This crosshair micrometer eyepiece enables the measurement of a specimen. The crossed scale facilitates horizontal and vertical measurement without rotating the eyepiece. For optimal visibility, the crosshair is focusable. The barrel diameter is 30 mm, allowing for a large field of view of 22 mm. An additional micrometer slide is required for calibration. Two different measuring slides are available: A measuring scale (Item No. 5916710): 1 mm, divided into 0.01 mm increments. Two measuring scales (Item No. 5916720): 10 mm, divided into 0.1 mm increments, and 1 mm, divided into 0.01 mm increments. The New BRESSER Science Infinity is the new top of the range of the biology microscope series by BRESSER. It is based on infinitely corrected planachromatic objective lenses with superb image quality. Because of the modern design and optics the installation of accessories is very simple and one has many options. The WF 10x eyepieces offer a large visual field of 22mm and are also suitable for spectacle wearers. For protection purposes the eyepieces are rubber coated. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted from ca. 55mm to 75mm. Dioptre adjustments are possible with both eyepieces.The bright and durable LED illumination is dimmable and also very practical for darkfield microscopy*.The Full Köhler illumination is adjustable with the built-in luminous-field diaphragm and the vertically and horizontally adjustable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25, with iris diaphragm). These eyepieces with their huge apparent field of view not only gave the observer a panoramic visual experience, but they relax the eye so the observer could pay attention to subtle details for extended periods. These ultra-wide angle eyepieces played a critical role in the military for aiming at targets, and their long eye-relief counterparts helped reduce eye injury from recoil.Each 100° Series Argon-Purged Waterproof eyepiece is internally sealed and purged with inert, dry argon gas to prevent internal fogging, to halt the intrusion of fine particulates and fungus. This also maximizes the life of the internal coatings.To make sure, every 100° eyepiece is tested by submerging them down to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. All 100° Series eyepieces are fully multi-coated and edge-blackened to produce maximum contrast.

With this objectives it is possible to extend the magnification range of the microscope. They are attached in front of the pair of objectives via the M48 thread. Please note that the additional objective will alter the working distance, i.e. the distance between the microscope head and the object that is in focus.Additional objectives with magnifications < 1.0 will raise the working distance.
