Product information "BRESSER Variable Adapter"

The BRESSER camera adapter is the ideal connecting piece between your 35 mm SLR camera or DSLR and your telescope. The adapter is suitable for 1.25" eyepieces with a larger housing diameter of up to 55 mm. Please note, this adapter will be suitable for most Refractors and Cassegrain designs, but may not be suitable for use with all Newtonian designs of telescopes, due to the comparatively short travel of focus in some Newtonians. Please check with us if you'd like further advice regarding your particular telescope.

The BRESSER Telescope Camera Adapter is the connecting piece between your 35 mm DSLR camera and the telescope. The connection to your camera can be achieved with the fitting T2-mount (T2-mount optional). Camera-Adapter M35/T2 for Bresser MC/MCX-100 and MC/MCX-127 Maksutov telescopes The BRESSER Camera-Adapter M35/T2 for MC/MCX100/127 is principally designed to connect a DSLR camera (with appropriate manufacturer-specific T2 T-ring, available separately) to the Bresser MC-100 and MC-127 Maksutov telescopes which have a built-in M35 connecting thread. You can also use wider-bodied astronomical cameras (non-c-mount), which have T2 threads built into their bodies, as standard with this camera adapter. This adapter can be separated into two different lengths of 30mm and 80mm (which both truncate in a T2/M42 thread). The use of these different lengths of extension tube allows the user to vary the projection of image on to a camera chip and get the best framing for the size of object being imaged. Please note: an extra camera specific T2-adapter ring (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.) is necessary to connect a DSLR.
