The BRESSER camera adapter is the ideal connecting piece between your 35 mm SLR camera or DSLR and your telescope. The adapter is suitable for 1.25" eyepieces with a larger housing diameter of up to 55 mm. Please note, this adapter will be suitable for most Refractors and Cassegrain designs, but may not be suitable for use with all Newtonian designs of telescopes, due to the comparatively short travel of focus in some Newtonians. The BRESSER Pirsch Gen II spotting scopes are primarily intended for nature observers. Equipped with a light-intense, fully broadband multi-coated 80 mm lens, they allow higher magnifications even at twilight. This spotting scope is also equipped with the high-quality UR coating for brighter and higher-contrast images. Together with the waterproof and nitrogen-filled housing and the non-reflective armouring, nature observers can determine e.g. bird species in any weather, even at long distances. Photography Enthusiasts of digital photography will find also a reliable tool in the Pirsch series: together with the DSLR adapters 49-20002 or 49-14911 almost all digital cameras or smartphones can be connected to this telescope. Robust materials The focus and eyepieces are made of sturdy metal, ensuring long-lasting pleasure when using the Pirsch spotting scope range. The rubber armouring is manufactured to ensure a firm grip and protection against knocks during use in the field. Compensation The Pirsch spotting scopes of Gen. II are all equipped with the new UR coating. This special coating ensures better light transmission and therefore provides a bright image even in difficult lighting conditions.   10:1 DeLuxe focusing An important factor in optical devices is optimal focusing. Here, we at BRESSER have paid great attention to fast and easy focusing as well as very precise focusing. Thus, the focus of the Pirsch spotting scope can be adjusted quickly and down to the last cm. This is ensured by the 10:1 ratio of the focus. Waterproof and nitrogen filled All Pirsch models are waterproof and nitrogen filled, so you have the perfect optical companion with you in all weather conditions. Rain or fog present no obstacle to using the Pirsch. Fogging from the inside in case of large temperature differences is prevented by the nitrogen filling and thus ensures that the device is always ready for use and provide clear views, no matter what the prevailing weather conditions are. The H-alpha wavelength is the most impressive way to observe the sun, showing protuberances at the sun's edge, filaments and flares on the surface, and much more. An internal Etalon filter achieves a bandwidth of <0.7 Angstrom with the innovative air pressure tuning system Pressure-Tuner. Tuning is done by slightly changing the air pressure in a pressure chamber inside the telescope. This changes the refractive index of the air, making it easy to tune to the H-alpha line. The pressure tuner guarantees a homogeneous image, without central obstruction, and a permanently protected Etalon without erosion.
