FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

The new BRESSER Wi-Fi colour Weather Station with a 5-in-1 professional sensor offers a wide range of data in a compact device. The advanced, multifunctional outdoor sensor is easy to mount with the supplied mounting accessories.
The outdoor sensor transmits measurements for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation to the base station at a frequency of 868 MHz.
The clearly structured 5.7" colour display on the base station also displays a range of historical data. It enables internal storage and evaluation of the measured data over a 24-hour period. Using the measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is indicated on the display by graphical symbols.
You can also use the Wi-Fi function to access your local weather data via Weather Underground. The Wi-Fi function also enables Internet time synchronisation and firmware updates.
There is a programmable alarm function for maximum and minimum values, which can emit an acoustic alarm and light signal if either value is reached. A special frost/ice warning alarm can also be configured for outdoor temperatures below -3 °C. A poor indoor climate can pose a particular health risk for children and the elderly. The BRESSER Wi-Fi colour weather station offers a smart feature to help tackle this. The indoor climate indicator uses symbols to visualise the current status of the indoor climate.
For fans of the moon, the display also indicates the various phases of the moon. An alarm with snooze function is also included.

The weather station comes with a solar-powered outdoor sensor, which is powered by solar energy and measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. Simply align the large solar panel with the sun according to your location. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries (not included) as a back-up during installation, and they will take care of the power supply. All the measurements will appear on the screen of the base station, which can be located up to 150 metres away.

The base station of the 6-day 4CAST PRO SF weather station features a stylish design and displays the data received from the solar-powered sensor. It also takes its own readings via the built-in thermo/hygro sensor, which measures the ambient indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. Together with the maximum/minimum memory, this enables you to keep an eye on the indoor climate and effectively prevent mildew and excessively dry air. The new design of the National Geographic Colour Display Weather-Station impresses with an excellent performance and excellent value for money. The weather station combines a compact design with a comprehensive information service. The new, unique colour display offers clear information and an ideal overview in an elegant design. The multifunctional outdoor sensor with its very compact design can be set up in almost any location. A pipe clamp and screws for attachment to masts (pipe diameter approx. 25-33 mm) as well as a stand for level mounting are already included in the scope of delivery! The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and amount of precipitation to the base station. On the display of the base station not only these values, but also a variety of history data can be read. The latter enables the internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected measurement data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is shown on the display by six graphic symbols.
An alarm can be individually programmed for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light signal when the specified value is reached. For outside temperatures from -3 °C, a special frost/ice warning alarm can also be activated.
A poor indoor climate can pose health risks, especially for children and elderly people. The National Geographic Weather Station also offers a smart feature for this purpose.
