Field-flattener and focal length reducer for deep-sky astrophotography. Designed for the multipurpose APO telescopes of the Lunt-Solar-Systems LS80MT, LS100MT and LS130MT series.

At the telescopes of the MT series from Lunt Solar Systems, the H-Alpha filter unit for solar observation can be removed, then these telescopes can be used as high quality ED APO's for observing and photographing the night sky.
This accessory for the LS80MT, LS100MT and LS130MT telescopes shortens the focal length by a factor of 0.8x, providing a larger field of view for deep-sky astrophotography. This also allows shorter exposure times. At the same time, the field of view is flattened for photography.

On the camera side, the reducer/field-flattener has a T2 male thread (M42x0.75). DSLR cameras can be connected here directly with a normal T2 ring.
For other cameras, an M48x0.75 male thread is available in addition to the T2 male thread. The distance between reducer/field-flattener and camera sensor should be around 50 to 55mm.

An M64x1 thread is provided on the telescope side. This allows to connect the reducer/field flattener to the focusers of the conversion kits for the LS80MT, LS100MT and LS130MT telescopes. Please note that for using the reducer/field flattener at the LS80MT, LS100MT or LS130MT telescopes, the corresponding conversion kit for night-time use of the telescope is absolutely necessary..

Never look at the sun with an unprotected eye or with a telescope not intended for solar observation! Never leave your telescope unattended while it is pointed at the sun! Other people who are unfamiliar with it might attempt to replace the block filter with another prism, unaware of how critical this filter is for safety. The components of Lunt-Solar-Systems telescopes are not interchangeable with those of other manufacturers. Lunt-Solar-Systems solar telescopes contain several different optical elements that have been precisely adjusted and mounted during manufacture. These systems require no maintenance. Never disassemble the telescope. Doing so will void the warranty, potentially leading to expensive repairs, and may cause future damage to your instrument, compromising your safety! Most Lunt-Solar-Systems telescopes and filters include a very sensitive optical component called an Etalon. These Etalons are built into the system to protect them as best as possible. Countless considerations have been made to ensure the best performance of this "heart" of every system, even under the daily stresses it inevitably faces, such as shocks and vibrations during transport or regular use. Nevertheless, it should never be dropped. Improper use of the telescope can damage the Etalon (not a warranty case) and render the system unusable until repaired. The instrument should always be stored in its original packaging or in the optional transport case (item number 0554010). Like any optical precision instrument, it should be stored in a dry environment. With proper care, you will enjoy your instrument for a lifetime!

BRESSER T2 Extension Tube Set

Set of 5 extension tubes with T2 thread on both sides for exact distances and secure hold of cameras for astrophotography. Also comes with SC to T2 thread adapter.In astrophotography, most cameras are connected to a telescope via a T2 thread (M42x0.75), the most popular international standard. However, in many cases, T2 and T2-ring adapters for connecting telescope focusers to a camera are not sufficient, as specific distances must also be observed. This is especially important when using correctors, reducers or flatteners. BRESSER Science ADL 601 P 50-600x Microscope

In the microscope's basis, there are a transmitted light halogen illuminator (20 W) as well as the power supply and the continuous adjustable dimmers for reflected light and transmitted light. LUNT LS80MT/B1800R&P Multipurpose APO Telescope for Sun + Night-Sky

Modular designed multipurpose telescope, both for observing the sun in the H-alpha wavelength, as well as for night sky observations. Easy conversion between the different applications with a few simple steps. 2-lens ED Apo telescope with FPL-53 glass, 80mm aperture and 560mm focal length - very good image quality for H-Alpha solar observation and also for observing the starry sky at night.With innovative air pressure tuning system, good 2 inch (50.8mm) R&P focuser, and B1800 blocking filter.Solar observing in H-alpha:The LS80MT/B1800 is a complete telescope for observing the sun in H-alpha light, with 80mm free aperture (no central obstruction) and 560mm focal length. The H-alpha wavelength is the most impressive way to observe the sun, showing protuberances at the sun's edge, filaments and flares on the surface, and much more. An internal Etalon filter achieves a bandwidth of <0.7 Angstrom with the innovative air pressure tuning system Pressure-Tuner. Tuning is done by slightly changing the air pressure in a pressure chamber inside the telescope. This changes the refractive index of the air, making it easy to tune to the H-alpha line. The pressure tuner guarantees a homogeneous image, without central obstruction, and a permanently protected Etalon without erosion. Vixen 31.7 mm Flip Mirror

The Vixen flip mirror is an ingenious solution for viewing in a straight line or at a 90-degree angle. The viewing angle can be changed by turning a wheel. The main connection features a 50.8 mm barrel, which is then reduced to one of the two 31.7 mm receptacles. There is also a T2 thread for a DSLR camera when the 31.7 mm eyepiece is removed. This allows you to connect your camera directly to the telescope with an optional T2 ring.
