Double-stack module for more contrast and details on the solar surface with the LS80MT and LS100MT telescopes.

At the LS80MT and LS100MT telescopes double-stacking is possible with this internal DSII double-stack module when observing the sun in H-Alpha. The DSII modules reduce the bandwidth to <0.5 Angstrom. They are designed to show the surface details of the sun better, the contrast is significantly increased and therefore filaments and active regions are better visible.

The DSII/SFPT module is designed exclusively for use in LS80MT and LS100MT telescopes, it cannot be used at other telescopes. It is used between the existing H-Alpha unit and the focuser on the telescope. Installation is simple, no additional adapters or tools are required.

Never look at the sun with an unprotected eye or with a telescope not intended for solar observation! Never leave your telescope unattended while it is pointed at the sun! Other people who are unfamiliar with it might attempt to replace the block filter with another prism, unaware of how critical this filter is for safety. The components of Lunt-Solar-Systems telescopes are not interchangeable with those of other manufacturers. Lunt-Solar-Systems solar telescopes contain several different optical elements that have been precisely adjusted and mounted during manufacture. These systems require no maintenance. Never disassemble the telescope. Doing so will void the warranty, potentially leading to expensive repairs, and may cause future damage to your instrument, compromising your safety! Most Lunt-Solar-Systems telescopes and filters include a very sensitive optical component called an Etalon. These Etalons are built into the system to protect them as best as possible. Countless considerations have been made to ensure the best performance of this "heart" of every system, even under the daily stresses it inevitably faces, such as shocks and vibrations during transport or regular use. Nevertheless, it should never be dropped. Improper use of the telescope can damage the Etalon (not a warranty case) and render the system unusable until repaired. The instrument should always be stored in its original packaging or in the optional transport case (item number 0554010). Like any optical precision instrument, it should be stored in a dry environment. With proper care, you will enjoy your instrument for a lifetime!

LUNT HRG/SFPT anti-reflection filter for DSII/SFPT double-stack at LS80MT & LS100MT telescopes

The anti-reflection filter is an accessory for the DSII/SFPT double-stack module for the Lunt Solar Systems LS80MT and LS100MT telescopes. Reflections that may occur there can be effectively reduced with this anti-reflection filter if necessary.At the LS80MT and LS100MT multipurpose telescopes from Lunt Solar Systems, double-stacking is possible in H-alpha mode for solar observation with the internal DSII/SFPT double-stack modules (item number 0551395). The DSII modules reduce the bandwidth to <0.5 Angstroms. The DSII modules are designed to show better the surface details of the Sun, the contrast is significantly increased, and therefore filaments and active areas are better visible.But the DSII modules can also induce reflections, which can show up as a strong brightening around the sun. This so-called ''glow'' is not a problem when observing the solar surface. But it can complicate the observation of prominences, and many observers find it disturbing. The HRG/SFPT anti-reflection filter is designed to solve this problem. The filter effectively reduces the reflections. But please also note that the image will become darker by using this anti-reflective filter.The HRG/SFPT anti-reflection filter is easy to install. A very compact, complete telescope for observing the sun in H-alpha light.The LS50THa solar telescope offers 50 mm free aperture, 350 mm focal length, and provides a bandwidth of <0.75 Angstrom. The telescope is fitted as standard with the air-pressure tuning system "Pressure-Tuner", the Etalon is safely installed inside the telescope. Prominences and surface detail can quickly be viewed spontaneously. This very portable system is an ideal travel companion for wherever you go.A B600 blocking filter is installed inside the star diagonal. The B600 offers a larger field of view than the smaller B400 and is very good for visual solar observing.
