a field number of 22 are equipped with removable rubber eyecups. The microscope head can be adjusted in height on the stand rod. This allows for the observation of very large objects up to an object height of about 22 cm.
The bright LED incident illumination is adjustable in its inclination. The particularly even and bright LED transmitted illumination provides a homogeneous background for transmitted specimens. The lighting can be set with a toggle switch, allowing for incident and transmitted light to be used separately or together, depending on the type of specimen. You can conveniently adjust the brightness with the dimmer. The bright LED lighting generates no heat, allowing living specimens to be observed safely over a longer period. A power-saving 5V power adapter (with Euro and UK adapter) is used for the long-lasting LED lighting. The power cable has a USB connection on one side.
The Advance ICD can be used in a variety of ways due to its large magnification range. In addition to the included 2x auxiliary lens, other additional objectives are available, allowing you to further vary and adapt the magnification range, working distance, and depth of field to your requirements.
The following magnifications are possible in the basic configuration:
10x eyepieces: 10x 40x
10x eyepieces plus 2x auxiliary lens: 20x 80x
20x eyepieces: 20x 80x
20x eyepieces plus 2x auxiliary lens: 80x 160x
(further magnifications possible with optional additional objectives or eyepiece magnifications)
The third tube is designed for connecting a camera. A switch directs the image from the left objective to the camera tube. Various adapters and reduction optics are available for C-mount cameras and DSLR or system cameras, allowing practically all cameras with removable lenses to be connected.

The microscope camera in detail
With the BRESSER MikroCamII 9MP 4K, 4K videos can be recorded at up to 30 fps (depending on the system used). Due to the global shutter, no image distortions occur during movement. The large image sensor (14.13 x 7.45 mm) provides a very large field of view.
The very high light sensitivity of the Sony® IMX305 CMOS sensor enables very good image quality even in dark field or phase contrast.
The BRESSER MikroCam Lab II software offers a variety of functions, such as measurement in the live image (calibration specimen required), mosaic creation, focus stacking (for increased depth of field). Furthermore, almost all automatic functions (exposure time, sensitivity, white balance, etc.) can also be set manually.
The functions: mosaic and focus stacking (EDF) can be generated directly from the live image. This can save a lot of time.
Even if you are not a professional, you can achieve quick success. To optimally use the mosaic function, a cross table is required.
Due to the large sensor, the camera is not optimally suited for every microscope. There may be edge shading (vignetting) in this case. This shading is usually prevented by a 1x optic (Art. No. 5914001) that is screwed into the camera.
For the trinocular tube of the ETD-201, this camera is not designed. In this microscope, not the entire part of the image field can be used.
