Product information "LUNT LS100FHa/B3400 H-alpha solar filter"

100mm H-alpha solar filter system with B3400 blocking filter, for front mounting at telescopes with 2" focuser, and up to 3060mm focal length.

The LS100FHa H-alpha Etalon filter system with 100mm aperture for use on any refractor and many other telescopes. Because the LS100FHa has an estimated bandwidth of <0.7 Angstrom it is capable to providing high contrast views of both solar surface and edge detail (prominences).
The system includes the B3400 blocking filter, which is usable for telescopes up to 3060mm focal length. The blocking filter is installed in a straight extension tube for 2" focuser. This extension tube is equipped with a reception for 2" eyepieces and a adapter for 1.25" eyepieces.

Adding an additional available double-stack Etalon system will reduce the bandwidth to ~<0.5 Angstrom.

LUNT LS50THa/B400PT H-alpha solar telescope

A very compact, complete telescope for observing the sun in H-alpha light.The LS50THa solar telescope offers 50 mm free aperture, 350 mm focal length, and provides a bandwidth of <0.75 Angstrom. The telescope is fitted as standard with the air-pressure tuning system "Pressure-Tuner", the Etalon is safely installed inside the telescope. Prominences and surface detail can quickly be viewed spontaneously. This very portable system is an ideal travel companion for wherever you go.A B400 blocking filter is installed inside the star diagonal. The B400 is good for visual observing. Focusing is achieved by a non-roting Helical focuser.Please note that there is only a small back-focus at this telescope, therefore solar-imaging is very difficult. The LS50THa is designed for visual solar observing.
