Very Precise Tracking with P-PEC FunctionThe SXP2WL mount is supplied with the modern STAR BOOK TEN controller. It offers a P-PEC function for highly precise tracking. The term 'PEC' stands for Periodic Error Correction. This system corrects errors in the mechanics, caused by periodic inaccuracies in the gear system.The P-PEC function saves your correction data even after the power is switched off, so you don't need to re-enter the data each time, allowing for faster operation and more precise tracking. Low-Noise Belt Drive System with Minimal BacklashIn conventional motor drive systems for equatorial mounts, gears are used to transmit power from the motor.
